Was contacted today on my cell phone and at work to call this number. Same old trash I've been hearing off and on for about a year now from various phone numbers.  When I told "Henry" I wanted his information in writing then I would see if I needed to do anything further, he told me I had an attitude and I should "wait and watch" what happens when they contact my employer.  As I proceeded to tell him my employer is aware of what he is doing already and knows this is a scam - he hung up on me mid-sentence.  I haven't reported any past calls to the Attorney General's office, BBB, or FCC in the past but I am going to this time.  My employer is aware of the situation, believes it is a scam, and I am working with them to try to curb interference at work.  It literally made me ill this morning and now I just mad as h... .

Prank Call
this is a scamming company. they set up payday loan websites so when you are applying, they obtain your information. then they call repeatedly to try and get you to give them money. they will use a scrambler and the phone number will show as several different numbers that belong to people or are not legit. i even had one guy go as far as to call me at 2 am and say he was coming to kidnap me to make me his wife!! report all calls to your local authorities, and call the credit bureaus and have a fraud alert placed.. this will flag your ss# so that any time a credit inquiry is made, the agency will have to call you to make sure that the inquiry is legit

they say things like "federal investigation" and that they are sending people to arrest you and that you have committed crimes in your past life.. anything they can to try and scare you, and if you respond, they get angry..

I have found that when asking them questions, they are not able to respond because they do not understand what i am asking.. one guy said i didnt know english.. ha! they are trained to read a script, so if they have to stray from that script, often times, they are confused..

EVERYBODY WHO IS GETTING CALLS FROM THESE PEOPLE, KEEP CALLING THEM BACK!
WHEN THEY ANSWER THE PHONE, ASK FOR DICK, WHEN THEY SAY DICK WHO-D****EAD.
CONTINUOUSLY CALL THEM- PUT THEM ON SPEED DIAL. IMAGINE HOW AGGRAVATED THEY WILL GET IF EVERYONE DOES THIS TO THEM AS THEY HAVE DONE TO US. BE AS RUDE AS YOU CAN- DEGRADE THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN- BE CREATIVE ABOUT IT. WHEN THEY START TALKING BACK, HANG UP JUST LIKE THEY DO. DON'T GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION OF ARGUING WITH THEM- THEY ARE SCUM!

We have been getting these phone calls as well. My husband started calling them back and asking them who they were and what their company name was. They would hang up on him and he would call them right back- just as they had done to us. He has been calling them many, many times a day and let them know that we know they are not legit. If everyone getting these phone calls from them were to do this, maybe they would get the point.

The caller had a strong indian accent and was very hard to understand. The message he left stated that I had been used as a reference on a friend or family members account and that I had to get them to contact this company right away. They said they would bring legal action against me if this friend did not contact them because I was listed as the reference and contact person. First of all, that is absurd! A reference or a contact person would never be responsible for someone elses debt if they did not sign saying they are responsible (which I did not). Second, this individual is someone that boarded in my home for a few years and I haven't spoken to for over a year and a half, at which time we parted badly. Why would he use me as a reference, knowing I would give him a bad reference? At the end of the call, the caller told me that "fish are good luck, and have a blessed day". All I can say to that is WTF!!!!!!

I haven't received a call since December...so they are harassing me again.  This is fraud...they called my work before and said they were a cop and harassed me.  What you need to do is tell them that this is harassment and that you are notifying the authorities and that they will not ever be allowed into the US.  That is what I did and calls stopped for a while.  I also added extra..I called them again and told them that I am with a firm representing so and so (which is me) and that I am reporting them to the terror division of the US.  Trust me...you have to do it.  If you don't you will get harassing phone calls where they talk about doing sexual acts to you.  It was a nightmare!  I had 80 + calls in a row at my work.  So do not call them from your work phone...call them from a random number and tell them you are with a firm.

And...now you use a fake messenging system that announces ..."THIS CALL MAY BE MONITORED FOR QUALITY AND SECURITY...PURPOSE".  Really??? Which American talks this way...???  What REAL company uses this type of message???  Do you remember the last thing you said to me when we spoke on the phone today?  You said that America is a big place and Americans are stupid people and you will never stop scamming them.  You even called me a F_cking B_tch.  Then, you turned off your phone immediately after.  How cowardly of you.  YOU DON'T HAVE A BACK BONE!!!  YOU'RE A SCARED LITTLE P**SY... We will have words again.  I wait for your next call.

Mike (not your real name...) you are clearly scamming people or attempting to defraud them.  Your game is one that you have been playing for years.  You setup a bunch of bogus payday loan sites on the Internet. When desperate unsuspecting people visit these sites and apply for loans...BOOM!  THERE YOU GO...you steal their information and start your scam.  You claim your client as CASH AMERICA LOANS which is a bogus company.  You claim you are from a legal department. You work out of a small room with other scammers.  You use names like Gary Foster, Steven Woods, The Law Office of Steven Woods...Jeffrey Myers and many others.  You will never succeed at your game.  You are no longer the hunter.  You are NOW the HUNTED!!!  You WILL be found and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  There is no ocean wide enough to keep the law from getting their hands on you and your posse.  RUN AND HIDE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE LIFE IN YOU.

These people are sick and really need to get their life together.  A guy, who said his name was 'John Matthews' called and left a message on my cell saying I need to call this 888-586-0485 number back ASAP or leagel action was going to be taken against me.  I called, he had all of my information and said to get a lawyer and go turn myself into the police.  Said I will have to go to court and everything, plus to make matters worse this man had all my information.  These people are crazy, and one day they will get caught because they believe they can't.  I was fooled by some other people like this and sent those a***oles like 700 dollars, all of them will have a downfall and I hope it comes to them real soon! Don't pay any money to anyone before you make sure they are from a true cmpany, and it is not hard at all to do! God bless all of you!

This is a question for "Mike".  If you are tryng to help resolve a payment or loan issue, why wont you a d your company send a proper email or mail a statement with proper documentation of when thyese supposed loan were requested?   If you and your company would supply thus information to your supposed clients, you might actually get some real responces from people

receiving same phone calls from a company said legal company their voice is looking from outside
dont pay any money to that scam company they are trying to extract money from your accountWell it's good to know that I'm not the only one that they have contacted. They actually called me and said you are going to lose your job, you need to contact a criminal attorney, we will send someone to your job to arrest you. Ummm hello I work for a law firm and in the United States you cannot be arrested for owing any type of monies which I do not recall. They won't give any information. They just keep saying have your attorney call. 4 different attorney's advised me that they are going about it the wrong way just to collect the debt, and they can be brought up on charges for harrassment, and fraud. I was advised to call the attorney general's office and the better business bureau to report them. Which I am going to do and suggest that everyone else does. The problem is companies are hiring people from outside of the United States to handle their business affairs and they are going about it the wrong way. When I get thru with the so called Criminal Investigations @ 1-888-586-0485 they will rethink on how to speak and approach consumers.

Received a threatening phone call from them today, they were dumb enough to swear and threaten me on my voice mail.  I already work in the communications industry, so Ive already contacted my state public utilities commission, attached a copy of the voicemail message.  Least that will help slow down the calls...
