They called me last week and 5x today. Rep said my account is fine, no issues. Said it's probably a scam with a poofing app. I told them I'll try to get info next time I miss the call

I received the same call and found out from Comcast customer service that this is their risk management dept. So if you did receive a call them, call them back. They were able to see that my network was infected and either one of my computer's had a virus or someone hacked into my wireless net work. They recommended me to run a full scan on my antivirus and down load a free version of malwarebytes.org and to also change my password on my wireless router. This last weekend my debit card someone got a hold of the number and was using it but it was never lost or stolen. Now I know this is how they were able to get a hold my information. I had to shut my cards down. This sucks but glad that Comcast caught it.

Said I'm going over my call minutes and was trying to get out of me on specifice phone number, also says Comcast will shut my phone off if this continues

I first got the email.  Properties in email tab revealed from hayaly1@comcast.net.  My computer (they say) is infected.  This phone number was listed.  I think this is dangerous hacking attempt.

800 comcast is the fake hacker number. Comcast is 1800xfinity

This is Comcast's network abuse department. If you are getting a call from these people, you (or someone in your household or company) have either done something bad, or you have a virus infected PC on your network.

Keep getting calls from this number. Not certain it actually is COMCAST security because when I call 800-COMCAST they've never heard of the number. They have never tried to contact me by email, which seems suspicious as well.

Call says from COMCAST and gives me ticket number.  I call COMCAST off my statement and they don't know #.  Get more calls, I must call or risk cutoff.  My COMCAST no such jeopardy exists. Now Comcast truck pulls into and out of my driveway ... what is going on?
