I have received a call from these people disguised as 757-453-2117. Ive never had a payday loan. Am up to date on ALL credit cards, car note, mortgage etc. Called a family number who has an unlisted number. He is furious and filing a complaint with BBB and our local AG's office. Whereas I practice law I see this type of practice all of the time but never had this personally been done to me. They picked the wrong one this time! File your complaints and keep your information in a file. This could lead to a class action lawsuit!  Be smart not intimidated!

I will not give info I'm not stupid but know your calls are scams.

They are a fraudulent debt collector trying to collect debts that have been paid, written off, are aged, and/or are otherwise ineligible to be collected by law.  They threaten legal action, which is illegal in itself, and often call people who in fact have no debt at all, nor any connection whatsoever with Advance America.  
For the record, they're calling me (by name) to issue legal papers and I have never, ever had a payday loan from anyone, including Advance America.  In fact, I have no debt from anyone for anything.
This is not a legitimate debt collection agency.  Their illegal and deceptive practices are proof enough of that.

They called my parents house in a different state saying they were the Mass Dept of Civil Proceedures.  My dad didn't give them my info but wow.

Calls once a day at all times of the day. When answered no one is there.

I work at a hotel and this number calls every afternoon but when I answer there's just silence.. even if I say "hello!?" a few times, there's no sounds, but they don't hang up either. I don't know what it is but I'd like them to stop calling.

Said it was Ms. Miller from CNU.  Asked what CNU stands for and she replied that it was a personal business matter.

Never got a call from this company but got a call from another company in regards to this debt so thinking that the people I am paying might be a scam so gonna call advace america debt collector this morning when they open.

They were calling our business looking for an individual I have never heard of.  I called the number back and asked to have our number removed and they noted that it would be.

Does not know my name, uses a distand spelling of my previous married name.  Says i is Mr Gower of Cash USA.

Yes, apply advanced america is legit but I also got ripped off by someone claiming they were these same people so be careful!

Identify themselves as C.N.U. = Cash Net (a/k/a Cash Advance a/k/a Cash America) - (888) 686-9577.

Even if you don't owe them, have never done business with them, advise them they've called for the wrong person (as in my case) - they just keep calling and calling and calling.

This number is Advance America, the payday loan people.  If they're calling you, it's because you owe them money from a payday loan.  They are a legit business with a legit reason for calling.

Called my google voice number looking for someone that isn't me.

This person calls from a place called Cash Net, Even when you tell them they have the wrong number they still call all the time like the answer gone change!!

Shows up on Caller ID as Maria Barrios. They want to talk to an employee of our company that works in another department. I suspect a debt collector.

They sounded like they were calling from space or something, then they said their number and I heard a typewriter.

Didn't answer. I just got this phone# this week so there is no way they are looking for me. I think they are looking for the person who had this phone# before.
