I'm a "receptionist" for an insurance company and I have gotten 2 calls from this number, weeks apart. The same lady asking for a "Rudy Vasquez" and I tell them they have the wrong number, she tells me "ok keep on lying, we're filing a lawsuit" or something of the sort. Not exactly what every one else seems to be getting, strange none the less.

This number calls all the time. I think my brother has not paid his child support and now they got my phone number. Jeff Bowen is leaving the message.

He only leaves messages on my answering machine.  He doesn't even sound real-like a tape recorded message.  Jeff Bowen claims that he "has information about  a family member" and can't reveal the specifics on the phone.  I must call him back to clear up the misunderstanding.  This person needs to get caught!

Debt Collection Agency that doesn't Identify itself.

Jeff Bowen is also the caller who is calling me, it is in regards to "a file he got about someone I know",and he just cant leave any info on my machine.... he leaves no info on WHERE he calls from, or WHO he is calling,.... this reeks of a scam, if I continue to get the calls, this will be reported......

Calls at least every other day.

Just had a voice mail left on my cell phone from some John Gamble stating that I had some ?conflicting factors in my file that needed my immediate attention?. I than called and had some Shawn Collin speak to me his extension number is 1509 I dialed number 1.866.314.8431. I checked them against the better business bureau and they are not registered. According to the Federal Trade Commission no collection company can threaten you in any way, you can call the FTC make a complaint and have the company cease and desist on all their calls.

Same type of messages left on my answering machine.  Don't know of anyone with debt collectors either and think is is just random calls.  I tried answering it once before the machine and the guy hung up.  Is there some way they are making money on just making calls?

caller ID said 866-314-8431 but jeff bauhn or bond said to call him back at 888-721-8850.  All a recorded message stating that he had a file in his office about someone I know and needs to talk to me... yada yada yada.  Sounded like the same voice on a similar voice message left for me from a different number about 2 months ago, that was much more aggressive about a debt I supposably owed. (I follow all of my credit ratings and reports regularly and owe NO debt to anyone!)  
I didn't call them this time, but a few months ago I did, and they gave me a different company name than they stated on the voice mail, and were deffinitely phishing, aggressive, and RUDE when they knew the jig was up.

That page also lets you know where to complain regarding debt collectors.  I've reported them to both since I don't owe them anything.  I've also reported them to the consumer protection agency in Wisconsin since it could be fraud.

I called them back.  This is most definitely a scam.

They called me 2-10-11 same thing same extension and I reported them to the better business bureau and the state attorney general.  I was told they are a SCAM and do not give them any information at all.

SCAM ARTISTS! WATCH OUT!!! The messages they leave ARE pre-recorded, but they make them sound live. Just wait until you get the same one over and over and they can be from different phone numbers. They act friendly, but are mean dirtbags if they don't get what they want from you! They are fishing for information about you and your family then will try to look up and find dirt on you, your family, or anyone who has a similar name because they have info you gave them. They will try to make you pay debts that are fake or are not yours. ALL A HUGE SCAM TO GET YOUR INFO AND MONEY!!

i got a call from shawn today. a blaine called the other day asking for my ex husband and when i told him we werent married anymore he wanted to know how to contact him beings i dont know how they are calling here all the time. they say they are debt collector and i do have that debt and i dont know if i should trust them because they do have the information correct or if i should call my bank immediately

I called the number back using *67-1-888-721-8850.  The recording gave me options.  The company never stated their name.  I pressed an extension an waited for 30 seconds.  There was no muzak or anything to wait for a fake represenative. Then another recording came on and said that there were no customer represenatives available and to leave a message so they could call me back.  I used a fake accent and told them that we are looking into them.  I have no overdue bills, & if I did, why didn't they send me a letter first?

Same message - same stupid schpiel.  they have my work number and do this repeatedly.  the number has been reassigned within my company and is just one of multiple internal extensions - so i know it's a scam -- there is no possible answer other than that...

I have had three calls from this scam number trying to elicit money from me!  There is no company or other name when I call the number back.  It sounds like a fake process server/wage garnisher.

I got a call this morning from 888-721-8850 the caller stating his name was Mike Smith. Indian accented as usual. Said his company name was Federal Credit Law Offices. Funny they called me yesterday also Mike Smith 916-395-0000 and I told them today that they really needed to get their act together. Not to call again.

I've never considered myself racist, but I'm beginning to really HATE these people. Whenever I see someone of this nationality I just want to go off on them.

I get these calls in cycles about every 2 - 3 months, its been about a year and a half now. I'm tired of it.

OMGosh.. this happen today to me too.. exactly.  He [Tom] called my mom first (im over 40 years old and havent lived with my mom in over 20 years)... when i called him back I was furious.. he gave me some bogus story that I owe $$ from a past bank account from 2006 and that he was going to process paperwork tomorrow and sue me... He was a total a**... This is crazy.

My mother received a call from this number by someone name Shawn. He told her that he was helping me out with a legal issue and that I had left her number as my contact number. When my mother told him that I did not live there (I haven't lived there in 15 years) Shawn gave her his extension number and a claim number. I have no idea what this is and would never give out my mother's phone number as my contact number. When I called the number he left 888-721-8850 , a recording comes on to enter the ext # so I did. I got this Shawn's voicemail which said he was with Imperial Recovery Management. I didn't leave a message. I cannot find this company online and am hesitant to call back until I find out something further. Has anyone received a similiar call from a Shawn??
