Yesterday I made the guy (Mark) spell out the company's name (SBCS) and the company that transferred the debt to them ( Dendrick Capital Partners) and the website (SBCS.inc.com) Cannot find ANY of the parenthesized names on Google. I informed "Mark" that I have reported the phone number and company name to the BBB, at which point he finally seemed to understand that I wanted to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list. Sorry for everybody! This has been going on for over four months for us, can't imagine how many people they are harassing!

This number has called 8 times to my cell phone over the past few days. I block all 800 type calls. If one gets through, I deny it and then add to my call blocker blacklist. Thank goodness for smart phones and call blocking apps. They have never left a message.

The TV show Anderson just talked about FAKE debt collectors who get your info and harass you to pay them even if the debt is settled. After seeing that, how do we know if a debt collector is legit? I have never paid a debt collector and have only paid the original company that I owed money. If they sell off the debt then I will never pay it unless I get overwhelming evidence that it is legit. It is unfortunate that I had money problems years ago but with all the scams in the world, I can't afford to give up what I have now to a fake debt collector.

One problem.. I never went there and my loans have been paid off for 4+ years..

I said m'am you have been misinformed I do not owe any loans except for my car.
She said I am informing you now you will have to pay and I will keep calling you until I get resolution.
I said take this resolution : Offer this to Pheonix. Have them call me or better yet let me read over the letter from them hiring you to collect this debt.. That is part of the speel in the begining. I have a right to all debt correspondance regarding this matter....

These fools waste their time in calling me in Texas on an old credit card account that is 4 years past the 4 year statue of limitation we have here in Texas. Also, Texas protects its citizens from blood suckers like these junk debt collectors. So basically, I have no reason to pay up yet they keep calling. That is not working smart. But we all know that these people are not too bright. In fact, they are most drug addicts with bad credit working in these call rooms. Working on a road to nowhere fast....LOL.

I reluctantly answered, it said to please hold for an important call, a woman came on the phone a assumed I was 'Valerie' and weent on talking about some Fleet account this person had about 10 years ago. I asked who the heck this was I was talking to because she just started talking real fast. I told her I didn't know what the hell she was talking about and her reponse was "Well let me refresh your memory, you had a $4k debt that you have a moral obligation to pay my client" and I said ma'am, you have the wrong person and her response was that this debt wasn't going away... LOL
Wow, really lady? I'm sure she will continue to call my cell phone now, it's illegal for debt collectors to harrass people in Colorado.

I to am in the same situation with APX. They go my wife to sign a contract for two years and I find out it is a five year contact in very very small lettering. What a slim company. Wont pay it either. Now they have this slim company calling me twice a day.

Told them I was on the do not call list, and the creep said that he wasn't selling anything so it didn't pertain to him.  So, I told him I'd just have to block him then, and did just that!!

Keep getting calls from this company.  Every time I answer, there's nobody on the other end.  I'm on Do Not Call list, so this company is definitely non-compliant!

Received a call, answered promptly, there was just silence on the line; called back, party was identified as "SBCs, a financial servicescompany," told me thay were trying to collect a debt to T-Mobile...I never had any relationship with T-Mobile; and don't need the aggravation!

Calls several times a day.  Never leaves a message.  Will never answer unless I know who they represent.

They just called me about a home owner bank or something. They got my last name wrong but got my first name right. They said I owed $6k on a honda civic. At first I guessed a simple wrong numberl, but this is the first time I have gotten a call from them.

The outfit is NOT SBCS. It is FBCS, Federal Bond and Collection Service, not affiliated with any government agency. They slur the initials making it hard to understand them. I do not believe I owe the debt they are trying to collect. It's from a sleezy burglar alarm company called APX in Utah. I called to tell them I couldn't afford their service any longer. They said, too bad. You have a contract. Pay up. I removed their equipment and tried to give it back to them. They didn't want it. They just wanted the money. Well, it had been busted for 6 months. They didn't even monitor it to test it's condition like the legitimate companies do. So, I don't figure I owe them a thing. Never sign  a term contract for these things. If they want your business bad enough, they'll let you have it on a monthly basis. Otherwise, if you lose your job and can't pay, they'll hound you forever. As I said, sleezy businesses. This is my opinion. I'm entitled to it.

These folks need to be tracked down and bugged every day, in the same manner they bug us.

Call every other day and leave no message.  Called back and talked to a rep asking for "Tracy Edgeton".  Have seen this name in other posts.  Told them to remove me from calling list. They sounded non-compliant and asked if this was Tracy. At that point I hung up.

I had a number of calls from this number too. When I asked who was calling they would hang up. I called the number and got my number off the list. Just a piece of advice! Good luck!

My husband called the number back and they denied call. I just received another one and answered and they asked for a person that is not even me.
