I like this caller. They make me feel good about myself. I just wish I could understand why they won't give me there number to call them back at there house?

I just called the number back and it's a computer automated message asking if you want to be added to their 'do not call list'. It takes about 30 days to take effect, but I no longer receive their calls!

Now what I would like to know is how do these marketing companies get my CELL PHONE number...??? It is not listed anywhere... as far as I know there are no phone books for cell phones...

Looks like a fraud company. They mentioned that they will give you the equifax report without any fee. Be cautious of what they're asking!

The only way I found to stop these calls was to call the company direct. I was told it would be about 48 hours. Lets hope this is true!!

Just to lete eberyone know. ICT is a "partner" of ROGERS...so the very people that you are PAYING are the same people annoying you!  They've SOLD your information. I went through this with them about 6 months ago...and since tod them to stick my contract up their a** and went to bell.  You want an end...do the same!

I live in the BC interior and keep getting this call as well, but never pick up.  I hope they're getting frustrated :)  
Besides I like the sound of my ringtone - it's Jamaican samba, and I feel like dancing whenever I hear it!

solution for now, set a ring-tone that u love to listen, then when these cowards call, just dont pick up and listening to yr fav music :)

I've also just register my number into National Do not call list and filed a complain on this number. Everybody need to do so too

I was recieving calls from 888-556-5140 several times a day.  When they finally answered I asked for them not to call again.  Now i recieve calls from 4160003316.  Has any one else got this number??????

The number called me at least twice a day for months.  It sould like the call is from ICT Group (I'm guessing as I'm hard of hearing).  Checked website of ICT Group for more info.

My phone nos. already registered to National Do Not Call List and filed a complaint against this nos. to National Do Not Call List.

If they all here the same song each time they call people, they will get a hidden secret message and they will know that this is NOT THE PERSON to call again. Do this with all companies that call you. Please play loud hard drumming from When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin.

Next time they call, leave some loud music on near the phone and say "HELLO!" and then say "HELLO!" and repeat this over and over again. After doing that, say "HELLO!" and then after that, say "HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!".

Continue doing this, but then after that, follow on and say "HELLO!" and then proceed to say "HELLO!".

Puisqu'il sais qu'il est en train d'appeler un numéro situé au Québec, pourquoi cet organisme n'utilise pas un gen qui parle le français?!

Been getting calls from this number at least once daily (sometimes 2 or 3 times) for several weeks now.  Sometimes I ignore it, sometimes I answer.  When I answer, nobody's there, but I bet if I wanted a few seconds somebody with a heavy accent would pick up and start trying to sell me something or get information from me.  I HATE being woken up, especially by some asshat I don't even know trying to sell me crap I don't want!!!

Why can't something be done?  Why, with technology so advanced now, can't I just push a "block this number" button on my phone, and that's that?  We EASILY have the technology to do that - it's extremely easy stuff.  The reason it hasn't been done, I fear, is that the phone company loves it when we get unsolicited calls, because they're BILLING US for them!  There's no motivation to fix this problem because the only person it's bothering is the customer.

And we all know that the customer has absolutely no rights.

I have been getting on and off calls from them for the last couple of weeks, and omg today I got SEVEN in a row! So I read some of your comments and decided to spam their site and boy, am I having fun. Everyone should send at least 20 random messages to this company telling them 'i don't like spam, neither do you, so why don't you stop calling me?'

I got several phone calls from this number and they said RBC visa card. And the lady talking to me on the phone was so annoying. She kept asking me to say 'yes' to confirm the stuff she was offering.

This is marketing company (ITC?) calling on behalf of credit card companies. They're selling a credit card identity theft protection service. Just tell them you don't want their free credit report. If you agree it's a 15.00/month - and you physically have to opt out later. SAY NO! And yes, you can call them back and press 1 to be added to the 'don't call list'.

this company kept calling and calling me but never left a message finally i did get to speak to someone. he was offering me a service to be able to check my credit report and score for about 14 dollars a month.I asked him how they got my number , he replied that either the royal bank of canada had sold them, or given them, i didint fully understand.They only had my name and address which seems strange if they had my info from the bank. The company name is ICP but didnt say what it stood for. any ideas?

I get those calls frequently. I'm in Quebec City. I pretend I don't speak English and they hang up. Sometimes they call late in the evening. It annoys me. They are marketing companies. They call many people at once and they catch the first fish who answers. So if they don't talk right away when you answer the call, hang up!

Called three times this afternoon.  Calls started once a day on Jan. 8th, now calling ever more frequently.  Gonna try SMS texting these words:  

"I (name) of ### ### #### do not consent to being contacted by phone, please remove my number from the current or any phone list."  

We'll see of that works

-Hi, can I speak with "xxxxx"?
-Yes?
-I'm calling from ICT Group on behalf of Royal Bank. Is this a good time to talk?
-Yes
-Our call will be recorded for both our security.
-Ok
-I can't hear you well. Can we call you another time?
-No. What is this about?
-We don't  hear you. Would saturday be a good time to call back?
-No. I can hear you very well. What is ICT?
-We'll have to call you another time because we can't hear you.

I called RBC to let them know that a company is calling on their behalf.

I think it's a marketing group... then again, could be a fraudulent call also!

And to all of you who's spamming their voicemail: spam them on my behalf too! I have no time to spend on the phone and spam people's voicemail! You guys should consider a more effective action that will benefit more than just your own self! What if it's a fraud call? What if it's not even from ICT Group and their name is being misused??

And if it is ICT Group, what's the point of spamming them? If you're in Canada, complain to the CRTC. They can be fined for a few thousands of dollars.

I got this number quite a few times already. They usually call, ring once, and hang up. I was ok until they called this morning at 3:30am! Still no one said anything though. Anyone with success to block out these numbers?

888-554-5140 called my house 5 times from 10:21am,11:06am,11:56am,12:35pm, and 1:42 pm, these people need a life if they are calling so often leave a message on my voice mail. 5 times in just over 3 hours is this not harassment, if you have something to say leave a message.

Why did ctrc spend money on a do not call list program that does not work....

Received a call from this number 3 times today.  No answer on the end.
