Some tech support linked to Toshiba took my admin password and started to take over my computer. I had a feeling this was shady so I pulled the plug and changed admin password.

They came up disguised as Google Technical Support when I did a search for Google Contact by Phone. They had different numbers listed for different departments such as Google Chrome, Picassa, G-mail, etc..When I called the listed number under Google G-mail Technical Support the agent on the line told me he had to access my computer via remote desktop and when I told him no and that I was at work and had to get to work he got combattive and argumentive with me and they hacked into my G-mail account and deleted EVERYTHING in there!
I discovered this site and found out that the company I had called that had been going under the disguised as Google Technical Support was a scammer.
Oh you can bet I reported that company to the IC3 and I encourage anyone else to at first do a reverse search on any number they're gonna call for that sort of service to be sure they are legitemate. That would be one level of protection you can take against Online scammers.

they claimed that I was calling Epson and then they ruined my computer telling me I had to either use Dell or Microsoft and the security for that one year for Dell would cost me over $3,000. When I didn't agree, they ruined my computer.

This event happened to me. Hacked my machine and blocked access and destroyed my HDD. When this happens call the police. You will at the very least get a case number. That alone will help protect you if they in fact access you accounts. If you call and get techno music, wait a day or so and try again. They will eventually answer.

Yes you should worry. Email Apple support and tell them what happened and see if you can change your Apple ID. If in doubt never give out sensitive info to anybody as scammers can spoof numbers from legitimate businesses to make it look real.

I looked up a number for apple support and this number came up. A man answered and told me to use a computer to type in a an address and then connected me to a chat support, he asked for my name and Apple ID and I gave it to him then he asked for my phone number and that time I stated to think twice about giving him anymore info and used my phone to look up the number and found this site, so I hung up and turn off my computer. Should I worry that he has my name and Apple ID?

This company hacked my friend's computer and wanted $499 to fix it. They have blocked internet access and took over the Administrative rights of my friend's computer

This company has been calling seniors and claiming to be with AOL - offering to fix their computers that may have been hacked for $299 - with the added for a service for a year of protection for $179. They also tell seniors that ESET does not protect their computers. I called this number back and there was nothing but techno music - no pickup.
