Received voice mail giving a caller name of Conner Smith, saying he was calling from a "professional debt collection agency" about an important matter. Caller left call back number requesting I return the call. When I tried,  just got an answering machine. Never heard back again.

Offensive caller, I put phone down on them, they said a debt agency, I have referered to BBB, not at all professional, blocked

I received a call this afternoon. They did not identify themselves and a voice said please wait because the call was important. Then they hung up. It appears to be a scam.

Debt collectors are not required to use the Do Not Call list and cannot actually register for access, not that they would anyway.

The mother f****rs keep on calling regardless if you are or not in the "Do not call registry" I did answer the phone and they put background music and a voice saying: " This is an important message, this is a bill colletor, bla bla bla call us back" and them provide another number that I didn't record, but the whole thing was a recording, not a live person. This is an scam do not talk to this people or give any personal info.

They called this afternoon I think they said Privacy Crédit or something the voice was low and hard to hear, they left a voice mail I replayed several times just trying to hear what they daid and didn't ask for anyone. It's bizarre.  I am blocking the number sounds like a scam.

08/10/2103-A guy said"This is a very important matter and the call is being recorded" is this #### for verification? and i said who is this and he again said the call is being recorded and i need to verify this is ####-when will the government stop letting this skam people do this stuff-they have the number and address the gov knows all but still let skams like this go on and on and on

My friend got a call from this number and it said United States under this odd looking number, no one was there, it said your call is important to us please wait on the line,  it makes me really sick that this is like the 2nd or 3rd time they have called his number and no one is ever there.  We have no idea who these people are and I am writing this to report that it needs to be checked out by some one in authority who can do something about it!!

Beware, it's a big scam!
Called and left a voicemail saying this message is for "first name, last name" they got the last name correct, but not the first name.

Called back to find out more about it, this time she changed the first name again but still got the last name correct. So I pretended to be the right person that she is calling about.

She said "this is a private matters, so we need to verify your address or our ssn..." So I got really upset, and demand her name and what company she represents (I have to repeat few times). She said she is from "Privacy Credit Service" sounds like a company she just made up. So I Googled and cannot find anything, should have asked for the url, but regardless do not give any personal information over the phone.

 
At this point, I was really mad because I knew it was a complete scam so she try to get off the phone by saying please check you mail we have send you something with no company name on top because it's for privacy matter. BS, if you are reputable company you do not need to hide yourself. I wish I can just report these criminals to an authority.

They called my WORK and asked me to verify my ssn and address and they wouldn't even tell me where they were calling from. "Evelyn" then said she couldn't tell me what they had on file for me because she was protecting the privacy rights of the consumer. I then asked why she would ask me to give up my privacy rights and just give my personal information to someone who refuses to tell me who they are or what they're calling for. SERIOUSLY?!

Phone rings, I answer, line open. I called back today and a person named Leah answered.  It was a bill collections agency, hired by state of Oregon Department of Revenue.  I told her I was sick of getting phone calls with no one there.  She played dumb

the computer voice keeps asking for the last for digits of your SS#.  which i recommend not doing.
