Called from 888-665-6270 RipOff of Dunn & Bradstreet - Calling themselves "Dunn & Bradstreet Credibility Corporation.  Nice lady and I just made her hang and give me the information and 'service' they provide at $500/year.  I told her we are on the DNC Registry and requested they take us off their list.  I'm making a complaint to FCC also.

Received a call from a fellow named Garret Meagher, from 610-973-5998. Asked for the CEO and then gave me some spiel about him having requested a credit report and they were following up to get some other information that they needed. Told me he was calling from Credit AS. I pressed a bit more and he said it was actually to offer us some services, to help build the business's credit. It was a pretty incomprehensible pitch. Told me to check out their website, http://www.dandb.com and left me the number (866) 257 - 9158 ex 7133.

I have been getting calls from this number for what seems like years now. They are D&B 3rd-party solicitors. They are not directly related to D&B, just hired guns. Their tactics for getting you to reveal info or spend money are sleazy. I have not picked up their calls in a long, long time. They never leave a voice mail message ever. If you run a side business that uses your SS# instead of a Tax ID#, then they can find you and harass you.

Dunn and Bradstreet have been bothering our small business for almost 20(!!!!) years now.

Always trying to put pressure on us. making up all kinds of claims, like our credit report is poor. They try and pressure you, making you believe that you need their services. Which you will have to pay for.

For your reference and entertainment, we have never not paid a bill, own 100% of our business, inventory, and have been happily in business for all these years. And always told Dunn and Bradstreet to go take a hike and scam other people. The last call I was promised by Christine Pickett that they would no longer call us. About time after 20 years. See if these vultures keep their promise.

By the way, I have yet to find a business/wholesaler who is not willing to get our business, because we do not pay Dunn and Bradstreet for their "services". Buyer beware.

Merely said there was no one available. If this were truly a legit call, they would leave a message but of course, since it's a high pressure scam, they couldn't get off the phone fast enough so they could make their next call to their next potential victim.

They called me and knew the name of my boss and said they needed to speak with him and was urgent,  I inquired more and she said her name was Jessica Okeffe and that business are purchassing our companys credit info.  I don't know whats urgent about that.

D&B (Dunn & Bradstreet) is now resorting to extortion to get you to subscribe to them. Look at what Obama and Congressman are doing to the American public... so why should this be a surprise?

Dun & Bradstreet is responsible for trying to bilk businesses out of money using a phony line. I have received multiple calls from this number. I think DNB needs to fix it. The number is 888 665 6270

these folks just called me too, BUT, I just updated my business review on D and B (Im a small company that is using their free credit monitor service, anyone can sign up).  The guy that called mentioned how he saw that I just updated my D and B, so what this means is, D and B must be selling our data, or that this marketing company is looking at something that D and B is reporting to, and that is upsetting.

Yes, the folks at this number are scammers, they are not associated to D and B, but they are getting their info from someplace, maybe they have accounts on D and B and are able to see when others open, close, update, etc.  Point is, D and B needs look into this and they have not.  I reported it to them, even sent them the voice mail I got from this number whereby the man tells he is with D and B, but D and B does not seem to care.

They kept calling so I finally answered & same as everybody else. They wanted to know what email to send the access code to for $750! I told them to remove my number & they hung up on me.

Fight back against these unwanted calls like I do, by getting the US Government involved.  (1) Go to the "DoNotCall.gov" website (If you haven't already done so, register your phone numbers on the Do-Not-Call list).  Then....(2) Select the "File A Complaint" option.  (3) Take a few moments to fill in the blanks with info of the problem caller.

Illegal robocall claiming to be from Dunn and Bradstreet calling about suspicious activity on our business credit report.  The recording then went on to tell me to press whatever number to speak to a live rep or if they have called at an inconvenient time, they will try calling back!  Another day, another telespammer.  Caller ID showed Toll Free Call

This is not D&B but a service that says they will update D&B rating and help you list your vendors.  Just another way to extract your money.

I never understand why my business should pay to do something Experion, TransUnion, and Equifax do at no charge on my personal side. If someone wants the credit reports they pay, so why should I have to pay to keep it current! D&B though respected has always seemed like a money trap to me.

I answered this call earlier in the week, and it was a woman claiming to be with Dunn and Bradstreet stating that their has been recent inquiries on my Business Credit Account.  She then tried to sell me a yearly subscription to Business Credit monitoring for $500/year.  She kept trying to tell me how important this is though I told her I was a small part time business.  (I'm the boss and labor force.)  She emphasized how valuable their 16 page credit report would be to me - it must be a very large font, as I don't have that many credit references.  It is possible that it is legit - but the hard sell is a turn off and the price is insane for the small business community.

I refused the offer, but they have tried calling me back again just three days later.  Idiots!!!!

They want money from you. They have called me more than once. As a matter of fact they just called. I didn't pick up. It's like the try to strong arm you into paying them to protect you. But they are trying to take money from your pocket. SCAM!!!!!

Same call here as well. If they say they are D and B and are not isn't that unlawful?
Why wouldn't they be stopped? Seems like these calls have been going on for some time now.

No caller ID - no pickup from me...got it?

This number calls and when answered get a recording.  It's called several times.

I received one of these calls today.  The person kept talking and Ilet them for a couple minutes.  Then she kept muting the phone call because she was laughing too hard. (You could hear her start laughing and finis laughing just outside of the mute portions).  I just hung up at that point.

The number was 888-665-6270
