Calls more than once a day, never leaves a message, in defiance of the do not call listing.

Very annoying repeat calls. We are on the do not call list. I will join a class action suit to stop this criminal lack of respect for laws.

I was duped by someone calling from this number. She mumbled something, I said "what?" and she said "cape cod times?" and I (politely) said "yes" (as in "continue...") and she promptly said "thank you" and hung up! I tried to call back and only got 3 options, none of which was to speak with someone. SO I left a message to call me back or hear from my lawyer. I DON'T EVEN LIVE HERE!! And I know this phone is on the national DO NOT CALL list. Robbery!

This phone number (888) 576-8475 calls me at least three to four times a day!!! I picked up and no one answered on the other line. Weird... We all need to make a formal compliment because this is a harassment regardless...

It's not the newspaper calling. It's a third party calling center. They will NOT stop calling even if you change the number and some poor fool gets your old number. If you move to India and keep your number in service they will continue to call. It's not the person's fault who is calling you, it's their bosses.

That is why third party companies are hired so there's no accountability.

There are two ways to get off the list. Subscribe (not a bad deal if you want it) or insist they cease and desist. Even if you change the number we will continue to call whatever fool gets your old number. Stupid, I know but it's how they've stayed in business for many years...yes, I'm looking for more honest employment.

It's not magic. You need to let the FTC know they are calling you.

They aren't going to stopped until Johnny Law stops them.

Have been getting calls for a month or 2.  Usually twice a day,  sometimes once a day,  ( think machinery must have broken dowm last week,  since I received none....  hooray!)  I programmed their number into my phone as "XXYYZZ" so I know it's them.  Way easy to ignore...  just sayin'.  Good luck, all!

Sorry for the multiple copies.  I was having trouble with my internet and it seemed my message was not posting. I tried again.... well you get the idea.  It was not intentional.

It's time for us to go after McClatchy Newspapers, down at The Bee headquarters on Q St.  They hired these idiots, and they are the only ones who can stop them.  I'm sure I am on the list because I recently cancelled my subscription.  Feel free to message me if you happen to go to the FREE online version of the Bee.  I post messages on a lot of the law enforcement news stories, so you should see me there. I post as PatThePI and that's what I do for a living.  I can learn enough about them to make someone at the Bee reconsider their ill advised use of this company.

Annoying calls start in am and again early evening.
Sacbee (newspaper in  area) sales  calls  daily too after i told
Rep " no way" several days ago. No customer finesse whatsoever.
Abuse is a more appropriate adjective for their style of business.

Getting calls at least 4 times per week

I would never post my number here, for any reason, because you never know who reads these comments, hoping to fish around for another number to add to their "let's call someone and frustrate them a bit" list!!

Call from that number trying to sell me a subscription to our local newspaper. already get the paper but the woman was pleasant and said she would mark it down. One of the many telemarketing companies with multiple clients they call for?

It's the North County Times.  I have tried everything to get them to stop.  Time to visit their office and have a little face time with someone.

Get  call every day

I get calls from this number every single day, at all times of the day and evening. I never pick up. Whatever happened to the Do Not Call registry we all signed up for???

When I find out what they are selling specifically, I will wage war against this company.  They call me multiple times a day and at all hours.  I just registered with the do not call list, but I may really lose my patience before 30 days.

This number calls me 3 times a day on average...i called them back and said what they ask to be off of their call list...they still call me every single day...tried to get the number blocked of my phone but my phone carrier does not block numbers and told me to do the national do not call list ...did that...they still call me...ever single day

Here it is, two months later, and these boneheads are STILL calling.  They did the "call both numbers at the same time" trick THREE TIMES today.  I'm going to find their mailing address and send them a Cease And Desist letter via certified mail.  I'm SO done with them...my next step is to lodge a formal complaint.
