They said they were from Surewest financial group

I get calls from this number all the  time including Sunday evenings.  I am on the "Do Not Call " list which is apparenty ignored by this company and does nothing if you complain anyway.

Received phone call - no one on other end spoke. Received several phone calls - caller won't speak or identify him or herself.

This has happened a number of times.

I have no idea who is making these calls.

Answering machine picked up - no message left.

This number calls me all the time and caller ID just says "unavailable".  I am on the "do not call" list and I want them to stop.

Calls and will leave Robo message about insurance products (we are a financial planning brokerage office).  Never stop calling, never stop leaving messages.  Have learned not to pick up.  They suck.

Annoying!!!!!!  Interruptive!!!!!  Disruptive!!!!!!!  STOP calling this business immediately!!!

Shurwest Financial Group is an insurance broker. They call licensed insurance agents all over the country, wanting you to sell products though them. However, I will not do business with brokers who Robo-call and have me answer only to "dead air"

Asking them to not call you is useless, because they don't care and wont stop. The problem with the DNC lists, is that since they are licensed to do business as insurance brokers in your state, they fall into a loop hole. (They should honor your request not to be called)  If not, they are not the professionals they profess to be.

Surwest Financial. Called me because I am insurance licensed in the state of Ohio. I am sick of the state selling my info to every company they can find. They wanted me to sell annuities for them, I told them to take my name off their list and never call me again. Also reported them to donotcall.gov. We'll see.

I didn't answer.

been told number would be removed from their lists, calls continue. Everyone please report these clowns to FCC.

They called my cell phone number (also registered on DO NOT CALL list, left me a recorded voice mail to return their call to answer "a few questions". They claim to be "SureWest Financial Group" who I have never heard of and have no business relationship with.

Spoke for 20 minutes to a Dean Miller at 888 593 7276 this morning.  Here is what happened on Friday.....I had applied for a job with a company in Ohio a week earlier.  I listed a gentleman as a personal reference.  He was called by this company, SureWest Financial Group on Friday - a message was left that he had been listed as a job reference for me and he was asked to call them back.  He called them and the only message was "they are not available" and to try call later.  I personally called my prospective new employer this morning and they denied calling (from the Scottsdale Area Code).  I called 480 423 0079 (number SureWest left to call back) this morning and got the same "not available" message.  An hour later, I called and a girl answered.  I explained the situation and she agreed to personally try the 480 423 0079 number....she came on the line and said that number was, in fact, linked to 888 593 7276.  She put me through to "Dean Miller".  After 20 minutes, I told him I would be contacting Quest Communications (area land line provider) and encouraged him to do so as well as he emphatically indicated his company did not leave the message, etc., etc.  HOWEVER, he did acknowledge (with name and phone number of my reference) they placed a call to him on Friday (my reference gentleman was in the financial advisor business).  This seems to be a scam; however, I am still perplexed about the message left with my reference friend they were calling about a job reference??????

I received a call from this number and did not pick up.  In the last few days I have been receiving calls from other 800 numbers and looking them up on this site to discover that they are phishing scams. I am on the do-not-call list (www.donotcall.gov) and have reported each number I have received a call from.  Don't know if this will stop them, but we'll see.
