Received a txt on my cell from "notice@atmail17.tmomail.net//" informing me that my "...Farmers and Merchants account is closed due to unusual activity, call us now at 1-(888)-578-2494" I do not have an acct at F&M but I called anyway. The recording said that it was a security dept of F&M and I was to input my 16 digit acct # which I of course could not do. I hung up and called a local branch of the bank and explained what had happened. I was told that it was a phishing scam and that it was a good thing that I didn't have a card # to enter. The bank lady took all the info and thanked me.
