This number is from Network Solutions, I received a call some 2 weeks ago asking if I would be using any of my domain names in the future and if I would be using their webhosting service or using my own. Just a general sales/question call. Received another call from the same number this morning and no message was left.

I started receiving calls from this number about two weeks ago, every couple of days and almost always between 9-11 in the morning. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. May be because one of my domains is coming up to expire in August so maybe they're trying to get me to renew.

It's the same deal you get on the website.  The company is run and owned by marketing experts and a former cigarette company CEO.  They are all about making money, and they know nothing about what website owners/designers/managers need.

I got a call from Network Solutions for renewals. Guys name was Altaf. He has all the knowledge about Internet and the latest technology. I ask him few questions and he was very smart and intelligent. very focus and business oriented. In the past i have got many calls from Network Solutions but i believe the best conversation i ever had was with this gentleman. I wanna say all the best for his career and he did a very god job.

Guys, its much simpler to just pick up the phone when this number calls you. If you are not interested, just say you are not interested.  I've noticed that on occassions that I was not able to pick up the phone, they just dialled my number more often, when I tell them I am not ready to spend more than what I've already spent they noted it on their systems and haven't called since.  Once in a while someone would call to remind me of my expiration, which is also great :-) I got a discount on my renewals

NSI FAN your full of s*** or one of their employees . They offered absolutely no discount and even if they did it would need to be a really huge one to compare with Go Daddy's regular rate . All they offered me was their regular overpriced rate long before my expiration date and tried to mislead me by making it sound like it was coming up for renewal much sooner than it was . $19.99 per year as long as I pay for 5 years right now = 99.95 is hardly a great discount when I can pay for 1 year with Go - Daddy now for $6.95 and never recieve annoying telemarketing calls everyday like you do with Net Sol . NSI fan your so full of s*** I could probably smell you through the phone when you call to harass me . I hate companies that constantly telemarket me and Net Sol are one of the worst !

Got a call from a really wussy sounding guy called Kazir said " It's just a courtesy call to see how my services are going " which quickly turned into a sales pitch to extend my domain term for 5 more years even though it is good for 2 more years .He kept saying I would save x amount over the life term and just kept being really pushy and saying I had better act now or I might lose my domain . He didnt let me get a word in edge wise and kept assuming that I was going to do it .It sounded like he was about to cry after I denied him my credit card and told him that I would save triple the amount once I transfer my domain to go daddy with the rest of my domains . Then he started getting deperate telling me that they would charge me for tech support which is just not true seeing as I have used their tech support many times and have never been charged once . What a desperate loser . Then not taking the hint he started talking about how phenominal their hosting pakages are and that I would save x amount if I transfered my hosting to network solutions and that I would get a free domain even though I explained that I prefer go daddy . He would have kept talking all day if I had not cut him off abruptly . I could could hear him wimpering as I hung up in his ear . What a pushy sales loser some courtesy that was thanx kazir !

This number is for separate sales group working for network solutions out of Canada. Called Net Sol's 800# and asked a rep to check the number and she confirmed that they were working for Net Sol.

Actually, if you're a customer of theirs, they can call you even if you're on the do not call list.  Where I work, we can still call them with specials we're offering because they're our customers.  It's not a "sales" call, but good customer service.  That's the way the company sees it.

I sometimes get calls from Network Solutions. I don't use autorenew so that is not an issue. They call about domain names that are not due for MANY months. When I let them know that my domain names are not due for a a while. They claimed I had an SSL expiring soon. The site he mentioned does not use SSL! What's more, I don't get my SSL through netsol anyway!

I use netsol because I prefer their account manager to the cheapies. But I am not beyond moving all twelve to a new location if they make life miserable.

Network Solutions... Again. I guess since I complained to them yesterday and requested that they not call anymore I was put on their special list. They called twice today and hung up each time. Phone Number for the Executive Complaint handlers for the Executive Offices: 570-708-8700, Roy Dunbar is the CEO, Good Luck getting to him... unlike many companies, when you get to this level, they are not very pleasant to deal with nor are they particularly effective... now the story is that it takes 6 to 8 weeks for them to stop the calls... Filed once today with the FCC, now gonna have to file a second time... that'll be 3 in 2 days. https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

This is Network Solutions. They called an hung up. I don't understand why companies think this is an effective marketing practice. They are doing some kind of Telemarketing. If you've got the time to hassle with it, you can reach their corporate offices at 888-642-9675. The CEO is Roy Dunbar, 10 Azalea Drive, Drum, PA 18222. My advice file a complaint with the FCC: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

I found this page searching for information on calls from 888 676-5638>
A rude man with heavy accent who is calling on behalf of Network Solutions to renew domain names.

The company he works for is called Outsourcing Contact Center and Network Solutions is a customer of theirs. I finally asked to speak to a supervisor  - his name is Chris Badley and his direct number is 416 481-6601 x 224
I complained about the RUDE salesman who persistently calls and interrupts constantly. Please complain to both this company and Network Solutions - if we got calls for every domain name we manage I would need to hire a person just to take those calls.
I was convinced this was scam. I am so disappointed in Network Solutions! I called them twice about this.

I got a call from a guy that said he was from network soultions and wanted to know why I have not built my web site yet, Said he could give me a good deal on E-commerce package I asked him if I could pay with paypal and he said yes but that he could use my card on file. I told him that it was ok and to email his offers. He then emailed me with a offer signed by nick stulovic from marketing of network soultions. It kinda sounds like a phishing deal because he really tried to push e coomerce and the advantages and the pay pal options and direct deposits. phone # given was 1-888-676-5638 did not show up on caller ID it just said "WITHHELD" I think if I were to use his email to me that it will go to some other page and I will get screwed. His email does look ligit! But dont trust it! He also directed me NSI.COM he said it was Network soultions alternate page DONT USE THIS PAGE!!! CHECK WITH NETWORK SOULTIONS FIRST!!!!!! ALOHA FROM HAWAII!!!!

Actually, when you sign up for services like that and provide your number for contact on your account, they're allowed to call you about your account. Do not call lists are for other sorts of solicitations. Check your TOS next time you make this sort of complaint. lol
