Received a voice mail from a Miss Harrison who said she was calling about our State and Local employee requirements. Left no business name, just this number. Sounded fishy and after seeing these posts I won't be calling them back.

Someone names Yvonne called from a local #, they probably do that to get you to pick up. But left the same call back number stated in this post, 888-618-7518. Said she was from Safety Services Company. They asked for my owners name I didn't give it to them, just said I would pass the message along, which of course I won't.

Yep, a scam. They make it sound official. I have my biz # registered with the national do not call registry, so I reported them.

James left me a voicemail, and stumblingly said he was told to ask for me. Said he was from Safety Services and left the number 888-618-7518. No other information was offered, probably because they knew they were being recorded. Sounded shady so I Googled it and found this string.

Received a call from this #. They said they were calling from Safety Services out of Tempe, AZ and asked to speak to an owner or office manager. I told them no one was available, since it sounded fishy, and asked to take a message. They left the # 888-618-7518 and said it was regarding state & federal regulations. Needless to say I didn't pass the message on to the owner .. and I am the office manager.

This number called and left a voice mail saying they were told to call me about state and federal employee requirements. Obviously not legitimate and I won't be returning the call after reading other postings.

State & federal employee requirements? Probably trying to get you to buy safety posters that are available for free.

This company is a SCAM, and run by criminals. They have people calling small mom and pop shops to harass them about Safety posters. If a Supervisor gets on the line they verify your address and ship them out and invoice you later. By the time you get the invoice for something you didn't want or need ( They want you to think that they are OSHA to build fear and force you to buy to avoid fines and penalties.) Actually the Company, Safety Servives aka Safety Sam Inc. was started in AZ State Prisons where all workers were convicted felons. Now they are in Tempe, AZ with much of the same. Once you are in their system they will try to get you to buy everything from Safety Meetings, Train The Trainer kits, Health and Safety Manuals that they all put together on site in the back room. Everything that they sell you can be printed online and laminated because that's exactly what they have done....

if seems to be private residence, often doesnt leave a message in hopes of not bothering the owner. they call businesses big and small to provide info on OSHA safety to educate employees and protect owners.
| Joe M 2012-04-25 11:28:28 Unknown |
AND doesn't leave a message.....
