Got nothing but static when they called.  No fax tones or anything.  Called number but it just said to leave your number to be removed from the list.

called the number back from a land line.  Message said if you want to be removed from their FAX line, press #

Oh my gawd!  These people (888-575-1248) might as well just stab me and get it over with.  I receive several of these calls throughtout the day.  Is it correct that 800 and 888 prefix numbers end up charging us, the caller, when the phone is answered?  If that's the case, our answer machines are picking up the calls and we're being charged.  Our callerID shows we receive close to a dozen 800, 888 and UNAVAILABLE calls during the day.  The first call usually starts about 8:10 a.m. and continues tfor about 12-13 hours.

I received a call at 6:00 pm EST today.  Automated person on the other end.   It finally said that "oh, sorry, my mistake" and hung up. I am on the do not call listing, updated my phone# just recently.

received a call from 888-575-1248 last night, well I called back and the numbers rings like a wrong touch call.  We should never answer no calls from any number we don't know this way they probably will stop calling people when there is no answer their business will go done the drains.  I hope.

LeSenza telemarketing re a sale coming up - have a card with them but didn't realize that they would call.....gotta get off the phone list.

I've never answered their calls, but they never leave messages.  I almost never answer toll-free calls.

Received a call at 2:11 Central today.

wanted credit card number and social to "get a better rate on card". once found out that i worked at same bank. hung up

just got a call from this number.never left a message..so annoying!!!!

Unauthorized prerecorded telemarketing calls are illegal. Report them to the FCC here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

Earlier this year, I was being inundated with prerecorded telemarketing calls. After learning that such calls are illegal, I decided to report each call to the FCC at the link above.  After a few weeks, the calls completely stopped!

They left a voicemail, and apparently it is a call from Democratic people on behalf of Bill Richardson. At least this is what the automated voicemail said...

Just got a call from this number, but didn't answer. Figured it was crap, and I guess I was right.

Auto system tells you it's an important call regarding your credit card account- to lower intrest rates press 1. FIVE TIMES I have requested to be removed from their call list. This time the guy says "Did you press 1 to lower your intrest rates??" NICELY I said "Actually this will be my 6th request to be removed from you call list" and he responded- Alright, we will call you tomorrow and hung up on me. We should be able to sue these jerks!

the number calls me .....hesitation......chose to talk and find out why they called me and was hung up on.......give me a name i will travel to the place and deal with it.   anybody know who they are?

Im getting faxes from this number,  I believe someone with HSBC retail services put me on a mailing list when I called them to TRY and resolve a problem.
