I have a charge of 5.95 on my credit card and all it has as a description is "Fitness Aid", with this bogus phone number and the words "Main Street".
It has to be a hacker that got my credit card number from where I order movies, books, clothes, etc., off the internet.  I am going to dispute this transaction and refuse to pay. I know it is a small amount, but multiply it by 10,000 or more and someone is scamming lots of our money.

I have two charges of 5.95 each on my credit card, a month apart (in May And June) with this phone number and the only other information is: Fitness Aid.  I have no clue what it's about, but a week ago, I saw two additional unauthorized charges from Skype.com (I've never given my credit card info to and which I've hardly ever used their free service) on the same credit card.  So I reported all 4 charges as stolen.  I have tried many times to call 1-888-571-0987 in the past month but it's always an unworking number.

Sure they take one set of charges off and run up some others, then you have to find out what number to call for that one, and the next one, and so on.

YOU ARE BUYING POISON FROM CROOKS.  What do you expect???

Add'l.info.re. Fitness Aid. When you order something "free," a marketing company, in this case Fitness Aid, gets a fee, FROM YOUR ACCT., for the service.  This continues monthly until you cancel with the "free trial sample" company.  Your credit card company dispute dept. knows all about it and will remove the charges immediately. :))))))

Responded to article in Danville, IL newspaper and ordered tooth brighteners online.  Smile Bright, aka Natural Clean, and Fitness Aid are all parts of the same scam, and the following three numbers reach the same rat hole(if they will answer)-- 877/604-2117; 877/838-7121, and the number listed by Betty above, 888/223-5167.

Charges per mth are $85.37 from Smile Bright/Natural Clean; and $6.82 from Fitness Aid.

Firmness (threats of dispute, publicity, consumer advocacy) resulted in agreement to totally refund....we'll see.

Dazzle White does the same thing at $58.76 per mth.

I received 2 charges on my bank statement because I too order Reservtrol and another product which the adviertising is using Dr. Oz and Oprah to grab the attention of the intereted party.  I ordered in April, recieved and disputed the charge of $85.26 for products I did not receive or order.  This is just a big hox to get peoples money without services.  I hope Dr. Oz and Oprah finds out about it, because this company is getting rich.  I have been sitting on the phone for at least 1/2 waiting for someone to answer.  I checked with my bank and the only way these charges will stop is if I cancel my card and have a new card# issued.  I'm going to do what I have to do.  Can you image the amount of revenue this compnay scams everyone out of every month.  The FEDS need to be brought in on this scam!

I just received my Visa bill and there are 2 charges, each for 5.95.  One is for June and the other for july.  also a .17cents charge by the same number-888 571 0987.  These are bogus charges and i am having Visa investigate for me.  We may have to get the law involved in this.

I got charged too.  It is in the fine print after you click "Terms" way down in the bottom margin....where I ordered Resveritrol pills (and since have cancelled).  It goes something like this... "whether You cancel Your Free Trial in a timely fashion or not, You will be responsible to pay the shipping and handling charges associated with Your Product (currently ranging between $3.95 and $5.95, depending on the Product ordered). You agree that we can charge Your credit card for this amount, and You agree to pay such amount regardless of whether You cancel Your Free Trial in a timely fashion or not. No refunds will be issued for shipping and handling charges".

Thank you for posting the phone number and information - I had the same mysterious charge when I thought I had cancelled it.  It turned out that I had cancelled the product - but the had a "health plan tracker" that needed to be cancelled as well.  Sneaky - arent they?

Thanks for taking the time to post!

I suggest you go back to the website you ordered the product from, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the Terms and Conditions.

What does it say there?

Usually these free sample offers also include a membership - autoship of more product based on your approval when your order the trial sample.  Sometimes you have to click on "I agree" others have it that by processing the order you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

By law they are required to disclose these fees and rely heavily on the consumer not reading them first.  If they did - they would never order it the free trial to begin with.

They are also impossible to cancel once they get your account info, they just keep charging.

In April I signed up for a trial of Green Tea and Resipro.  The Fitness Aid is the same company and adds the Fitness Aid 888 to your card.  I finally got a phone number from my bank and got the company.  I have cancelled all of this but I'll have to wait and see if they really did cancel it.  The phone no. is 1-888-223-5167.  Good Luck

I have had two charges from 8885710987 -Fitness Aid 888.  One was in May and the other just this month.  My bank tells me the only way I can stop this is to change my card.  That's a big inconvience to me and they can't tell who is charging this.
