just called and there is a prompt for them to remove your number from the calling list - someone comes on, you give them the number and that was the end of the call

I got a call from 1-999-621-8144 that said that the caller, a woman, was looking at my records and could perhaps cut my credit card payments in half.  This person did not leave a message for a specific person which makes me doubt that my "records" were anywhere in evidence.

I also got the line about cutting credit card payments in half.  The irritating thing is that they called me at work!

The following information allows you to get even with them.

If you call their toll-free number from a public phone, they have to reimburse the company of that telephone by more than $0.50.

Call them as many times as you pass a phone booth on the street. I call them 5-10 times a day - that can cost them more than $5 per day.

It's quite satisfying to know that they have to pay to hear your complaints

I was left a message on my office phone. With no information about company, only promise to lower credit card rates by half. Apparently, questionable from comments.

Yeah, but that works ONLY if the system calling you plugs you in with one of their reps.  After about 60 seconds, if a rep does not pick up the phone to talk with you, it goes to voicemail.  I left numerous messages with them demanding that the stop calling me, but my request continues to go unheeded.

I got a message today on my voice mail at work phone from 888 430 2814 saying she had my database in front of her and she could cut my cc bills in half.  The call back # she gave me was 888 621 8144 ext 4020.  I work for public schools and this is a department phone.  The schools are not allowed to have credit cards.  So it was pretty obvious it was a scam.  Anytime I get one of these calls, I google the #.  That's how I found this blog.

I block my number, then call repeatedly and play annoying music. It costs them money for each call.

I just received a new phone number and someone from My Debt Relief (888-621-8144) called and left a message that they understood I have debt and had solutions for helping me clear my debt if I gave them a call.  First, I don't have any debt.  Second, they kept hanging up on me everytime I called and attempted to get any information about them.  Don't contact this organization!!!

Non-profit Organization
An employee at our business has received not less than 6 calls from My Debt Relief Network with a ANI of 866-612-3521.  When I called the number back the business identified itself, and I was given an option to remove the number from the call list.  I selected the option and have been waiting 40 minutes for someone to answer.  The system says I am first in line, but the average wait time is huge.  Customer service is horrible.

This is exactly what happened to me. I waited on hold to have them remove my name and then eventually was hung up on. I read the advice about not calling them back since they are a scam and won't call again.

They call incessantly!!!  It's a recording made to sound like a live person.  I'm on the government 'do not call' registry and I called to tell them this and asked to be taken off their calling list.  They said they would but still CONTINUE to call.  I called back again today and told them to stop calling me and the girl on the phone gave ME attitude.  I promptly reported them to the 'do not call' org and am making a BBB complaint as well.  I encourage all who've been bothered by them to do the same so they are fined and put out of business.

I've been getting the same calls for a week now, its really easy to get them to stop. What you got to do is ask for the supervisor or manager, ask for there names and ask for the address of the company, then you tell them that you will sue them for harassment if they dont take your phone number off the list and stop calling, you also tell them that you are recording the conversation, worst case they hang up on you, just do it again if they call its worth scarring their pants off and it will work, its the law doods.

Same thing. Got the call on my 714 area code mobile phone (orange county, ca); they left a voice mail and said it was julie with debt relief for high interest credit cards blah, blah, blah. She said she had me on file and wanted to help. P.S. I don't have CC debt. It is just another scam.

I can't not pick up the phone when they call at 9PM as I do not have called ID and I assume it is a family member at that time of the evening.  I have asked to be put on no call list numerous times and they still call 2 - 4 times a day.
