Called, left a message of static.

BLOCK THEM, DOES NOT COST. THEY WILL GO AWAY IN DAYS.

Updated my monster resume a few days ago. Just got an automated call from 877-410-9108 requesting I call and schedule an interview. I didn't call it back.

I got a call from this number of 972-200-9825 at 730pm CST. I live in Missouri and it told me to call a number back the 888-673-4109 to schedule an interview because they received my resume. I called and it told me to enter my zip code and it will transfer me to the nearest location. Which was off of S. Lindberg in St. Louis. I called and it kept saying the lines were busy and then it told me to leave a message. They left no name of company or anything.

Just got the recorded message from 972-200-9825 to call 1-888-673-4109 since I have the job qualification of owning a phone.  I think the woman on the recording is married to the guy who says "You've got Mail!". Immediately Googled the phone number and not surprised its another bs scam.  I wonder how long this one will continue for. My good friends at ARL and Portfolio Recovery still call occassionally to see if I'll pay the debts by some who had my current phone#. Once the current job hunt is over, I'll have my number changed and be unlisted.  Not looking forward to nuking all the profiles on the job boards.

Just the message on cell to call for interview. Guess I am not alone on this. Won't be calling back. If it was legit they would leave more info than please call for an interview.

I just posted a resume on CareerBuilders.com two days prior to getting this same automated call.

I did some research and found out that there are marketing/recruiting companies that search for phone numbers in monster.com and careerbuilder.com -Then they share your number/name with other companies who are generically recruiting for home businesses and cheesy do-it-yourself insurance branches which always requires you to take out hefty loans from their own franchised lenders. I'm pissed that I get so many calls that are for Jobs not even related to my field. i am now removing my telephone number from the Internet because it wastes more time than anything.

Called yesterday at 6:48p.m. have CV in Carrerbuilders so the must of got it from there. So sad that they would do this to people looking for a job in these hard times. Shame on them!!

Got a call today our phone was messed up so we werent able to answer but now that i have researched the number im accually kinda bummed bc i really need a new job. oh well i thought it was shady

Got the same call.  Didn't call back.  I posted a resume on Monster.com recently.  I guess they are pulling names from them.

Same number called me 24 hrs after updating my resume on CareerBuilder. Didn't call back because a real company would never have a machine to contact you  regarding a job interview. SCAM

American Income Life Insurance, Liberty National or whatever other name your company goes by....when I am wealthy I will NOT be buying your insurance when you have just anybody off the street selling it to me, thank you and that is all.

Yeah, I am another one who got this telephone number.  I had just got back home and saw this on my message machine.  I figure I'd put this message up just so certian people can get the idea of how many people are being bothered by these scammers.

They left a message saying to set up an interview. After the comments above, I just deleted the message.

So in plain context, all of you are saying "Don't pick up and dont even bother  calling  back" this number? I got the same call today around 7.

I recieved this voice mail saying that I was a potential hire and to call back to set up an interview. SO excited to set up an interview...I called back, it said this was an opportunity of a life time but the phone number did not work.
It asked me enter my zip to find the branch nearest me, but this was a dead end.
It did not even state the company name.
I thought a legitimate company was trying to get a hold of me. wtf

I got exactly the same voice message.I am applying for jobs right now and I called back but I was tranferred to local office in Concord,CA but I did not apply for any job listed in Concord.

I just recieved a call from this bogus number, I returned the call only to be asked to enter my zip code.

I received a call from this number.  I am in the Sacramento area.  I have no clue who these people are but am sure they are scammers.  I believe they are posting fake jobs on Craigslist to obtain information from resumes.  do not respond to an job listings you see on Craigslist.

"Your resume has been received by our company and we believe you have the skills and abilities to be successful.  We're hiring.  And we'd like to discuss the possibility of scheduling an interview with you this week.  To schedule an interview, call us at 1-888-673-4109.  Have a great day."

I recently put my number and resume on Monster.

recieved a call message and all just the same. After googling, i found many messages referring to this as a scam, in actuality it is not, the company is liberty national. I called the number provided in barbie's message and spoke with a person who assured me it was normal for them and the persons they work with to leave message with no indications of what company it is. I visited the website and they are actually just looking for insurance agents because their company is expanding. I hope this info was helpful, and I am excited about the experience. Good thing I did my homework and didn't rely on all of the posts. Hope everyone else has luck with this matter.

i too received and email and a call today 8-15-11. my resume is on monster.com. i knew right away it was a scam because i didnt apply for any jobs like sales. i am a social worker.
