I also had the same thing happen today, and when my wife checked our account she saw that they already took out 100 dollars. And she was PISSED! I then called to cancel and they also told me I wasn't in the system yet. Thank you for the info., gonna try other number tomorrrow before I have to start sleeping on the couch.

I had this issue. thought it sounded like a great deal. just called to cancel and they kept trying to get me to lower my payments and stick with it. finally i got angry and told her i wanted the whole thing cancelled altogether and she told me she cancelled it and the money would be put back into my account in 7-10 business days. i could not believe they took money out of my account before the magazines started arriving. that is the last time i sign up for anything.

same thing happened to me i actually gelt privileged that i was in a drawing and the person who spoke with me sounded so professional these guys are good so just be careful. I ended up giving my information but due to insufficient funds they founded take out any money because they kept getting denied. I hope this will keep them off my back for now till i can cancel i called 877-667-1459 to cancel they didn't have my info in the system yet but they should be able to assist me.

They called me and told me they are from Dream ceom true sweepstakes and I being dumb stayed on the line and answered some questions now I'm worried they will mess with my information and bill me. They told me to call back monday or tuesday

I got the same call it look like a real bargain since I love magazines and dumb enough of me I gave them my credit card #  and all of that, next thing you know they were charging me 68.38 a month. HELL NO! but I was able to cancel it by calling this number 877-667-1459 and they right away canceled it and told me the money was gonna be put back in my account in the next 7-10 business day!

I got a call yesterday they said I won a drawing and sweet talked me into some magasines and a watch and 68.28 out  of my account. I gave them the info and they said I could cancle at anytime. When I called the number they gave me they said that I was not in the system. When I checked my account they had already taken out 68.28 and several time had taken out 1.oo. I found the real number online and it took alittle bit but got it cancled.

They offered me the same prizes and I got really suspicious! I fumbled and gave them the wrong credit card number. They didn't ask for my social security number though...

YES!!!! The same thing happened to me yesterday!!! Luckily after talking to them for a while I realized it was a scam. I told them i didn't want to pay for anything and they kept avoiding answering me. They said the whole thing 4.99 weekly and all that crap. And they wouldn't cancel my order and the order number was like c-508 or something. The thing is i never gave them my card info. They already knew my whole name, address, email and phone number but only told me that the first number on my visa card was 4, which is right so I cancelled both IMMEDIATELY after I got off the phone. So far no charges. Hopefully there won't be any. BTW, I work at a bank and you can get these funds refunded due to fraud. Go to your bank and see what they say!! :]

the same number called me and told me i am in a drawing for 25,000 a mustang and a trip to australia, they also told me i would receive a watch for free if i purchased magazines. i havent gotten the watch nor the magazines. im going to call them tomorrow and see whats going on.

Wow I just got a call like this. I'm usually skeptical about these things but was caught off guard when they called. They started talking about me winning some readers sweepstakes and a diamond watch but entered in for more $ for being a loyal credit card user. Then asked what credit card I had, I said mc coz its what I hav for debit. Then they confirmed my home address and while "waiting for information to load" asked me if I my age and if I was employed, I told him my age and that I had a paid internship. Then the guy said he was going to charge me $4/week and I stopped giving him info, saying that I'm only getting minimum wage (not the case). Thank goodness I didnt give any more info out! But wtf, he had my home address? Oh and he said "my name is earl, like the tv show". Lol

The guy called and said his name was robert. He said he was taking 68.00 from my account. I was shocked that he had my info. he said he would do it in two days. so i am calling hte bank to hold my account claosed.

Yeah... I had the same thing happen to me this week. I got a call on my cell phone from a restricted number are the guy was basically talking to me about magazines and wanting me to talk about myself. Before I knew it, I hadn't even said yes and I was already having an order put through (0_0) I am a younger guy, which seems to be a trend, and felt obligated to sign up. I did get promised to be put into a drawing to win all this cool stuff, but really didn't feel right about it. I gave them my debit info, like an idiot, and then was signed up. The scary part was it was even a 2 hours before I checked my bank account and saw they took money out!!! I was really pissed, to say the least, especially after they told me I would have 3 days to decide to whether or not I wanted to fully commit.

I got the call Monday morning and just today (Thursday) got to cancel it. It took so long to cancel because they gave me this number to call for cancellation: 888-583-9936. On Thursday I called and the lady was really nice to me and was really helpful. I had been told I wasn't in the system for the past few days and was trying not to sound like a prick on the phone. I told was offered the service on Monday for a magazine subscription and want to cancel and already saw charges to my bank account. She told me that the charges weren't from their company nor part of her company in any way because they don't offer any type of magazine subscription. She then proceded to tell me they get calls like mine frequently and gave me the ACTUAL, REAL, NONFAKE number to call that does offer those types of services.

The number she gave me was: 877-667-1459

After I got this number, these people found me in their system and I cancelled right away without anymore problems or delays. I HOPE THIS HELPS A LOT OF PEOPLE.

Same thing just happened to me guys, im a younger guy, they said i was entered into a drawing, promised a watch, and 6 magazine subscriptions of my choice. right when they asked for my credit card info i bs-ed that i was in the car driving and that i couldnt give them the info right now. the lady hung up immediately. close call.

I on the phone with my bank now and they've already too the money out of my account. Because I "authorized" it there is NO WAY I can get my money back. Im trying to protect myself from future transactions

The same happened to me about an hour ago. They surveyed me and then talked about a magazine subscription, sweepstakes, a new car, and a watch. I gave them my address, card #, and e-mail. I called the number a while after the call and I got the answering machine which said that their service hours were from 8:30- 5:30 mon-fri. luckily there was no money on the account for them to take already. They sweet talked me into continuing with the offer unffortunately.....

THEY CALL ME YESTERDAY AROUND 6 ON A 1-888-583-9936 NUMBER UNVAILABLE AND I TALKED TO THEM THEY TOLD ME I WOULD MOST LIKELY WIN A FORD JEEP $2500. I WAS HAPPY THAT SHE SAID MY NAME WAS PICKED ALSO SHE SAID ASK ME WHICH WATCH DO I WANT MENS WATCH OR LADIES WATCH I TOLD HER I PREFER LADIES GAVE HER MY INFORMATION. BUT WHEN I GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HER I CALLED THIS NUMBER BACK AND IT SAID THE THE HOURS THAT THEY ARE OPEN FROM TO CLOSE AND THEY CLOSE AT 5 P.M. They called saying I would be entered into a drawing for a bunch of things, and that I would be getting magazines and a watch.  I tried to call this number that they gave me to cancel and said I wasn't in the system.  I immediately called my credit card company, reported the card lost. The credit card company was very helpful, and I won't be charged.  If any charges show on my new account, the credit card company said they would take care of it.

I like an idiot did the same thing. Don't know what happend to me but i called today to tell them that I don't want anything to cancel and they didn't want to cancel because they said I had made a financial obligation to them and that they are obligated with the publisher. Now i feel really stupid and I don't want anything. I don't know what to do to get my money back for the magazines that I haven't received.

Good thing I'm poor cuz it looks like they couldn't get any money from my account. Its a pretty good scam,I played along cuz i was bored. The next day i reported my credit card lost, but now i have to go through hell to get a new one... Oh well, i didn't want magazines anyways.

I got a call from an unavailable number on Friday, Jan. 8th.  He told me I was being entered in the Dreams Come True Sweepstakes and i have the option of winning a cruise, a convertable, or $100,000. He said the drawing would be on July 15, 2009. It started with him asking me what my favorite credit card was, mastercard, visa, or discover. i have a visa so i said that. then he asked me my hobbies and what my age was. he told me he was going to send me 6 different magazines (Cosmo, psychology today, US weekly, and some others i forget) for only $4.99 weekly, and he also said he would send me a diamond ladies watch. I foolishly gave him my credit card information. He gave me this number (888-583-9936) to cancel my order and then he put me to a machine that gave me a tracking number of C-208 .. which is most likely b***s***. I got off the phone with him and knew right away that something was not right, so my dad transferred all the money in my account into his.  They have charged about $90 to my account so far and I am going to my bank tmrw to hopefully get everything squared away. When I called this number to cancel, the lady told me I was not in the system and that it usually takes 24 hours. When i called  back, 24 hours later I was still "not in the system", so this is a huge scam. I have not received a watch or any magazines in the mail yet.  These people are good, seriously.  They target a younger audience and trick you into giving them your credit card info, DONT FALL FOR IT like I did ...
