This # calls me three times a day and it is a big inconvenience because the call when I'm busy and they even call after 8:30pm.

This Number kept calling asking for my Address, Phone No#, and Account No#, and I don't have an account with this company or Dealer, GMAC. So it would be nice if they would stop calling and asking for question I already gave them, my answer to this number was, "I Don't Have An Account With You Guys". So please stop calling

It's not necessarily a scam, they just have the wrong number. They are GMAC finance company and I have an account with them and it is now called Ally finance.

They keep calling asking for same person after I've told them they have the wrong number.

Received several calls from 888-611-6904, never leaves a voice mail however I do have a loan with Ally
but if I don't know # I usually don't answer and wait for voice mail....

Not really sure....  Saw it was an 888 prefix and was suspicious.... when I didn't immediately hear anyone on the line, I hung up.

I pick up, they hang up. 4 times a day.  Gotan app that intercepts the call befoe it rings and hangs up on them so Idont have to.

This number, who ever it is, has called here 20 times since 7:00am and hung up after one ring.  

Ally Financial - as in the company that does all the advertising on TV.  They were looking for someone other than me at my phone number.  Have no idea how they got my phone number associated with that name.  The automated phone call gave me a menu of choosing some options.  Not even sure what the options were, but I pressed '1'.  That then asked me to confirm my last 4 digits of my SSN.  Ha - I entered crap like 1111 and 9999, which resulted in a response saying it didn't match my SSN.  After the 3rd try, it then said to wait on the line for the next representative.  It took almost 10 minutes to get someone on the phone, but the young lady who came on was pleasant and asked for my account number or SSN.  I said I didn't have an account and didn't know why I was getting this phone call.  She asked if I was the name of the person they were trying to call, to which I said no.  She then said she'd make a note that this was not the correct number, apologized, and then bid me a good day.  Hopefully this will put an end to the 1-3 phone calls a day I get from this place. This was the first one I answered.

Keep getting calls from this company and when I say hello, the person on the other speaks in a language that you cannot understand and then hangs up.  Calls at least 3 times a day.  The number is listed as GMAC, no clue why they are calling my number.

repeated calls from number, when answering the phone no one is there. Called the number back and claims to be Allied Financial.  Collecting debt??  No debt here! Requested to be taken off the list, asked to give them number to be removed and was stated that she did not need it and apologized.

You are an a hole. I do keep in touch with this company and even made arrangements yet am still getting calls several times a day from Ally.  If you don't answer on the first number they call immediately on another one. Maybe you are perfect with your credit but don't put others down since you have no idea what their situation is.

This number is Ally and they are calling on different numbers several times a day.  I filled out the paperwork for a deferment and was getting harassed for a payment. When I called to see if it was approved was told the supervisor approved it and the system would be updated. Of course this has never happened and they still continue to call. I also notice with this company that if you have a payment due on a certain date and that date is on Sunday, they charge a late fee since it can't be taken out till Monday. So much for a grace period. This company is the worse.  Talking to then is like banging your head against a wall.

I get behind every now and then on my car payment, since I am disabled and rely on one check right now.Anyway they start calling me at 8:18am and then every 45min to an hour all day everyday until I make the payment. I have tried talking to them but evven when I say the payment will be sent in like 3 or 4 days they continue to call each and everyday all day everyday until the payment shows up on the computers. And yes they are in the Phillipines. I to have asked.    

It is Ally, as far as I can tell. I was one day late three months ago, and still within my grace period. Simply forgot to make the payment. No big deal, paid it on the 9th instead of the 8th.

Ever since then, this number calls me NONSTOP. 17 calls yesterday. I'm caught up, actually two months ahead, and still the calls won't stop. I called Ally and confirmed the number belongs to them. They "apologized", and said the calls would stop. The number just called as I was typing this.

I am reporting them for harassment, though I hear it doesn't do any good, as they are overseas.

Ally has lost a customer. I only financed because of the 0% interest. Cash in full from now on.

They keep calling my work phone and never say anything. They just hang up! So ANNOYING!!

Agreed, never mind the fact that these people are apparently calling some of  the wrong people.  Some FDCPA violations are being reported too.

You're right, people should pay their bills. Sometimes things happen and you get behind through no fault of your own. I know from personal experience that it does not matter if you call a creditor to tell them that you know you are behind, but will catch it up ASAP. They call anyway, and some of them are downright rude. So maybe you need to get down off your high horse, you might get a nosebleed.

All the caller could tell me was they were calling from the Offices of Ally and her name was Ann.  Could barely understand the caller with a thick accent. Nothing regarding the reason for the call.  4th call in 2 weeks at my place of employment-the recptionist handles it.

Maybe y'all should keep in contact with them if you're going to be late or are late on a payment so they don't constantly harass you and your family, it's happening to me now I had to be late on a single payment, but staying in contact with them is keeping them off my back, but y'all need to stop playing the blame game, you signed a contract that no matter what would happen you would make your payments or call them to let them know the situation, doesn't matter if your dog died or you lost your job, put on the adult pants and find a solution, swallow your pride and pay your bills, and yes I'm a bill collector but no not for GMAC or Ally, I'm sick and tired of reading so many posts full of excuses....

I am 10 days late on my payment and they have called literally 3 time in 2 hours. I cannot wait until I am done with this loan, they are going to lose business for two companies, themselves and Chevrolet.

I have been receiving calls from this number numerous times per day. I did as somebody suggested and called the # back. A recorded message answered saying "Thanks for calling Ally Financial."  My ex-husband has an auto loan thru Ally, and is behind in payments. He gave them our "home" number when applying for the loan, therefore, they are harrassing me!

I am so tired of these calls at my office everyday!!!! They call from this number, from this one 8775521820 and 7135681506. They started out by asking for my coworker, who had just started to work here. We have private  company cell phones, and they managed to start calling her on that phone! BIZARRE!! They ended up asking for our manager's name on that phone, so in order to see what they wanted, she accepted the call and they said, cops were on their way at 11:59am to surround her until she pays $30,000 -_-. Seriously? Of course we knew it was bogus, 12:50 and nothing of course! She ended up telling them that we are suing them for fraud and reporting them, they said they would stop calling but now they ask for my manager, not my coworker..  IDK how they managed to get my manager's name, but they still call for her. Which I just ended up hanging up on them as of just now! Every time I said what is the reason for their call they simply say: " It's a personal business matter." NOOOOPPEEE CLICK!! STOP CALLING!!!

Not necessarily. Just because they state a name doesn't mean that is who they are. In this case yes but not always.
