I just returned to my home in florida and the first message on my phone was the same  one that others got.. Why are they calling? Is this a prank? What is their purpose? I'm not the person they say they are looking for.
I called them back and they said they were a national check service located in Connecticut. The person calling said her name was Cloey Sharp at extension 327

continuous calls from a guy leaving messages that a legal search team will be dispatched to my home and workplace to serve me papers.  He stated I was ignoring his calls.  The truth is, I don't answer blocked or unknown numbers.  I truly feel that is rude to call someone and not use your number.

call my nephew and left message looking for me stating  A legal matter in maricopa county and that was all said to him I call the number and all I get is an answering machine press 0 to speak to somne and the was told toeave a message with file number and phone number

Well right now in the State of Texas Hand Book states that any collection agency or other agency need to give you 90 day period, if you got a certified letter through mail. What you can do is you can press charges for harrasment by phone. You can go to your local police department and file a report, that way if you do go to court, you have documention that you asked for proof and you never got a letter through mail or anything, but yet they still called you and demanded to set some time of arangement,  cause you dont know if this is true or not. And believe me the first time i got calls from these numbers, man i was shocked and scared. And I am not going to lie I lost 2,200.00 for making arangements with this people and other callers, this was over 8 months ago. Another thing look at you credit history and check is this agency is there, mark my words it is not going to be there.

They keep calling me at work and sayingthey will call my corporate office and complain if i dont speak with them they also say i have to complaints against me and they are getting ready to take me to court...i live in texas also...what are my rights against this..?

They are not a scam. They actually had documnetation delivered to me and I had to appear in court. I dont know if you had a different company or not but I had to go to court but made a settlement in court.

This number called me again demanding me to call back to arrange a collection dept. I know these people are scammers, i been through it before. The number that called me before was 1-888-403-1971 and 1-888-569-5938 and 1-800-764-0544, I stated to them to send me a certified letter through mail to show proof they said they dont do that, but what i did i said send me an email for proof and they did. So on the email an address pop up, I googled it came out to be a Target store in Atlanta, I contacted the police department there in Atlanta. They stated to me that these people were fraud. I had changed my phone number a few times to get these people of my back..............

This number called my step dads house looking for me. The man told my step dad his name was JT and I really needed to call because they were gonna take me to court. I called to see who and what they were talking about needless to say they said I owe them from 2009 the guy got kind upset when I ask him for proof. But if you knew where I lived why would he need my address. Long story short I asked for proof cause if it's my debt I would pay it. They refused to send me proof.

Got a call from this number private, stating that i had a legal matter issue that i needed to take care of, or they were going to visit my at work or home to serve me with paperwork to take my to court, that this was my last chance. I havnt recevied any type paperwork in the mail or anything. I am a Peace Officer in the State Of Texas I know the law, i believe these people are SCAMMERS>>>>>

I got one too but they knew my name and my husbands last 4 of his social saying that they are taking him to court because he upset their company and couldn't give me information but urgently needed my husband to explain himself before they finalize the papers and go forward. Got message on my voice mail saying they were looking for a "relative" named Annette Little (I have no such relative by that name) and that this "relative" had given my name as a contact. The guy says for me to tell "Annette" that she needs to contact him about a "serious legal matter" at 888-546-5164.
