Brian Foster is still in action... called from 732-223-2502. Left a message which said to call him back at 732-223-2022 x207. Glad I found this thread, because otherwise I'd still be trying to figure when the hell I ever dealt with anyone from a company called Paulson. As others have reported, he tried to make it sound like we already had some established relationship with a "hope all has been well" thrown in at the end.

Brain Foster from Paulson 732-223-2022 Extension 207. Tried it with me today in Western NY. Thanks to everyone on this site who posted.

Called me today - guess he is not going away...

Some guy called, didn't explain what he wanted, and left a voice mail message that it was "important I call him at my earliest convenience." It's pretty obvious when they don't tell you where they are from or why they are calling that it's a sales call. Not a call I will return - ever!

I read all the above notes, yet called Bryan Foster back anyway just to see what the hell he wanted. The line was busy. oh well, guess its not that important!

Just retrieved a voice mail from my boss from Matt Neeson with Paulson, 732-223-2022 x215. Definitely sounded like Matt was his long lost friend. Wanted him to call him back at his earliest convenience. Will definitely not bother my boss with this one! File 13 is where it is going. Thanks!

Same here....just got a call this morning. Have half a mind to call him to find out what he's trying to sell/pitch....any ideas?
| You and You 2011-07-01 08:49:26 Unknown |
And didn't you love Matt's smooth, self-assured message? As if we were best friends. Actually the part I found the most annoying was the way they say "it's ______ from Paulson." As if we're supposed to know what that is? Sorry, guys, "Paulson" isn't exactly a household name.
Okay, so now we know you are - an esteemed financial adviser. Great. Please tell me, Matt, where should I invest my money? LOL

Thanks to sites like this I don't have to waste time with uninvited callers. Brian Foster left a message on my business phone at 06:06 am this morning - about two hours before I normally get to my desk. Obviously he "does not know me" and I don't care to become acquainted with Brian.
An "ASAP" call back request always rings wrong with me when I do not know the caller.

Ditto the other messages. Brian Foster must be getting telephone ear, since it seems he's calling everyone in the yellow pages. I've never heard of Paulson either, but it's like Brian's been my business cotnact for years - scammer.

Same here, thanks for posting saved me a wasted call. The name I got was Brian Foster

Matt Cleves acts very official yet the call is bogus.

Got a call from Matt Cleeves? of Paulson -- looked up online and assumed it was Paulson Investments
| KBH 2011-06-01 20:34:50 Unknown |
Matt Mason with Paulson / Paulsen called for me to call back (732-223-2022 x215) -- which I was not inclined to call, but now seeing that they have so many other friends, I definitely will not return the call!!

Yup, Brian Foster left a message on my work number. I wonder if these people don't google themselves and see that people are onto their game? They must have low IQs.

Just intercepted a call from Brian Foster for my boss. Acted as though I expected to put him right through. Just left his number 888-605-1300, no extension, and that my boss needs to call him back right away.

Brian is working the phones hard today; reached out to me in Seattle like we were old chums. Google'd his name and got here. Some noteriety, eh?

Received a call from Brian Foster from Paulson this morning @ 888-605-1300x207. He left a message and made it sound like I should know him. Same as the rest of the posts.

Brian Foster called my work phone at 6am and left a message.

I think somebody else from Paulson called last year about this time too.
The psychology of telemarketers is interesting. He does act like he knows you, but he says "from Paulson", not "Paulson Investments"... "Paulson" could be anything and I think he expects people will figure they already have some kind of business relationship with him so will call back. Other than that, Paulson Investments seems to be a legit brokerage.
