Thank you everyone who has posted that this company is a scam. You just let me exhale after a nasty email from them!

They will not serve you, I have received this call about 2 months ago and again today. 2 months ago they told me I would be served and that they have filed a fraud civil lawsuit with the local authorities in my county.  Well we have access to everything that is filed against us in the state I live in, guess what no law suits are filed.  This time though they called me at work.  They also state that this is a payday loan from July 2008, I filed bankruptcy in 2009 and included all pay day loans that I had taken out in the last 10 years even if they were paid off, so they have no leg to stand on.  They are not legit.

I think you misread what Brans Mom said, she stated that most people pay them back after the 3rd or 4th payment because the interest is so large, she did not say that they were not paid back.  And she never said she had a payday loan.  You are out of line.

Unknown number on my cell phone's caller ID.  They left a message with this number saying I was being served tomorrow at my home or business, and that I should call them with any questions or concerns.  I guess I'll find out tomorrow if they really mean what they say.

They are stating that i consented a payday loan online in 2010. I never consented anything in 2010. I went to money mutual to see if i would qualify and now they are saying that i owe them money. I just filed bankruptcy 2012 and it was discharged and these people enver showed up on my credit. So why would they call now about their money that i never recieved in the first place? They are threatening to take e to court for something that they have no proff of even trying to colledct from me. This was never on my credit!

Middle eastern or South Asian? The South Asian frauds are the ones who are famous for doing fake debt collection calls but then I might be wrong. There might be middle eastern frauds involved as well. Whatever they are, block their numbers, and report them to the ftc, www.ftc.gov. There's no point in engaging these filthy mouth losers who were setup by a bigger loser. These hidden freaks actually made millions off from vulnerable people who paid them thinking they were legit debt collectors. They don't deserve another dime. No one should pay money to these frauds no matter how threatening or legit they sound.

This is to all of you....whether or not you owe the debt there are consumer debt laws that apply to anyone collecting a debt.  If they contact you by the telephone and the debt is legit, they should have no issue supplying you with the originating creditor information.  Technically they have 5 days to supply that to you in writing.  Always ask for proof of the debt, then you can follow up accordingly.  If they don't or wont' supply it...then use common sense and ignore it.

LMAO mr. i pay my bills probably works for the collection agency and isn't meeting his quota thereforehis commission based salary is $0.00. Most people pay back their payday loans after the 3rd or 4th payments, its the rediculous, astronomical amount of interest they charge that people shouldn't have to pay.

i received a phone call today from these ppl and they tried to tell me i was being sued by the bank i suppossedly had a checking account with and by a payday loan company. When i tried to explain to the very rude a**le that i've never had a bank acct at the back he named nor had a payday loan thru the company he mentioned, he told.me he was going to file criminal charges against me  then hung up. He had no interest in listening to me and it made me wonder how he got.bits and pieces of my info so i called the bank and surprise, surprise no record of me ever having a back acct with them. Then i tried to research the payday loan company and it doesnt exist..another suprise lol..I then caked them back and got cussed out by  a Mr. Gil Stein and that confirmed its a SCAM!! And i for one am calling my local PD dept and reporting them. He needs a taste of his own medicine and one day will get it because God dont like ugly!!

A bill collector. They told me they were the sheriff and they were going to come and pick me up. I started asking questions and I told them. I was recording this and they hung up on me. It is a fake bill collector.

How could I have been accused of writing bad checks with this compnay when I never even wrote a bad check. A rude man called my work place from Delaney, Ruben and Stein to inform me that he was going to order his client to press criminal charges on me in the county in which I reside. This idiot by the name of, Jonathan Turner said that he works for the lawfirm and he is an investigator. This idiot has been calling me on my cell phone since last week stating that I have until the end of the business day to contact them or they will file charges. The idiot has been saying that all week. So, I asked the idiot to repeat the name of the lawfirm as well as other questions, and he became extremely rude. He told me that the phone call was federally recorded. I informed him that this phone call is also recorded on my end because I work for law enforcement. Unfortunately, I filed bankruptcy and my lawyer informed me to stop taking these harrassing phone calls from these "people" because they are scams. This compnay is a scam. anyone who receives calls from this number should report the number.

Hundreds of thousands of cash-strapped Americans have been targeted by abusive debt collectors operating out of overseas call centers suspected of links to organized crime in India, law enforcement officials told ABC News.

The calls are part of a massive scam, one that appears to target struggling Americans -- especially those who have gone online to apply for payday loans. Armed with personal information from those pilfered applications, the threatening callers, who claim to be debt collectors poised to initiate legal action, have managed to pry loose millions of dollars from their victims -- even when the victims never owed money in the first place.

"This is what we call a phantom debt collection scam," said Jon Leibowitz, the chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. "It's a very pernicious and innovative new fraud."

Working through call centers in India, the commission estimates that the criminals have dialed at least 2.5 million calls, persuading already cash-strapped victims to send them more than $5 million. Some have reported receiving dozens of calls per hour. They are victims like Cindy Gervais, of New Orleans, who went online for a quick loan when her husband's car was hit by a driver who didn't have insurance.

Even though she paid the loan off, the so-called "phantom" debt collectors with Indian accents began calling to say she still owed money.

"He more or less told me that if I didn't pay, they were going to have someone on my doorstep to arrest me," she told ABC News. "And that they were going to contact my place of business, and tell them what kind of person I am."

At first, she said she resisted. Then the calls became more frequent, and started to ring on her cell phone, and at the grocery distribution company where she had worked for 27 years.

"I was more or less in panic mode because he told me there would be someone before noon at my place of business to arrest me and take me to jail," she said tearfully. "So I agreed to pay him."

After receiving scores of complaints, investigators with the FTC said they began tracking the calls, and following the payments. They alleged the payments led them to a California company run by an Indian-American named Kirit Patel, and that such scams would not be possible without American front men.

"I would say that all roads of this scam, or many of the roads of this scam, lead back to Mr. Patel," said the FTC's Leibowitz.

ABC News tracked Patel for weeks, from the suburbs of San Francisco to Austin, Texas.

Patel refused to talk. But his lawyer, Mark Ellis, said he believes it is far too early to pass judgment on his client. Ellis, a Sacramento-based attorney, told ABC News that Patel was hired for a nominal fee to set up an American shell company, and had no idea what the call centers in India were doing.

"I can tell you, he was as snookered by the people in India as anybody," Ellis said. "He's a 69-year-old man who is nearing his retirement who thought all he had to do was set up some corporations and everything was on the up and up. He's completely dismayed that he has become the lightning rod of this entire problem."

A close friend of Patel's also defended him in a brief interview at his home, saying Patel was not trying to defraud anyone -- he was just an unwitting, bit player in a larger scheme.

They keep calling asking for some one who doesn't pertain to this number and ive told them wrong number like 5 times already. they are rude so i cuss at them before they get a chance to at me. Total idiots and should be cussed at from the get go.

Number called me today... said i was getting sued for a payday loan... tried to say i owed 2000. But they can settle it for 510. Today... yeah right, after searching all over internet... found a couple of sites but you got to search name of company. A few people said they are legit, but i dont think so. What kind of business will call you and yell and curse while of the phone. Contacted a lawyer and hunting them down now. Got 2 different addresses for them and multiple numbers. Dont give them money.
