Annoying calls and threats!!!

Scam fax for loan mod

Is anyone else, particularly in California or Minnesota, receiving unsolicited fax messages from this number? Our Consumer Rights Firm would like to hear from you.

Mine had a phone number to opt out:  866-247-0920 which I did - I guess will have to wait to see if I get anything further but thought I would share

We received the "Attention Home Owners" fax at our office this morning. Hopefully, people will see these posts and not fax back to these people again. A lot of these bogus faxes are attempts to find out if a list of fax numbers they have are ligitimate so they can sell the lists to others who want to sell you something.

Yes- annoying faxes, wasting my resources, and then harassing, retaliatory faxes wasting even more when they're told to remove.  So...it's time to get rid of these losers, people.

Here's some info for all of you.  

First, do *57 on your fax machine to attempt to put a trace on the number.  It gives a 'marker' for anyone who wishes to subpoena the info from the phone company - AT&T in our case.

Then go to FCC website  here:  https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088A  Fill out the form and submit.  If we can get some of these people up on charges, it will make the world a better place.  

I'm going to start filing on every junk fax. We're on Do Not Call list and have no need for any of these services.  State Attorney's office says it's clearly harassment and illegal.

I also phoned the FCC here: 888.225.5322 to be sure I was filing the correct form.

Same here...got mortgage modification junk.   I told them to remove me.  Then received 16 pages of black, toner-eating crap.  I am going to go the Federal route as well.  Anyone have any contacts in the FCC?

I'm also sending to STate Attorney's office for Florida.

I'm sick of these dirtbags.

Like many businesses in this tough economy, our office budget is very tight. And unnecessary funk faxes, received with no opt out information, are wasting money. And like most people, I am worried about keeping my job! Toner and paper is way too expensive to waste. Since there was no opt out information on this unsolicited fax, there was no choice but to contact the Federal Communications Commission. Obviously, from what I've read in these online reports, this fax sender won't accept a faxed request to remove fax numbers from their list. Thank you to all others who gave reports, the FCC and to this website for helping our office save money.

16 pages of black after i asked to be taken off list...

SPAM fax for govt backed loans. No company name, no tele number, no number to get off fax list. They left fax number to get a quick reply. I faxed back and asked to be taken off list and they faxed again 14 pages of nothing with hate language and vulgarity included. I am sending it to the Authorities at the FCC for compliance.
