Just got a message from 888-631-3028 "gather your belongings, because you have been drawn for a trip to the bahams.

This is some type of scam. I received at text stating: "Spectacular news, You just won a cruise to the Bahamas, just call us at 888-631-3028." The text originated from 203-300-3899.

What do I have to do, change my number to get a break from this insanity?

These people text me with the same Bahamas stuff. I just informed them that they won an award for being a dick face, just to waste their time. It is Friday night for a few bored minutes, lol.

Got the following text from 808-382-2601 (HI number)

Sounds like a scam, considering I never participated in any raffles.

I got the message about the Bahama cruise too. However I was asleep when I got it and the preview read "pack your bags". Sure woke me up.

Good news, these scammers have sweetened the pot and upgraded to fictional trips to the bahamas (sic).

Thanks for the info; I just got this on my phone as well.  The only thing I have done out of the ordinary lately is that I booked a hotel with Hotwire.  Did they get my number that way????  Not cool.

Left a txt msg on my cell that I won $1500 in travel cash ... someone please hunt these animals down and exterminate them ... book 'em Dano!

It's fraud, they will promise you $$$ but pretty obvious fraud.  Don't call them back or reply.

I got a message from this number telling me I won 1500. Too good to be true who ever it is i find the activity to be extremely suspicious. I even called the number no pick up.

Please avoid. They are a well known scammer and Police are well aware of them due to 100s of complaints

I called the number with my free iPhone MagicJack app to find out who it was.
I was put on music hold immediately before human intervention for about 2 minutes or so.

The person said she was in Nova Scotia and with a company called Preferred Guests and she pointed me to the following web site page: http://bestvacationsever.com/index.php/layout/florida/orlando

She said I had to rent a car from the company called Alamo (not sure of spelling) to qualify. When I asked her if I went to Alamo would I qualify. She said they would need to set it all up.

I don't think it is a scam, I think it is just a way to get business.
However, I don't know where they got my cell phone number from and I don't appreciate having to pay for an unsolicited text. I know a text is not much but it's more the principle than anything.

Got spam message on cell phone saying I'd won a Florida trip. My call display says number that originated call was 9024025304.  Scam telemarketing company.
