. . .and this is why when you get an unknown call you should press NO numbers. Just hang up. You have NO idea what you're really pushing a button for. They say you signed up for something. You say you didn't. In the meantime they get to use your money for a few months. Nice racket, eh?

This number is now charging our phone bill.  I don't know who they are and have tried looking the company up with no success.  They charged $9.99 each month for the past two months.  I had my phone provider block the company.  My phone company said you have to reply twice in order the charge to happen.

I am being charged on my bill for this number. .50 each time, yet I have unlimited text messages.

I've gotten messages from this number for a month.  It hasppends everyday.  I am tired of it.  It is a totally spam.

Normally when you get spam messages from numbers that you don't recognize.  You can get them to stop by replying to the number with "STOP" or "UNSUB"

My Hubby Kept Getting Text Msgs From This Number And It Showed Up On Our Bill As A Chat Line And Charged Us $4.99 For Each 1. I Feel Bad Cuz I Accused Him Of Cheating Through Text Dating. Lol. But After Researching It I Found Out It Was Spam And Had It Blocked.

This is REALLY bad. They better stop it...

I received spam messages from sms.ac (888-697-6722) every morning. I called the text message department of my service provider (Sprint). They help me to block this number and this ID with no charge. They also waive the charge on those text messages. Hope I will not get any message tomorrow.

Where do I go to file a complaint against SMS? I really am sick of all the low lifes out there taking advantage of everyone. What can be done to stop the A**les.

How do you go about filing a complaint, and to whom. I am having bad problems with this SMS crap.

I have gotten $59.88 charged on my this months cell bill and 49.98 last month every time I get a text from these people I DO NO REPLY and still am being charged.. WTH.

I got the incoming sms charge $8.00 every month which I didn't subscribe to.

i've tried numerous times to get these a***oles out of my life,,,,what can i do next,,their delete pages dont respond and they have a bunch of links to send  u on a chase to nowhere,,,i'm ready to sue these f****rs

I am facing the same problem and I think something has to be done. I also receive text message from SMS and am charged with service I didn't subscribe to and didn't know about. I am filing an official complaint.

I got my number about two months ago and have been receiving jokes from 55455 everyday since, I just checked my phonebill and was charged CND$50  for the service I didn't know I had. I contacted my phone company, but they told me they can help me because I had subscribed to service my own(which is not true i have never subscribed to this service),just gave me the 1888 697 6722 number, but no one ever answers to this number, I decided to reply to one of the messeges I received from them and it worked. I just sent "STOP" and got response rightaway: " at your request you will no longer receive any messeges from 55455. for more info: www.glomobi.com". I don't know if they are the same one you guys are talking about-sms.ac or someone different, but thanks to you I think I got rid of them.

Happened to my son. he apparently bought a ringtone -- or texted something to the TV show "Heroes." idiot.

I sent the email and got the undeliverable message, but immediately got this message:

Per your request, I have canceled your account. No new messages will be sent to your mobile number as of the time of cancellation. Occasionally, previously sent messages that are currently in queue will be delivered after cancellation of your account. Please allow 48 hours for any pending messages to be cleared from our queue.

I am getting the same messages up to 20-30 per day.  How can I get reimbursed for these.  I have over $100 in charges in the last month.  Sprint says that they cannot help me that I subscribed to this service.  I have not subscribed to anythng.

Thank you so much for the advice, I was going out of my mind when I realised that I was being billed an excess of $50 and over extra on my cell phone bills. Apparently this was going on for over 4 months. I emailed then just like you instructed and they replied within a few hours. Hopefully this will be the last time I hear from them, the phone company have refunded some of the money, I am waiting until next week to see if the remainder will be refunded.

I just emailed the email above and got an undeliverable....I hope these text messages stop.  If anyone else has more info, please share.  Called my carrier and they also advised me to change my number

I think it worked - awesome - I emailed and text messaged - I was joining the class action lawsuit against them.  Got immediate response about canceling my membership - what that was to I will never know...

I just had the charges reversed (since July!) from these f******. It came to CDN$120!
What I would like to know is how my number got into their hands..?

I have started receiving 2-8 of these messages every freakin day for about a month now...

And today when I received my phone bill for last month, I was charged by these freaking messages. How can I stop them? Help pls!

Okay, i've figured out how to stop this company from sending text messages to your phone. All you do is send them an email, and tell them to stop or (as i read at the top of this page), that you will file a class action lawsuit against their company. I told them what the issue was, and that they better stop. They replied right away, and i havent been getting anymore messages from the SMS.ac company.

Email them at BJordan@corp.sms.ac (or support@corp.sms.ac like i did, but then it will transfer you to the other email)

Make sure to say your phone number, and the country that you are from, and then they will reply that by 48 hours at most, you will no longer recieve any more messages from them.
