This call came in at 8:23 pm to my business line. There was no message, just 30 seconds of background hiss.

They keep calling me all the time on my cell phone.  I answer and the line goes dead.

I have received this call several times within the past few days on my cell phone. I do not answer calls for which I don't recognize. No messages have been left.

I also don't answer calls on my cell when I don't recognize the number.  No msg was left.

This number WILL NOT stop calling my cell phone. I don't answer becasue I dont know the number but they are calling at ALLL times day and night. Its getting annoying!

I am getting two to three calls from this number...I never answer, but it is very annoying as this disrupts my day everyday...How do we get removed from this list we are apparently on?

I don't answer numbers I don't know either, and they have yet to leave a message after calling every day for several days.

Just started getting calls on my cell phone from this number yesterday.  I let it go to voice mail, but they do not leave a message.  My cell phone number is on the DNC list, and I do not give it out for business purposes.

USE A SILENT RINGER ID.  I added this number to my Address Book and assigned it a Silent Ringer ID.  This way when they call, at least the phone does not ring.  Oddly enough, I received a call from the number just 5 minutes after I assigned the Silent Ringer ID to it.  I had the cell phone sitting out on the table in front of me while working on the computer, otherwise I would not have known that they called.

i keep receiving calls from this number with no one there.  i finally stopped answering the calls.  this has been going on for several months.  very annoying.

This number calls me day and night, everytime I try to answer it....He/ she hangs up. I receive calls from this number 1 888 577 4103 for the past 2 months. It is getting annoying.

Receive calls from thes folks repeatedly.  Have asked multiple times to be removed.  It is Discover Financial.  Asked for a previous office manager by name - he hasn't been in this office for many years, had transferred to another office across the country, and finally left the company a couple of years ago.  

I called back on the 1-888-577-4103 number and after holding for a long time with no ring or anything, a chick came on the phone.  She asked for my name.  Then she said the number I was calling from didn't show up on her list.  I gave her my company's MAIN dial in number (we have several outgoing lines) she then said "Is Keith your husband?"  I said NO, he hasn't been here for a number of years, please stop calling.  She hung up on me then.  

I am going to pursue this with the FTC.  I'm not sure they will do anything about these annoying telemarketing calls to businesses, but will send my complaint anyway.

lol yes that is discover business card...i prank called them everyday and now they changed their number because of me....

I hope i dont Jinx this.I have not had a call since JAN 5th.His anyone else had the calls stop?I hope this has ended.I hope this is true!!!!

Continue to receive calls from this number since October. long delay in answering from auto dailing, sometimes no one answers at all.  Claim to be from Discover business services. We have asked them to stop calling.

Yung that is terrible news.I think i may cancel my discover card because of this.I am so upset over this!!!!!

SINCE DEC 19TH AND TODAY IS JAN 5TH I HAVE HAD 11 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
I have my cells ringer off at night and i wake up to 2 missed calls and one was at 2 in the morning from this number.
I have had 24 calls from this number since the start of this about 2 months ago.I have answered 3 times and no one has ever been on the line.Now i just ignore it.BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS GARBAGE.

I finally answered after over a month of calls from 888-577-4103. There was a recording which stated it was a telemarketing call from Discover Financial, and to call 800-767-7331. I called the 2nd number, and a curt lady answered, identifying herself as from Discover. I told her that I had been receiving numerous calls from the 1st number, and I asked to be taken off their list. She asked me if I was a current Discover customer, and I stated I was. She then ASKED ME FOR MY DISCOVER CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

Mind you, I have a Discover Card, and I have never been asked this information before by a rep. I told her that I did not trust giving her my card number, and she asked how else was she going to remove me? I told her I was going to call the Discover customer service number, and she told me to go ahead.

I called the Discover customer service number (800-347-2683), and the rep on the phone said their records indicated that no one from Discover had contacted me. I asked to be forwarded to their fraud department, and she did. I gave this information to their fraud rep, since I suspect this to be a phishing scam.

888-577-4103 -multiple calls per week - claims from Discover.  Reported to Verizon to try and stop from their end as well.

many calls 3-4 a day. "discover card"  always screen calls, no messages left on machine- just static.

After several nuisance calls from 888-577-4103 I finally talked to a person there and asked them to remove me from their calling list.  I reminded them I was on the do not call and they could be fined heavily.  They replied they would remove me.  After a few months, their routine nuisance calls started again.  No messages, no answer.  Someone needs to cut the their phone service off.  FCC where are you???  How long does the public have to put up with this nuisance??

I've been getting their call for a few months.  When I do answer the call the phone goes dead.  They are calling my cell phone.  They have never gotten through to talk to me.  I called back once and talked with someone and they tried to give me a discover card or something.  It is so annoying.  I told them to quit calling me and he got rude and hung up.

I am documenting every call from now on.

started receiving calls from this number a couple weeks ago, they asked for me but told them they had the wrong number, two weeks later, get another call from the same number.  When i asked who was calling she rattle of her name but not where she was calling from then asked for another Financial decision maker, I said there is none.

I've been getting a minimum of 3 calls a day for 2 weeks. I've contacted them and filed a complaint with the FCC. I did notice that the number of calls I receive increased after I contacted them to take me off their call list. Anybody want to get in on a class action???

I have received 13 calls to my cell phone over the past one week!! They don't leave messages, and I tried answering a couple of times - so i could tell them to stop calling - but there was only dead air!

They kept calling and calling, never leaving a message. The first time I picked up, the woman asked to verify my information- which was very annoying, sounds like a phishing scam. I told her to take my name off of her list and not call me, but she kept rambling on with her script!

I went to Discover website and left a post with the phone number asking if it was fraudulent. I received a reply two days later that its a valid number, and then outlined all the details of the card as if I were interested!

They kept calling. I made the next woman who called agree to take my name off the list, as she seemed like less of an idiot than the first person, and then fired off another post to Discover inquiring why I'm getting these phone calls and why they don't stop!

The answer: Discover hired a third party telemarketing service. They don't leave messages. They are slow - 2 to 3 weeks to be removed from their system. So its not really Discover calling, just some idiot getting paid minimum wage on behalf of Discover. At least they haven't called for a week now.

been rec calls on my cell phone called back said they where discover card business finacial. i told to quick calling me and put me on do not call list wanted my home address phone number and all personal information and when i would not give to them they got irrate and informed me if i wanted them not to call had to give me info. so hung up and called discover fraud dept and filed info with fcc.

STOP CALLING. Calls like 2 times a day.
