Another Utah County company scamming the brethren just like MLM's set up down there!
Thats right nail these punks for all the scamming they have done I plan on going straight to the top. The owner needs to be jailed like any other thief and then to have little puppets working for them knowing what rip offs they are. It is soo sad that we have these parasite companies in our society.
Wow funny they refund some and not others im still awaiting my refund over 90 days later....they are just a bunch of crooks and liars
Noone can seem to tell me and the jerks supposedly are out of business as of friday. nice right? A lawyer is what I have resorted to because I have no intention of letting those fools off the hook.
please dont go with AMT audit. read my above statements they will not refund you like they promised. I still have yet to get my rebate and I did all that they asked, they found no mistakes in my mortgage and promised to refund my 269.00 within 30 days, then they told me 60 days then 90 each time i called they changed it then recently they stopped answering calls and put an answering system on that sends you to firstname.lastname@example.org and surprise its fake and gives no info....I am urging you run because they are liars
No they actually did not refund my money and i immediately handed in my refund form when they told me that they found no errors. They are obviously scamming some people and not others but what the heck the more people they rip off the more money for them. I will not stop complaining about them until they make good on what they promised,,,,my rebate. I will strongly urge people NOT to deal with them. They are nice initially and then BAM they disappear, reappear with lotttttts of excuses why you havent gotten a rebate yet. If you choose to try them put your BOOTs on and get ready for the BS
Now how do you get your money back?
I was charged 269.00 wow they do it like real scammers dont they.
yes they are helpful UNTIL its time for rebate. I initially found them helpful but now that they lied about getting my money back I hate them. They are nice in the beginning because they want to rope you into the scam Imean seriously they told me 30 days then at 30 days they told me 60 day and mean while 90 days later here I am refundless....they are liars and thats just what I told them
HATE AMT audit
They told me they recieved mine within days as I handed it in immediately and i still am waiting for a refund 90 days later......if I get it at all. I truly dont recommend these nuts to anyone. The representative hung up on me after I waited 45 min on hold then I called back waited another 45 min before not a person but a machine came on and said I would be contacted in 24 hours....LIARS that was days ago. DON'T get involved with this junky, jacked up scandalous business ...if we can even give it credit of being called a business. It should be called JUNK.
Dont believe it I am now 90 days in still waiting for the jerks to give me my refund back and check your credit card because they are known to carry out transactions un be known to the owner of the card
yep100 PERCENT SCAM i know first hand. I plan to seek legal action ASAP.
all i know is i stupidly signed up to have them audit my mort and they claimed they found no errors and that i would get my money back in 30 days. Well here i am 90 days later still trying to hunt these sorry a***s down for my refund and all of a sudden they had an audimated machine that sends you to a fictitious web site and they dont even have the decency to answer their phones and when they did answer in the past the hold time is no less than 45 min an they talk a bunch of BS excuses why the refund is taking so long>>>> DONT DO IT PEOPLE RUUUUNNNN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION RUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!! They are liars.
here the info you need.

Kust got a letter from a company called Consumer Services Sivision 888-251-8706. Same thing give us $285 and we will send you up to 30K in return. A little to good to be legit. You got the process down EXACTLY!! how they claim it works.
Did you read this damning BBB news article on AMT refusing to give audit refunds and charging $49.95 every month?
http://northernindiana.bbb.org/article/AMT-Au ... -Tell-BBB-34231
FYI - did my research - they have switched their name to Consumer Home Services - same company - same old story! Buyers Beware!
Well, I ain't real happy with scammers ripping off desperate homeowners who may be looking for money in this imploding recession and I ain't about to reveal whether I've had any "first hand experience" because the scammers and shills like yourself read 800notes and I value my anonymity. Positive interaction? I'm sure all Ponzi's victims had positive interactions as well or they wouldn't have entrusted him with their hard-earned money, some with their life savings. Shills ignore the facts like AMT's BBB report http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/loan ... ork-ut-22302183 with F=FAIL rating and 44 complaints, 38 of which AMT failed to respond to (AMT ignored all BBB complaints after the first 6). There is none so blind as she who will not see. Go ahead -- slide down the razor blade of life. Enjoy!
Thanks for posting links. I'm aware of them but they do not accurately describe AMT's unique MO.
1. AMT's audit is a fee-for-service offer that does not involve the homeowner's bank. The typical FTC scenario would have AMT negotiating with the homeowner's lender and this is not the case here. Homeowner pays AMT $149-$299, homeowner receives audit results and AMT goes away. IMO, the ban on up-front payment described in the FTC articles does not apply to AMT's fee-for-service audit because AMT is not offering mortgage relief to homeowners such as a loan modification or lowered monthly payments. It's strictly a service provided for a fee like getting a haircut or your tires rotated (I've no idea what made those examples pop into my head and no, I don't need either).
2. The real money to be made lies in the negative-option, 30-day free trial of $49.95/month 30to8 Debt Software that all homeowners are signed up for behind their backs when they buy the audit and which turns into a live subscription unless homeowners cancel in time. The software "saves" or "refunds" the allegedly horrendous $interest charged by the banks on mortgages. Gullible homeowners who decide to use the software will end up paying several $thousands over several years for something they can do for FREE and get the SAME "savings" or "refunds." The software offer is not described in either FTC article. I don't know if it can be construed as something that provides "mortgage relief" to the homeowner and hence subject to the up-front fee ban; my guess is it won't be.
Both offers above are "white elephant" offers -- they work but homeowners might as well be throwing their money away if they buy either. Because they do work, the Feds won't shut down AMT just like they refused to shut down United First Financial who brought us the $3,500 Money Merge Account. The 30to8 Debt Software is just a privately-branded version of the Money Merge Account that charges $49.95/month instead of $3,500 up front (we are in a recession so $49.95/month is more palatable than $3,500 up front). The real money is in the 30to8 software, not the audit, and it's not described in either FTC article.

Forensic Mortgage Loan Audit Scams: A New Twist on Foreclosure Rescue Fraud
excerpt from consumer alert
Fraudulent foreclosure ?rescue? professionals use half-truths and outright lies to sell services that promise relief to homeowners in distress. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation?s consumer protection agency, the latest foreclosure rescue scam to exploit financially strapped homeowners pitches forensic mortgage loan audits.
In exchange for an upfront fee of several hundred dollars, so-called forensic loan auditors, mortgage loan auditors, or foreclosure prevention auditors backed by forensic attorneys offer to review your mortgage loan documents to determine whether your lender complied with state and federal mortgage lending laws. The ?auditors? say you can use the audit report to avoid foreclosure, accelerate the loan modification process, reduce your loan principal, or even cancel your loan.
Nothing could be further from the truth. According to the FTC and its law enforcement partners:
there is no evidence that forensic loan audits will help you get a loan modification or any other foreclosure relief, even if they?re conducted by a licensed, legitimate and trained auditor, mortgage professional or lawyer.
some federal laws allow you to sue your lender based on errors in your loan documents. But even if you sue and win, your lender is not required to modify your loan simply to make your payments more affordable.
if you cancel your loan, you will have to return the borrowed money, which may result in you losing your home.

Let them steal your money and let us know how that works out for you.
Anonymous - All your responses are angry - you seems to be very upset at AMT auditing. I am considering an audit - I am curious to find out if you have any first hand experience of your own, if so what? I have had nothing but positive interaction so far.
B.S. The Company got a C&D Letter from the stte of California. (CEASE AND DESIST ORDER) TO STOP ALL MARKETING AND SALES IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA! NOW IF THEY WERE SUCH A GOOD AND PRUDENT COMPANY WHY WOULD THE BIGGEST STATE FOR SALES OF MORTGAGE AUDITS INSIST THAT THEY STOP ALL CALLS, MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS IN THEIR STATE?
Apologies, here's the link to the BBB http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/loan ... ork-ut-22302183
Re. "was assured that the money will be posted back in my account", please be aware that the BBB report for AMT Auditing Sevices LLC but DBA as Mortgage Auditing Program, Enlightened LLC and CRM Ventures LP currently shows an F=FAIL rating and 41 complaints with 35 failures-to-respond. It's been N complaints with N-6 failures-to-respond for a very long time now that suggests AMT has simply ignored all BBB complaints after the first 6. And the BBB is still unaware of California's Cease & Desist order to AMT at this time http://www.dre.ca.gov/pdf_docs/loanmod_drs/H5785SAC.pdf Given this poor track record of handling complaints, I advise you to call AMT back for a hard date on when your money will be returned and if your money isn't returned on time, to call your card issuer to claw your money back and to replace your card because of fraud.
925-203-3XXX are landlines in Pittsburg, CA operated by MCI WORLDCOM COMMUNICATIONS, INC., CA but CallerID cannot be trusted because calling numbers can be spoofed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing
just found out
I also called this number and waiting approx 20 mins to finally talk to someone and yes everyone that i have spoken too were cooperative & friendly. I was assured that they would send me their contact informaton via email. i asked if i may have it over the phone but in a slyful way he changed the subject & i never received their maing address or email. i did however received a customer service # 877 762 0725. my caller id also showed the call was coming from California 925 203 3431. i asked why this was & was toldthat its their headset. I already made the mistake of giving them my card number. I called back to cancel after I have read all these post and was assured that the money will be posted back in my account. To save my lettter just in case if I change my mind in the future. I than search (national mortgage settlement) and found a website that lead me to (nationalmortgagesettlement.com) which had some helpful information. If you look in the right hand corner it has a link for states. There you will find a list of attorney general websites for your particular state that you reside in. follow the links and call the number. I just called the number they provided for the bank we deal with. Each bank has its phone number for the mortgage settlement questions. Try that route.
I just spoke with a Jordan Rhodes at supposedly AMT Division today in response to a letter I received with a recipient case #------- and the price of their services is now $299.00 up front, going up everyday! Thank ya'll for the feedback. My initial instinct was this was a scam, and I am glad to have found this website. By the way I was laughing out loud at "anonymous" interaction with the rest. HAhahahahahaha. Funny. Buyer beware. If it sounds too good to be true, it surely is.
i got the same letter that you got and they wanted $299.00 also. i gave them the money using my cc and i cancelled it today after reading alot of responses from other people about what a scam this all is. they told me i should get my refund back on my credit card within 3 - 5 days, we'll see.
