its the dialer, sometimes when returning a call if you take too long to say hello and state the company you work for and ask how you can help them it will disconnect automatically.

I called this number back again and this time century link answered the phone. The sales agent said that he was not an outbound representative even tho the call came from the same number. I told him to remove me from the sales and promotion list.

This number called me but when I answered there was complete silence. Then I heard a beep like I was being recorded then the phone call disconnected. I tried calling the number back but it said the call could not be completed as dialed.

Been calling every day for last 2 weeks, different times of the day, after saying hello, caller disconnects.

Called and I have no idea who or what they are.

These people are constantly calling me and asking if I want to lower my interest rates on credits cards I don't even have.  My number is on the do not call list so this is a violation.

Who is calling me?  If I answer, no one speaks even though I can hear someone on the line. If I don't answer, they leave no message.  I suspect this is a collection agency.  I am not the person they are after, but they don't care.  They get paid by the number of times they call to harrass.  Why isn't this illegal?

I get calls from this number at 8 in the morning and after 9 at night.  I have caller ID and do not answer the phone because I know from posted messages from others that these are telemarketing calls.  I am on the National No Call list.

I have registered a complaint with the No Call Registry about calls coming from this number.  I would suggest that everyone else do the same anytime there are unsolicited calls invading your privacy!

Have filed complaint with Do Not Call Registry but calls keep coming.  I am not the person they are looking for. How do you stop this harrassment.

This number is constantly calling.  I finally answered and they had the nerve to just hang up.

I was getting calls from this number too before 9am and after 9 pm. no one on the other end, just an open line.

This is a sales call from Century link...advertising their "new" Direct-TV service.
If they are calling you then you are probably one of their telephone customers, and they are allowed to call you.
Call them back and ask to be removed from their sales list.
