I never Pressed any number, figured I would stay on letting the message repeat itself...and until there was silence.

I have received numerous calls from this number, this was the first time I answered and listened.  I thought about Pressing Option 3...and see if that would stop the calls.  But decided no....let them keep calling, I have the option to not answer or pickup and let them repeat themselves.

Stupid People with nothing better to do than Hassle the Consumer...one day you would think the Phone Carriers would get their act together and stop annoying calls, give us the Power Option to Press 555 to block last number.  Oh well, maybe by the 22nd Century.

decided to answer and it's a automated call with no greeting or introduction,just asked to verify p.o. box 424 (?)if i was the owner of this address just p.o box number that's it no zip,state,city.and when i pressed the prompt indicating i was not this p.o box the message said sorry and hung up.I will update if i continue to get these strange calls from this number.

As regards a "company" doing business in ANY state, in particular, a corporation, if you want to know
"WHO" is thier agent for service of process, just log on to THAT state's , let's say : CA/gov, Secretary
of State's website, type in the company's name, and you will get the name of the AGENT FOR SERVICE of process. This is good for whoever is serious about sueing a harassing collection agency.

if a company i owe money but default,  after a reasonable amount of time trying
to collect the amount i owe but does not  and writes it off as bad debt, as a business
loss and gets a corporate tax credit for the entire amount, than turns and sells the debt
to a collection agency and pockets the money---however small..... isn't  "double dipping"?        Ditto with the collection agency.  although they may have bought the bill
five cent on a buck,  after trying to collect and get nowhere...  takes the full face value
of the bill as a business loss--that is the amount they lost, irrelevant how much they
invested in buying it........   out of their taxes as a business loss and turn and sell the
bill to a..... aren't they "double dipping" too?    heeeey.... how do you get in this
not-double-dipping business?   looks like it has potentials.........LOL

I am reporting this number to FTC .. if you go to FTC.gov and file a complaint it goes into a bin and if it is the same number over and over then we have a good chance to stop this harrassment

888-716-0010 calls about 3 times a day; it's after 8 pm and they just called again. The person they're looking for doesn't even live here; it's like the phone no. belonged to someone else a couple of years ago. BUT - when I told them so, they still call. Blocking is next, they're getting on my nerves.

I got a call from this number on 3-18-09 at 8:30 p.m.  I didn't answer it - I have no idea who these people are, is there anything we can do about this?  Please let me know

we have had the smae phone number for over 10 years about a year ago they started calling our home phone #. its an automated call Asking for a Marion Smith. Not only are we not Marion Smith we dont know anyone by that name. We have an unlisted number and have no idea where they got our # or who this Marion is. the peole we bought our house from 12 years ago did nto have the last name smith either. nor did they have the same Phone number we have. Yet allmost everyday we get an Automated call saying its an important messege for Marion Smith. and that if I am not them to call thier number. I refuse to call thier Number for fear its some scam of some sort.

I have read all the postings here and I am not surprised in the least! I owe NO money to anyone and have a sparkling credit score! I am reporting these CONS!

lways gettin calls never leaves messages.  Who is it?

Twenty three times I have been called from this number without having had any message left.  There may possibly have been more calls but my caller id only stores 60 numbers and they account for 23 of the calls.

They keep calling here for someone named Patrick Hines.  I've never even heard of the guy.  The info said that if that person did not live here to call that number, but when I did I just got another message to call that very same number if Patrick Hines did not live here.

I will change my phone number again to get away from these bozo's. I wish there was some law I could hit them with, but I know of nothing I can do. (Had my ID stolen fifteen years ago)
