Received a call from 888-694-6909. Caller ID listed it as TOLL FREE SVC. Left no message.

Some how they called my cell phone which I do not give out how did they get my cell

This is Chase Credit Card. I took my auto pay off and forgot to reset it so I was late on a payment. Someone called me from this # to remind me. Nice Lady. She reversed a late fee for me and set up auto pay again. If they are calling you its because they believe you have a card with them and there may be issues with it.

We got calls from this # too claiming to be chase. It sounds like these fraudsters are still at it.

I just got a call on my home phone from this 888-694-6909 number. But's not even in my name the phone is under, it's in my boyfriend's name. And it's a VOIP number through magicJack and not even listed ANYWHERE! A total of 3 people who don't live here, have this phone number! I've never put this number on any application for anything, because we don't really use it and don't want these numbers calling us!

The funniest thing isn't that I could barely understand the woman, or that she couldn't even pronounce my name, it was the call back number she left me: 800935321. She was missing a digit, and she said the number twice. I listened to the message four times to make sure it was correct! LOL

Just got a call from 888-694-6909. He asked to speak to my son. Informed him my son is deaf and cannot speak. He didn't identify himself and said "sorry" and hung up. Hope I don't get any more calls... and where did they get my office phone anyway?

I got a call from 888 694-6909 tonight, did not answer.  Claimed to be from chase, but after reading comments here I do not believe them.

Please file a complaint with the FCC for each and every call you get.  You can go online to FCC.gov an look for FILE A COMPLAINT - especially if they are calling your cell phone.  It is the only way to stop them.  The people who write here that the numbers are legit are lying.  Thats why they say "CARD SERVICES".  These people are phishing for your credit information and are vusing a fake caller ID saying CHASE.  PLEASE BE SMART AND PROTECT YOURSELF.    The more complaints the FCC gets the more pressure they have to find these creeps.  You can fill the form out on line and submit. The more we all do this, the quicker these scammers get discovered.  When they call my work number, I have even waited until they ask for someone, and then I tell them I am transferring the call and connect them right to the FCC at 888-225-5322!!  Please use all of the resources you have to stop these people from trying to get our information!

When will everyone realize that a LEGIT financial institution will never make a phone call to you about a problem (unless you know the bank official personally).  They will always send a letter... a letter...

Another one claiming to be Chase bank. I finally just asked them "Whats my balance and the address to send the check to"  I was put on hold and disconnected 30 seconds later:)  If that's not a screaming "FRAUD FLAG" then what is?

lol they called my number for someone by the name of Tony Ferreo ???? Who is that and that is 1000% not me. I am a girl!

Its a collection call from Chase Bank. I'm going BK, and they call me every day. Gotta get those papers filed soon.

We, too, were getting calls from this number. They were asking for my elderly father who has dementia and does not live at this residence. It's so sad that they prey on innocent people -- especially the elderly. Our next call is to the local police department.

I got a call from 224-222-8005 and it's definitely a fraud.  I had a 15 minute conversation w/ someone from this number claiming to be chase telling me that I have a passed due balance and that I can pay it over the phone right now.  I asked for a call back number and she gave me 888-694-6909.  She gave me all my correct information, which is very scary.  She knew the last 4 digits of my back account that I last paid my bill on, my address, phone numbers, everything.  She never asked me to verify any of my information when sce called, except asking if I was Mr. Smith.  Yet, I had her change all my information, ie., address, phone number, everything, without any questions asked.  It was very weird.  By the way, they called me at work!!!!!  I've never received any calls at from any cc agencies and I never give the number out!

I hung up on her and then called 888-694-6909 and there was a recorded msg that said, "The phone call is being recorded," and then someone immediately picked up.  That never happens when you call these credit card companies.


So, I called the real Chase number that I found on their website and he told me that I would NEVER have been reached by anyone from Chase because my wife is the primary card holder and I'm not even listed on the card!

Keep getting calls from this number. The leave VM stating that they are Chase Card Services. I called my local personal Chase banker and the told me EVERY CALL IS LOGGED in their system, and there was NO RECORDS OF THESE CALLS and thus are NOT FROM CHASE.

Received a call today from 888-677-7021, and had the same experience as everyone else.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know, so they left a voicemail with the callback number, 888-694-6909.  I was immediately suspicious and looked up the number, which landed me here.  I was prompted to search because of the message - "some interesting information for you" from Chase Card services, as well as the very thick accent (India).

Needless to say, I will not be returning the call.

I got a call from 888-649-6909 which was answered by another member of my household.  The caller said he was from Chase Bank, but would not give my family member any other information and told me to call back at that number.  When I called back, there were none of the trappings of a professional answering service.  What I heard was a scratchy, ramshackle sounding recording that said "This call will be monitored"  followed by the sound of the recording turning off.  Without any transfer someone with a strong Indian accent immediately began to question me.  At that point I hung up, because something definitely seemed off.  

Based on all my other interactions with banks and professional services in the past, this call really seems like a scam.   My best advice would be don't give them your information.

A dozen calls from 224-222-8005 starting early this morning, every hour or so. Runaround when I ask them to stop. They are asking for someone who I've never heard of. They do not care that they have the wrong number. One person gave me this number to call: 888-694-6909. Calling that number sounded like the same bunch. They told me they are "Chase Bank" which I find hard to believe. Unable to speak with any manager or get anyone's name.

This # had called me several times over the past week, finally, I called back. A guy answered and couldn't tell me why he was calling.. but asked me if I would give him my social security # to find out if he could find me in the system.  Then when i refused to do that, he said he was from Chase bank and wanted my debit card #.  I just laughed at him and asked him if he was nuts and hung up.

That number (888-694-6909) is a valid number for Chase Bank Credit Card Division, they called my  elderly mother and were asking about her payment and stuff.So I called a friend of mine who is a manager at the Chase Bank here in town.She ran the number through her system and it was the credit card division.(late payment division).That all I know,so take it with a grain of salt,just thought I'd voice my experience

I can't find that number on the Chase website either. Do you have a link to area of the Chase website to confirm this is really Chase?

In my situation, I have been getting calls mulitiple times a day from 847-488-3003 and tonight is the first time a message was left.  The person was nearly mumbling and speaking so fast I had to replay the message several times to get the number he told me to call.  He claimed to be calling from "Chase Card Services" and that he had some important information that he thought I might need.

The number he asked me to call was 888-694-6906. The legitimate calls I have received from credit card companies and banks typically leave return numbers that are the same as those they call from, or the number at least matches the one on the back of the card.

But if someone can provide a link on the Chase website, then I would love to see it.

I just rec'd a call at a work office number from a male with a fairly thick accent asking for the owner by name, so I know they got a calling list.  He claimed the company name he was calling from was Jay Scott Services, looks like a somewhat ligitimate company name but still gave the same call back number of 888-694-6909 that was also claimed to be a Chase Bank rep in a prior posting.

I just got a call from "Chase Card Services".  They only asked for my name and never asked for any other information from me, SS#, or anything else.  They informed me that my account had an overdue balance and told me the amount of the balance.  I verified that this was true and also verified the amount they said via my online Chase account, all while I had them on the phone.

Finally, I asked them about the number 888-694-6909.  They said that's the number of Chase Card Services!  So, the call which I had received two days earlier, leaving a message and asking me to call this number was entirely legit!

Note, this person never asked me for any information other than verifying my name.  They were able to tell me that my account was overdue, what my minimum payment was on the account, they told me my street address and my phone number.  I never gave them anything other than my name.

This number sounds legit to me, and I'm glad they called!  Apparently, I had lost a previous bill, but it's all taken care of now.
