I am sure everyone reading this can hear your resentment of being unemployed due to your attendance and multiple company policy violations.

I am sorry you felt the need to write falsities and bash a completely legit company (fully licensed, insured and bonded) behind a website where your identity is hidden.  True show of character and I am sure your next employer will be excited to have such an amazing individual as yourself.

The whole country wishes you nothing but the best!  We are sorry you had such a tough time getting to work on time and fulfilling such a simple job.  Times are tough.  Good luck!

Love,
the whole country

Yea I dealt with them and the information they gave me was for a payday loan that I defaulted on which I set up payments with a Samson Smith and made all of the payments and before the last payment I asked specifically that I would receive a paid in full letter so I made the last payment and it has now been 4 months and no letter!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY THEY ARE A SCAM and I am in the process of filing complaints against them as I know I can't get my money back but maybe if we file enough complaints against them they will stop harassing people.

I used to work for this company. It is absolutely 100% a SCAM. They purchase old debt so old in fact that it is illegal to collect on it. In training they talk all this nonsense about the fdcpa laws then turn around and instruct you to use aliases. Two of them one for leads and messages the other for closing. They do NOT have an attorney with any paper work. There are NO attorneys in the office. It's just a bunch of trashy people who can't work elsewhere due to their criminal histories. They sometimes use skip tracing websites to locate neighbors and relatives. That's if they even can afford to pay that bill to keep the membership to the skip tracing site. The managers cuss and scream if you don't get credit card payments for that day. It's called "green". The payment goes directly to the owners bank account. They also threaten people on social security and scare them into paying. The company has the employees say that if a payment isn't made then they will be reported to social security. They state that the loan was taking out illegally if they don't have income besides social security. They also state that social security will stop your eligibility because of this so called fraud.  It's a b***s***. The managers there are a huge joke. They all are in real debt. The one manger has payday loan dept and the office gets called by real collections companies. I'm glad I left this company when I did being that they are on the FBI watch list. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT. They are a SCAM. I know first hand. But I guess I'll just be called an angry ex employee lmao. All because I refused to lose my financial licensing by continuing to work for them and I refused to turn to threatening people to get the illegal results that they demanded. Only worthless people could run and continue to work for these scam artists.
They used to be equity solutions and processing the address is  1753 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH. 44221. The office is in a small shopping center with the red fox and dollar general. It's the old fair finance office it's a room with cubicles and white trash yelling at people on the phone SCAM SCAM SCAM

Wake up Sasha!!!  No legitamate business is going to act this way. Legit collection agencys know the laws and most abide - they know they can be sued and at very least the employee would be terminated.  Legit collection agencies will work with you not belittle you. I know i've had to pay collectors and have friends who have worked in collections. Its obvious to me you dont know how things are in the real world.

I have calls from these jokers on at least 3 different numbers and one of them was from a cell phone programed with my local area code to make me think that they were someone else or were local.  These predators just want money.  When they asked about the loan I told them the truth - any debt i have or had was included in my recent bankruptcy and they can go piss up a rope.  After the guy figured out what that meant he got hateful and threated me with be served at work etc. I told him he was welcome to try but the security guards at the gate would stop him. He then tried to tell me how it was "negatively impacting" my credit reports. Well I had just pulled all 3 reports a  few days before this call...guess what there's nothing there about any payday loan, any deliquency or anything else...bankruptcy wipe it out!! These people will try anything to get your money. Never admit anything. Never confirm address or SS#. Make them prove the debt is real - they wont do that because that gives away their actual location. then they could be dealt with for the ways they are treating people.

USE COMMON SCENSE PEOPLE!!

Scare tactics and harassment is all they can do and thats only over the phone. Hang up on them.

What you think they gonna come to town and find you and make you pay?? NO. but thats what they want you to think.

They want your money but are not going to spend any money to get it - in other words they dont have a lawyer to sue you and wont come to your state to take you to civil court - that takes money.

No business  is gonna spend $2000 to collect a $500 bad debt.

On January 23, 2013, the BBB sent certified correspondence to Galaxy Capital Solutions regarding their pattern of complaints.
Consumers are stating: Galaxy Capital Solutions are not verifying the credit and/or to whom the debt is owed, they are using threatening/inappropriate language to stronghold consumers into paying, they are not revealing their business name when they call consumers and where they are calling from, and are violating written requests to not contact the consumer.
As of February 5, 2013, we have verified the business received our request for a response but no response has been provided by the business.

Most if not all states do NOT send people to jail for debt. Debt is handled in civil court like divorce. A personal check that you may have written as part of the payday loan process and may have defaulted on is NOT treated as a criminal event because you did not have criminal intent at the time you wrote the check. Writing a bad check for merchandise at a store is a criminal act (jail possible). Writing a bad check for a payday loan is NOT a criminal act (no jail). And no, debt collectors cannot suspend your driver's license or any kind of license. I hope you have paper proof that your debt was paid off the first time. I hope you did not pay a scammer that first time but did indeed pay a legit debt collector and did really pay off your debt. Best of luck.

The FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf treats the INITIAL CONTACT between collector and debtor (first call, first letter, first whatever) as a special event. Legit collectors per section 809 of the FDCPA *must* tell you at initial contact, or send you paperwork within 5 days of initial contact, the following:
1. $amount of debt,
2. name of the current creditor (which may differ from the original creditor who might have sold your debt),
3. a statement that that debt will be assumed to be valid unless you dispute in writing within 30 days,
4. a statement that that if you do dispute in writing within 30 days, the collector must mail you written verification of the debt,
5. a statement that if you ask the collector in writing within 30 days, the collector must send you the name and address of the original creditor if it's different from the current creditor.
If you don't get the 5 disclosures, orally or in writing (you do not have to ask for them, the FDCPA requires collectors to provide them), treat the collector like you would any SCAMMER.
Note that 3,4,5 must be done *IN WRITING* so you will need to ask an address from your collector. If s/he refuses to give you one for any reason, treat the collector like a SCAMMER.
The collector can threaten court action at initial contact but the FDCPA requires that the collector actually take you to court if the collector threatens it. Threatening court and not going through with it (coercion) is illegal.
If they say the FDCPA does not apply to them because they own your debt, the debt-owner exemption only applies to the original owner. A 3rd party who buys the debt for the purpose of collecting debt is treated as a debt collector and not an owner and must obey the FDCPA as explained in this FTC Staff Opinion letter here http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpa/letters/arbuckle.htm
Has the statute of limitations for your state http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/SOL-by-State.html expired on your debt? If expired, don't pay.
Collectors generally have to be licensed by your state to practise (collect debt) in your state and you can find out by calling your state Attorney Generals Office. Ask if a license is required and does this collector have one. If not licensed, don't pay and file a complaint with your state AG.
Read useful debt-collection FAQs from the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm
