i just got the same s***! what is this about? anyone knows?

Fyi, an update, after contacting Consumer Credit Helpers they took control of the situation i was in with this debt collector. I guess this agency turned out to be  legitimate company and that person who was supposedly coming out does not even work for them...Very confusing, thought it was some sort of a scam, i was freaking out!!! but I don't even care... I have not received anymore calls. The person I spoke with was able to get me all the information I needed. No more calls !!!!

Feb 12, 2013, received 8 calls, 2 to my wife's cell, 1 to my daughters cell, 2 to my cell and 3 to my home phone from this number with-in a one hour period. Messages were that they were serving me with papers for a debt. I answered one call and was told I was being sued and they would be at my house on Thurs. Feb 14 2013 to serve me if I did not call the 888-709-2083 number which goes to a collection company.

Anyone know about this company? I see that several have said they received calls about "serving" you but did they follow through?

And another Board commercial by  the folks at  Consumer Credit Helpers.  Still trolling for bucks...

Were you ever served papers?

Recvd call stating I was going to be served. Not calling tjis # cause they don't follow rules. Don't say who from or anything.

Received several harrasing calls from 888-709-2083 referencing a name we do not know.  Please shut down this phone number.

I have just recieved another one been recieving these calls for sometime .  I have called this number back and trying to get information from them is like pulling teeth.  i find out what my rights are as a citizen through a consumer group, Consumer credit Helpers Complaint department after reading he above post...great service, Thank You!

same call.  So if you get served, go to court, refuse to pay and prefer to go to jail and sit the fine out... again who gets paid other than the county?

I got the same call, they call a relative  and left a mssg  that I was being served. Can they do that? Some like scam....Any Idea what it could be?

I received a call from them but i checked my voicemail and that was when they told me i was gonna be served. I have no idea what this is about. Did they serve you?

I got a phone call Monday the 21st stating to contact this number because Wednesday I will be served papers for a bad check and intent to defraud an online payday loan. they told me it was from.October 2007 and to pay 800 Monday or go to court and pay.over three thousand. I explained to them that I'm seven months pregnant and unable to work and have no job that if I really towed this I would pay with my taxes the guy became very rude threatening me about going to court and jail so I told him I was recording our call and he became irrate telling me its illegal and I can take it up with the judge I cant figure out if this is legit or not and I am freaking out.

Smells like a major scam!
