Started New York Times today.  Received two calls from this number - the first left no message, and the second hung up upon my answer.  Thanks to the posters to this site for associating this number with NYT.

We canceled NY Times delivery a couple of months ago due to incredibly poor service from the delivery company. Newspaper was constantly late, delivered in the street, under shrubbery, newspaper torn up, etc. We called the NY Times to straighten it out but nothing helped.

NY Times called us with a special offer a couple of weeks ago so we re-started NY Times delivery hoping for better service. Service was WORSE. Called the NY Times and canceled again today, then got a call from this number about two hours later. I didn't pick up. I have no desire to talk to people who can't even deliver a newspaper.

And lest people think I'm just some rich snob who likes to complain about poor service people, I delivered newspapers part time for over a decade and my customers loved my service. I was in logistics full time for 30 years and my customers loved my service. It isn't rocket science. Everyone makes a mistake now and then but courteous, on time, error free delivery the majority of the time is all it takes. Not intentionally shredded newspapers intentionally hidden in shrubbery or intentionally delivered to the middle of the street and run over by traffic.

I'm with you, they called 3 times in 3 hrs. Didn,t answer call because it was unknown, but they didn't leave a message either. I believe it was the Boston Globe. It would be so easy to leave a message, no they just keep calling. Aggravating!

Received two calls from this number ... it went to VM, but no message. I reported a missed paper to TIMES HERALD RECORD, but I also called them and spoke to a sort of real person as their "voice activated" does not understand English  ... ?

Called twice and hung up when I answered. I did report missing NYTimes yesterday.

I received a call last weekend to recommence home delivery of my local paper. I agreed and signed on for the service to begin in two weeks when I return from vacation. I have yet to get a paper but this phone number keeps calling to verify I am pleased with my service!!! I have gotten 3 calls already today. I hope the service really is as good as the checking into wether I am pleased with it or not.

Yep, I called them back after not answering their 3 calls, it IS " PCS Delivery service" -- wanted to know if we were happy with the delivery service. Then they hang up??!! Yesterday we did not get a Westchest paper and I called -- They need to wake up -- not having somekind of name with phone number.

If it is legit - then Caller ID should state the Newspaper name or they should leave a msg.  How simple is that?  We missed a paper Sunday so may be legit but we are not picking up the phone unless it identifies who they are

I had the same experience. I called yesterday to report a missed paper and I just got a call( didn't answer) from this number.  Makes sense!

3 calls no vm. Could be related to NYTimes. Called them to let them know I missed a paper.
