Got a call. They hung up on me.

When I recieve these type of calls after checking the numbers online. I then pick up the phone and either say County morgue or police depatment. This flusters them and they don't call back.

Received one today. New York. No Message. Two rings.

I have gotten a call from this number several times. I called them back and found out they are supposedly an insurance broker that will set you up with insurance agents to give you quotes on auto, life, renters, and home insurance. The person claims I filled out a request for auto insurance quotes online and they were following up to see if i had received the quotes. The person tried to press me into giving information about my home so that he could have an agent call with quotes for renters insurance. I kept telling i wasn't interested, but he kept pushing. I refused to give any info out and he finally let me go. I have not filled out any quotes for auto insurance for months so I think its a scam to try to get info about where you live and what you own.

I got a phone call from 888-637-3896 at 3:08 pm EST today, March 9, 2010.  I just saw it in my Missed Calls list and I tried calling them back.  They have a message saying they are currently closed but no identification as to who they are.

I am receiving multiple calls, multiplle times a day from this number! It rings twice and then they hang up and no one ever leaves a message or anything.

yea i just got a missed call from this number. i am a current gieco customer, but i was looking online recently for alternative car insurance.

Does any one who this # belongs to.  They leave no message

I asked for car insurance quotes online MONTHS ago and got a bunch of calls right after, but none harassing. This number JUST called me twice yesterday and once today - no messages left. I don't think it's about car insurance... they would have left a message if it was legit, right? (Minnesota)

THEY CALL EVERY DURING THE WEEK.  DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON   FOR OVER A YEAR.

It is Quote Wizrd and they continue to ask questions to "pressure sell" It is quite ridiculous.

yeah a few weeks ago i looked up auto insurance online to get a quote...hmmm maybe that is it? i dont answer calls i dunno, i wait for a msg. they just now called me again, 930, im in tennessee...have gotten a few calls this past week and i think weekend, but i never answer. was curious soo google here i am...has to be auto insurance related is the only thing i can think of that everyone seems to be having in common??

this stupid number has been calling me for weeks. i dont answer it because i dont know the number. Its getting very annoying 2 rings and then hang up. no voicemail or anything. and im from michigan

Same thing happened to me today. I'm from Mississippi.  This is dumb. I dont pay for minutes, only for text.

I called and was on hold for a while...Found asked twice for the company name, and it's Quote Wizard...

they called my home 2x a day for the pass 2wks. only on wk. days lucky im not home. when i call them back they put me on hold then hang up i am in ca.

this call came in and rang 2 times then hung up. looks like it is happening a lot. can you do something about it?

google got me here when checking on this number a few minutes ago.. how can we stop this

Just got this call. Didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer, figuring I'd call back when a message was on voicemail. Nothing left. I can't be using my cellphone minutes for all these weird calls!

Any idea who this is? I don't appreciate calls like this.

I did an online quote for auto insurance as well two days ago. You are probably right that this number is due to that. Anyone else recently apply online for auto insurance?

Made the mistake of checking insurance quotes(link posted on Facebook) and the next day phone rang with this number.  Didn't answer.  No voice-mail was left.  I called back and was puzzled when a woman answered asking for me by name.  Very bizarre.  I would say don't use Quote Wizard, but if you are here looking for this number you have already used it.

Just got a call from this number. A lady asked for my son by name. When I said he's not here but will be home later, she replied, "that will be fine"

I did an online search for a car insurance quote.  The person calling was asking a lot of personal questions at first but when I told him about one quote I had gotten of 63.00 a month, he got very rude and abruptly hung up on me without saying anything.  I won't answer any more of these calls.

Just got a call and qucik hang-up.  CAlled back.  Got the "wait for next available agent..."  Guy answered "Customer Service, John Smith speaking...."  Are you kiddiung me... JOHN SMITH...  Told John to take my number off his so-called list.

Has called 3 or 4 times. Never leaves a message.

Rang two times hung up  Where is the Do Not Call deal?

Has called me several times during the day when my phone is on silent and I am at work and they never leave a message.

I just asked for insurance quotes yesterday and same thing my phone has been ringing off the hook! And same thing this number called me 3 times today but noone is there when I answer. Wonder if it has something to do with that? I used Quote Wizard (Big Mistake!) Des Moines, IA
