Calls at 5 and 6 am, leaves a message just saying call back to discuss a business matter. Doesn't even say who they're looking for.

They keep calling during the week, and no messages.no idea who or why.I don't answer unknown calls without any messages either.

This is a debt collector on behalf of Regions Bank!! The number that is displayed is 888-661-2566 and the company name is "Plaza Recovery Inc."

I left a message on here sometime earlyer. I was reading what people were saying about this number so I called then back. It was Plaza Recovery and they told me what my number was, they aske if it was a home phone or sell phone, I told them it was a cell Phone they asked my name i told it to them, they said that my name didn't show up on there files and that they must have the wrong number and they will take my number off. But I ll have to wait and see if it's true.

This number just called me. I called them back and the automated person said that it was Plaza Recovery. I then just hung up. I don't know what Plaza Recovery is but if they want to talk to me then they can leave a voice mail, then I ll decide if I want to call them back.

Caller ID said 866-872-0970, which has called numerous times, so I answered.  They asked for someone I'd never heard of but I was trying to get some information about who this was so I asked if I could take a message.  All I could get out of him was his name (Kyle Woodstock) at 888-661-2566 ext 7160 and that it was a personal business matter.  Yeah whatever Kyle.  Good luck when you can't even find who you are looking for.

Called me today and I picked up and said hello. They immediately hung up. Looks like the works of scam artists

They call me because I never paid my last PECO energy bill in Philadelphia

This is a SCAM  Please do not even answer this call  they are trying to get your money.   They prey on people who have had past money problems.  Warning.  They even try calling your neighbors to get your personal info

WARNING!  THIS IS A FAKE COLLECTION AGENCY  THEY TRY CALLING YOUR NEIGHBORS AND RELATIVES TO GET PERSONAL INFORMATION ON YOU.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK.  THEY WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU ALONE ONCE THEY GET THE PERSON THAT THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT.  THEY WERE ABLE TO HACK INTO MY CREDIT AND NOW I HAVE BLOCKERS ON MY CREDIT AND IT MAKES IT HARD TO PURCHASE ANYTHING,  BEWARE.

This number has been on my caller ID several days, but there is no message left.  I called them back using *67 first.  Now I know what it is and I'm REALLY ticked!  I owe nothing to anyone - and am on both the federal no-call list as well as the Indiana no-call list.  I will also submit complaints.

Amen my friend.  Which is why I came to this site...just to get info on who they are so I can do the paperwork with the Attorney General's office.  They've been going after companies like this because the companies usually settle and SC needs money. I have no problems with that. :)

Called my cell number and asked for someone I didn't know.  I have gotten a number of calls from these people, even after asking them to stop that I decided to do a little detective work.  The number above came up in caller ID, I answered, they asked for the individual, I said they were not available and asked to take a message, the caller said her name was Kim Kayes (she spelled it for me) and her number is 800-467-8177.  Thanks to the rest of you I now know who she is with so I can file a complaint with the SC Attorney General's office.

Yeah I got a call. Brand new phone number, can't be for me. Debt collectors buy debt for pennies on the dollar, so they can afford to waste a lot of money on clearly inefficient efforts like this. A phone call is just a phone call. If someone files in court, pay attention. My favorite response:  Honey, the only thing I got is this chair I'm sittin in and this phone I'm talkin on. If you want em' jus come on and get em.  It's just a phone call. My dear sweet mother would set sales pitches down on the kitchen counter and let them go on and on.  This site .... well you can see what's going on in between posts here.

Just stop the phone calls, they always call while I am at work.  I will not answer at work or the one on the other side of the phone will actually know they DO NOT WANT to call this number again.

I kept getting calls from 888-661-2566 asking for a person I don't know.  I told them I had this number for over 10 years and that they had the wrong number.  After the 8th calls in two weeks, I just don't answer call from this number anymore.  I just submitted a complaint to the FTC.  Hopefully, this will stop.

The Do Not Call Registry only keeps you from getting calls from telemarketers - by definition people who are trying to sell you things. Had you read the previous comments for this number you would see that it belongs to a debt collector. Debt collectors do not have to abide by Do Not Call regulations. They're looking for a debtor, who may or may not be you. If it is you, you can mail them a "cease and desist" letter to make them stop calling. If it isn't you, call the number back and tell them so, and they will stop calling.

Also as a FYI Do Not Call does not prevent political calls, calls from charities, or callers wanting you to participate in a survey.

Plaza Recovery (aka ACB American, aka Plaza Associates....the biggest scam artist "debt recovery" service on the planet) has been calling incessantly leaving autobot messages on my voicemail. Calls are now coming from this number. I have no debt, and the phone reps are rude and horrible.

Not sure if this works, but we have tried it a couple of times and at least that number stopped calling here.  Just pick the phone up then hit the # sign 6 or 7 times real fast.   This is suppose to confuse the automatic diling and your number will be thrown out.

They call and said his name is willima with vacation services. we gut open our newest location here in marietta roswell..celebrating and open house and offering 8 day 7 night fun field cruise for 2 adult...they people never seem to stop calling

Got a call from this number.  I never answer numbers I do not recognize.  I hook it up to fax machine or block numbers.  These people are ALL scammers and COWARDS.  Dont fall for anything they have to say.  The phone companies should be ashamed at themselves for doing business with these cowards who turn out to be scammers.  The phone companies are in the big business of doing business with cowards, making money for themselves and scammers.  Meanwhile the midde class pays big time for these idiots.

I kept getting calls from 1888-661-2566 and they ask for Varone Mandhan. I told them that's not me and I've had this # for years. They said they would remove my #, we shall see.............
