I received a text msg on my phone from "data1839@messaging.sprintpcs.com" that says:

4460-53XX-XXXX-
Issue.Call 888-673-5051

I got the following text from on8115@messaging.sprintpcs.com: "Alert:Card-446053XXXXX Issue .Call 8888420241"

My wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law all got similar messages.  I think I might just call them and give them the run around...

I have received two text messages on my Sprint account.

I don't even have a US Bank Card.  Do not call the numbers.  Does anyone know where to file a complaint with the FTC?

i got a couple of this txt msg, exactly as what everyone else got. i wonder whose 888-673-5051 is and just googled it and found this place.

I received 2 nights a text saying s2@tmomail.net// Info: Your Account 446053...Limited. Call 1888 673 5051. Then last night I got one saying 5134@tmomail.net// Notice- USbankCard:446053... Limited. Call:8772086715. I'm assuming they are from the same. Hopefully someone can figure out who they are because getting these at 11 at night when I have to work the next day is getting really annoying.

I have a TRACK phone and i gotten two tex today like what you all are talking about

interesting that you say they can contain viruses.....because my ring tone had been changed to the Nokia jingle and was on silent.....I KNOW I DIDNT CHANGE IT !! One would remember that if they did it !!!  Especially since I have one of my favorite songs as my ringtone!

I received the same one at around noon today and another one last night with 888-633-5204 and an email address of 899@tomail.net.  It said it was a Suspension Notice on my US Bank Card.  I don's use US Bank, so I knew it was a scam....I have reported it to the FCC and th FTC

I was told to call the Attorney Generals Office and report it.

Received at 2:30 a.m. last night.

Mine said "usbank-visa starting with 446053.  Issue.  Call 8888675051"  It went to my phone and to my teenage son's phone.

I've been getting these bogus text messages for about a week now. Its a giant scam. You call the number that it gives and sends you to a automated voice system.

Yep,I have gotten all three of the texts three days in a row also. The first day(Friday) I called to USBank becaue I do have my account with them and I spoke to their fraud dept just to make sure everything was ok with my acct. They stated that it was a scam that was going around right now. I also called TMobile and they said the same thing but both of my accts were fine and secure.

I replied to the text messages from these lovely folks by telling them to go f*ck themselves.

I also received a text message from this number stating that there was a problem with my US Bank account.  I knew it was a scam...considering I do not have an account with US Bank.

I received to texts on Saturday on my tmobile phone stating to call US Bank about my account just like the rest but I don't one one so I knew it was a scam.  Last night I received a text from 3603 and it stated what nancyljh got.  One question....  why can't our cell phone companies block these texts like they can block phone numbers???  Texts can carry viruses just like computers so why are they not protecting us????

I just checked my tmobile account and everything is fine.

My friend was receiving text messages on Friday, ironically her son called and had gotten the message the same time she did. At first she was apprehensive, because she DOES bank with US BANK. I just now received a message similiar to her, however I do NOT bank at US BANK nor do I use the same cell phone carrier.
