Calls only at night in 20-30 minute intervals, hangs up before phone can be answered, annoying... getting phone calls up to 10 or later at night is frickin ridiculous.

SCAM: They say they're a collections agency working for Capital One - they have no reason to call me. I think they're a phone phishing attempt to get people to give up their credit card account info.

we were called several times, and they were looking for someone named Wilson, after my wife told them there is no such person in our home, they still called us and left a voice message and ask us to call them back at 1-866-915-5210.  I called them back, and the phone line was busy, and keep me holding.  in the mean time, they never announce their company name.  I am just going to ignore this voice message.

This phone number calls everyday and leaves this disturbing recording! I would like it to stop!

I AM ALSO RECEIVING AT LEAST ONE OR TWO CALLS FROM A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL CAPITAL ONE PRE-LEGAL DIVISON EMPLOYEE.This person is very un pleasent leaving mess that are very rude and threatning.i do have to pay for my phone bill.So far your company will owe me $24.33 for having to listen to these mess left for people i have no idea who also the last name he left for this person was so out of the ordinary, i cant understand his mess to well.due to the fact that he needs some customer service in taking care of his customers and the rudeness to me.i do not appreciate this ,i have left a mess on the company machine,this is my third time please asking you to research your client better,or listen when they give you info.i will ask you this last time my #480-628-8230 remove this number from your mistake or i will take further action in this matter very quickly.These messages do sound very important ,i do hope you get this matter taken care of so man can relax and double check your paper work so this does not happen to him or the next victim of harrasment .i do have another #fom the same onry man.

I called back this unfamiliar number.  They said they were Capital One prelegal dept.  They said my info wasnt in their department anymore and transferred me.  They gave me a number to call in case I was disconnected. There was some kind of garbled thing about leaving a message.  I called the number they gave me and waited thru the prompts for an operator.  After a bit a message came on that the office was closed and to call back.  Well... I had given them my cc number so I called back the CapOne number and this time I entered my cc number and got an operator immediately.  I told her what had happened and since there was no issue with my account there would be no reason for anyone from CapOne to be calling to collect a debt.  She figured they assumed I wouldnt call back immediately if they were collecting a debt, but I did.  We cancelled that credit card.  Hope they shop fast.  They had less than 8 minutes.  So I called them back and asked who they were and they said again they were the pre legal department for Capital One.  I told them I thought they were scamming me so Capital One cancelled my card.  They said I could think what ever I wanted.

Call your phone company and have a incoming call block put on your phone or purchase a Dititone PrivacyCall Blocker which works better that the phone company.  Phone company limits the numbers of call blocked and with all the different 800 numbers coming in it fills fast.  With call blocker you block all 800 type numbers with just one entry.  For you peace of mine it is will worth the investment.  800 incoming get sent to LaLa Land.

They stated they were the "pre-legal department" of Capital One when I returned the eroneous call. It seems they can't even get the numbers right - I don't have a Capital One account nor have I ever!

They started at 7:32 A.M. and then at 7:38 A.M. went to Unknown Caller and back and forth between the two every five minutes.

So-what did you eventually do witb them after ALL those calls~!?

They have called about two to three times an hour all day today.  I am only home due to sickness and this is ridiculous!   I even picked up once but there was a long pause and I hung-up.

I received about 7 calls before 12:00pm today!!

this number calls my house constantly and never leaves a message

It might be a collector for Capital One.
