Received unwanted call from this number no message left.  Assumed it was a solicitation call.

I have had several calls from them.  They claim I am showing computer problems online and want remote access to my computer.  ( It isn't going to happen. ).  I have called Microsoft to check them out.  I was told strait out that they do not call unless its a return call from you.  They advised me To not Give access and just hang up on them.

They started calling after I cancelled my State Farm VISA Credit Card, as noted above.  That was in April; they are still calling twice a day, almost every day, the two calls (ALWAYS two calls) are separated by about 10 minutes.  It's obviously a pair of Robo-calls.  The number has been blocked here ever since April but they never gave up trying to get through.  Since the Do Not Call list went into effect, I have NEVER received a legitimate cold-call.  ALL are scammers, even though this one pretends to be State Farm Bank and could use my prior relationship with the bank as an excuse to call.  The U. S. Mail is still available for legitimate correspondence.

I just got this new cell phone and new number.  and have had at least 20 calls in 4 days.  I have never had an account with State Farm and I believe that if they are not professional enough to leave a message, as they have never left a message any of the calls,  then they don't deserve a call back and probably some kind of scam.  If they were legit they would have no reason not to leave who they were and why they were calling.

I had a State Farm Bank VISA credit card for many years.  I cancelled it in April due to the intrusive identity verification policy they initiated March 17th.  The questions were randomly selected by them from my financial transactions from many years past, which I no longer remembered the answers to.  The final straw was when I was denied access to my on-line account after having given them my correct password.  My policy is that I can be reached through the U. S. Mail.  I consider all telephone calls to be phishing attempts, especially in this case since I no longer have a State Farm Bank VISA account.  Don't give ANY information to a Cold Caller, regardless of how genuine they seem.  If they have to contact you, they can do it via the USPS.

This could be State Farm Bank collections, as we got a letter in the mail today saying the payment that was due a few days ago is not paid. My husband thought he paid it, he has to check online, and then get back to them.

That number is actually a number from State Farm (Credit Card) Collections department; I know that because I called State Farm back after the representative asked me for my account number and the last for of my SSN (I found it suspicious as well).
I had entered my account number incorrectly so my payment was not processed, and they were calling me to notify me that my account was delinquent, and to verify the account number used to pay my bill.
They were very nice about it and in the end transferred me back to the patient and nice man who I suspected of fraud, and he waived all my fees after we cleared everything up.

I actually work at State Farm and they never ask for your bank account number or social security number over the phone.  If someone knew what you owed on an account, it's available from your credit report.  I called the number and the whole system setup did not appear to be State Farm. In fact our bank numbers have a 734 prefix. Strange. Probably a scam...

i got a call from this number also.      and they wanted my complete bank account number and social security number.       they did have the right amounts of what i owe on the account.    strange.               i guess i have to post a complaint on the state farm bank website?

Just a note to say each time you phone me & hang up, this number is being processed in the Va. data base as a unknown, until todays number, State Farm, 888-634-0012
They will be monitoring all the harrassing calls made to my number to include never leaving any messages.

I had to resort to this a few yrs. back when I kept receiving annoying hang up calls for someone who did not exhist at my number.

This call comes from State Farm or State Farm Bank credit card.

They call constantly and never leave messages.  If I pick up the phone, an "operator" gets on and tells me to hold for a customer service rep.  Then they keep me on hold forever!  I usually hang up after a couple of minutes.  This is State Farm Bank.

Never heard from this bank until they started annoying me with their phone call, waking me up early in the morning when I am off and trying to have some rest. They have called me more than 15 times in less than a week. Don't they have some work to do? At least leave a message. I will never open an account with such a bank. PLEASE STOP CALLING MY NUMBER.

P.S. They will call you daily BUT WILL NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE, so I didn't know who it was initally until I searched them on the net! Thanks for REALLY TRYING to get in contact with me State Farm Bank! The customer service is AMAZING!!! HAHAHA. Can you sense the sarcasism?

In the beginning this number called once a day in the morning then eventually the afternoon calls began.  Now the number pops up at least 4-5 times per day.  Glad to know I'm not the only one being annoyed by this number!

This number calls me 3 to 4 times a day. Just set it up as a block call. Can't believe how much stress it relieves.

Maybe a person that has onced owned your current phone number has a delinquent account through State Farm Bank, and that is why they are calling. If the debt is not yours, until you tell them that, how will they ever know?

I would want to tell anyone who continued calling me that I have no debt with them, if in fact, I didn't.  It isn't logical to get upset with a company until you have communicated this to them then they STILL keep calling.  Just a thought...

1-888-634-0012 calls 5-9 times a day does not leave message.If this is State Farm they need to update their data! Check clients account BEFORE making countinuous calls!

Yes I agree with that post - they call all day and night and we don't even why. They never leave messages but will call 5 times in a row and leave an ANNOYING beeping noise on your answering machine.

This caller will call and only request to speak to the person they are calling for, Only if the phone is picked up. If the phone is not picked up on, they will call numerous times (8-10 times estimated) all day from 8am through 8pm everyday. And if they hit a message machine and or voice, they do not leave a message.
