Ok so I get a call fom an unknow caller. He sounds Indian and he wanted to charge me $3.87. I told him over the phone this sounds like a scam, why is your number unknown, and I can't understand your accent. He told me he was U.S Financial and from the NJ federal government who gives out free loans to those selected, we went on and on. He told me they weren't a scam to talk to supervisor, than when I spoke to him I asked why they needed the money he kept saying good question, for your login and password. Than he told me I could use a giftcard and use the money for house, car, or school loans money the gov gives to help it free don't have to pay back. He kept asking master card or visa you have a relatives card, and I got suspicious. Everyone I spoke to had an indian accent. SCAM!!!!

she wanted to know what we were going to do with our 401k money we just recieved and when we asked her name she hung up on us really quick.

888-584-0883 is a suppose to be law office of that will not giver the office name or location. they are a very persistent group and call several times a month for several months now.  tomorrow i will call the Attorney Generals Office per my local police dept.

SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They tried to trick me into registering for a Grant.  And i've been out of school for nearly a year and haven't applyed for anymore grants.  Even though she said that it wasn't through the school.  It sounded to be an indian woman by the name of "Victoria Miller".  She kept insisting that she could give me money that i wouldn't have to pay for again.  Such as for all grants.  But the thing that tipped me off was that she asked for my expiration date and 3 digit code on "one of my credit cards."  Why would she just want one or my cards without specifying which one?  Watch out for this one guys!!

It is a scam!  Anytime they don't leave a message, they are not worth checking back with.  Any legitimate business or resident will leave a message.

keep getting calls from this number, today it was at 1:01pm friday september 30th2011 and they call again and again using a few very similar numbers almost daily and then hang up...this is annoying. I've tried looking the number up on the internet but the number can't be traced so I have to assume it's either some goverment organization or a criminal oranization( what's the difference? in something like this I 'm figuring.)       This began a few weeks after I began searching for online credit lines and not finidn any......so who do you report this kinda crap to exactly?

it is telemarketers wanting to give me a grant.. I have asked them several times to remove me from their database... that does not work.....

I got a call from this number. a man Jack. wanted me to pay $3.87 to get information for a Grant to purchase a home. Is this legitimate? Seem to be a scam to me. How can you get Grant Money for a home for just $3.87  Please advise

The call I got was  a credit card wanting me to work at home selling credit cards... Just a charge of 39.95 for the list... stupid people..they have called as late as 8:45 pm and 8 am on Sunday morning...

they call and said the i was approved for the grant money i applied for well i told them i never applied for it and then the yelled good bye!

This is of course, a call center. The sponsor of this call {V82516032600113} seems to be "Help you find a college" head-hunter. We have told them to stop. We don't want any. Remove our number. We are on the 'Do not call list'.
Get this; Today she told me that they CAN"T until we sign-up.

I have a tele-zapper and have just added the number to my new phone's blocker. We will see if that works for UNWANTED TELE-MARKETERS.

I keep getting calls from 888-584-0883. they ask for me with my name, then when i say yes, they hang up. Then the next day I get a call from the same number trying to tell me I have filled out info wanting a govt grant and they can help me get free money. I tell them no and take me off the list, then the cycle happens all over again.

Call the number back and it's out of service!! WTF this has to be harassment and be illegal. I am on the DNC list but they just don't give a crap. So tired of these people.

Last week i received a call from 8005840883 # and a lady asked forme by name she was was asking about what was i going to do with the grant, i couldnt understand her, i thought she was explaining what i could do with the grant...right there she raised her voice a bit then i expressed that i was not intetested in aplying for a grant, thereafter she yelled at me saying :"you know what forget it ok...forget it", and then she hanged up on me. I was apaweld and upset as i was i called back and gave them a piece of my mind. Now today...they called again. Oh and by the way the did the same to me about the $1.98 and after 10 days charging like $50 or $60 dollars to my acount. Just be carefull.

I have tried to file a grant to go back to school but I already have the information and I do not know how to make these people go away because I have told them that I have the information and I do not want them to call me back... So how do I get it to stop????

They call my cell and work number and when I answer there is no response or anyone on the line.

good grief, these people don't give up. visit one website and they have you.

I keep getting calls from 1-888-584-0883 several times a week on my cell phone.  There is never a message.  I want to put a stop to it.

This has been going on for years, apparently. Look how far back these complaints go. I just filed a complaint with do not call, since I am on the list. Obviously that does no good since these complaints go back 4 years and they are still calling people.
