I don't know what these rude people want, but probably money from someone.  They call regularly at the crack of dawn...I don't know the person they want.  They are pushy and aggressive.  I am elderly and ill, and they wake me at 8:00am when I already have been up half the night in pain.  I'm on the national do not call register, but they don't care. I wish someone could help me and make this stop.

I receive calls from this No. several times a day for the past couple of weeks with no message left.

One of the first - of many -  that called even tho I'm debt free, own my own home, cars, etc. It all started when I couldn't get Tracphone to port my old number and just activated a new one to get some results.

Well, I may do it again. Odds are I'll eventually get one that's quiet. At least new phones have Auto Reject calling. Since company rules prohibit answering my personal phone during working hours, it's on silent, and I surf unknown numbers at home, ID them, and block them.

STOP ANSWERING EVERY CALL - CHECK THE AREA CODE, IF IT'S OUT OF STATE, DON'T ANSWER.

If all your F&F are in your contacts, then these goofballs will stand out like a sore thumb. It's NOT Aunty Em and Uncle Henry, it's a bunch of winged monkeys trying to hunt down any source of money.

Junk debt collectors that have been known to violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by issuing spoof calls from their Phillipine call center that say "Wal-Mart". So far, at least 150 lawsuits filed against them since 2008. They use harassing phone calls on a large scale. Tape them where legal. They are still paying on lawsuits.

You are an idiot. Have you read the posts on here??  MOST of these calls are for people who do not even live at these addresses anymore. I have gotten them myself for people I've never even heard of. Some people are ignorant or just oblivious to the obvious. Read BEFORE you reply you moron.

We have been receiving calls from this no. every day for past few weeks.  No one there when we answer. I called the number back and they said they were looking for Manuel .......  After informing them no one here by that name, they said they will remove our no. from their files.  We will see!

I have answered around 20 calls from this company regarding one of our employees. When I tell them he is on the line and cannot speak, the person usually replies with a "Well you need to get him on the line, the is a personal matter." My response, "The call him on his personal phone."

Same as the other posts.  Caller is looking for someone with my same first & last name but with a different SS#.  The idiot asked me for my SS# so she could verify that I am not the person they are looking for.  I laughed at her and told her I wasn't about to give a total stranger any personal info about myself...especially over the phone to someone I know nothing about.  I told her to give me a number I could call back on and talk with a supervisor.  She told me "the calls will continue" and hung up on me.  Now they call me daily and I simply decline the call.  I am not who they are looking for but I am now determined to let them continue wasting their time.  They can call my number all they want.  Sometimes I answer and lay the phone down and wait for them to hang up.  I have my hackles up and am having a lot of fun messing with them.  They are wasting their time and money barking up the wrong tree and now that I've decided to play their game, I am having fun...and laughing a lot.

This is harsh but they deserve it !!  Buy yourself the LOUDEST whistle. When your caller ID shows
an incoming call  (unavailable), be ready with your Whistle.  Blow AS HARD AS YOU CAN into the phone. Thiis will throw off their Computerized Call OR hopefully there is a real person on the other end, believe me this idiot will have hearing problems for a l-o-n-g  time!!!   Will think twice before calling again.

I work nites, therefore my day sleep is very IMPORTANT!  These idiots interrupt my sleep all the time.  I could always turn off my phone, but why should I !!  Sometimes I am on-call so I can't do that.

Perhaps it time for us to call our state representatives so they present this problem in Washington.
There should be a law with very hefty fines!!   Since everyone's monthly phone service is quite costly, perhaps the phone companys should get involved & do good for their customers as well.
Obviously the FTC needs more help in this area.           GOOD LUCK  people.

We've been getting a call twice a day for several weeks.  I just don't answer anymore, but, when I did, no one would answer on the other line.  I just called back the number and asked why they were calling me everyday, and they said they were trying to reach someone who does not live with us.  (Actually the name was a former tenant of ours from a rental house from 20 years ago!) They (Allied) said they would flag my number so that they would stop calling. We'll see. . .

yes. It is perfectly legal for them to contact whomever they want regarding a debt that you owe. If you legitimately owe a debt and cannot pay it they will get that money any way they can. Sometimes it is a good thing that they call other people because maybe you are having problems of your own that other people dont know about that might be able to help you... But still, if you dont own the debt, then you have every right to be pissed.

So, about 8 f****ng years ago I acquired my current phone number. Since then I have made it a point to stick with the same number as long as I can, and I have. However, there is a BIG PROBLEM. The guy that owned the phone before me, Adam Something, had freaking debt collectors crawling up his a** day and night. I have dealt with calls from these companies for along time and normally just tell them that I am not Adam and offer to send them a copy of my phone records to prove it. Most have stopped except for this one company. They continue to call, and I continue to click ignore.

There is little you can do about a company calling you. If you owe money to them, they have every right to get it back. Wouldnt you call someone as much as you could to get money back from them if they owed it to you? Think about it and stop bitching about these calls unless you have a situation that is unavoidable kinda like mine. Hell, Im not even bitching about the calls, Im bitching about the people bitching. It takes me 3 seconds to ignore the call and more on with my life.

We just moved and got a new number and we inherited the persons problems that had this number before!!  You tell them to stop calling, not this persons number anymore and they dont believe you, they keep calling!

they keep calling... they called 15 times over a six months period...block them.  they are some lame company looking for someone who hasn't had the number in 2 years!!!  Then they yell at you for asking all these questions.  They're collecting money from someone yet you'd think they would update their records after the 15th call!

BS Sounds like you work for a collection agency. You can sue for  $4,500 or more and win. I do it all of the time -its my job!

Called me every day this week looking for a Leonard or Luquinda Davis. Um...I told you on Monday....Not me, never heard of them, please stop calling. Maybe they think by Friday these two people will magically appear!?

Calls everyday. Never leaves a message. I don't answer numbers I don't know.

They call me a few times a week. The message they leave states they are collecting a debt. When I called them, they told me it was for a Sears charge card I had. When I informed them I had never had a Sears charge card, they told me I am wrong and they are right.

I thought maybe someone had taken a card out in my name, so I checked my credit report and there is no Sears charge listed on there. I called them back and told them. I am STILL getting calls refuse to answer the phone when they call because they insist I have a credit card I have never had.

I have been getting calls for years from them asking if Bonnie is there. . I have explained that I have had our phone number for 15 years and there are no Bonnie's at this address. I have asked them to please take my name off their call list but they just keep calling again and again.

I get calls from this number, never answer them. Very annoying

I got a call they asked for someone that i never heard of, i then said im sorry you must have got the wrong number, and they said remember the call is being recorded and hung up/

I get calls from this number sometimes, but not as often as you guys seem to.  IF I answer, I usually do it in some foreign language.  They start asking for me and I start saying even stranger things.  It at least buys me a week or so in between the next call.
