Called the number back.  No dial tone.  Digital voice came on saying, "Connecting to Operator."  A woman then came on saying, "This is customer service.  My name is Ashley, how may I help you?"

The National Do Not Call List doesn't apply to businesses, you're in business after all. Either way I don't get it, what's so shady about getting a phone call? Are all you people paranoid black helicopter types?

I got a call claiming he was from.  All i heard was blah.blah.blah.. we can save you money on my telecommunications expenses.. blah blah blah... then another call from the same number selling insurance... what is this????

They claim to be Farmers Insurance. They call over and over. Told not to called over and over.

This is a generic number that several different companies use to call out from a call center.  I called the number back after it called me 3 times, and I had to give the opperator my phone number so that she could tell me what company in the call center had called me.  When I was transferred, it turned out to be someone in Singapore who wanted me to outsource web design work to them (I have a small web design business and somehow they got my number).

This B%$#@ called me 3 times this week, couldn't even speak ENGLISH. Said something about Call Box Blah Blah Blah and I Hung up. What's this world coming too Now we have to know 5 languauges. CLOSE OUR BORDERS NOW!

Caller asked for owner by name and about liability insurance. Claimed to be Farmers Insurance located "in" Wilshire, Los Angeles. Caller hung up when I asked questions.

Same thing happened to me, just asked me for my number and I gave it and she could not hook me up with anyone. Told me to call back in 30 minutes and then the call will show up on her computer.

I just did a follow-up using the 888 number, got the central operator story.  Shortly thereafter I was called by a representative indicating he is with the

an outsourcing company in the bay area.  Claims they are an IT outsourcing company, looking to provide services to companies.  It turns out that the company/individual who call me is a telemarketing company out of encinitas, CA.  And according to the Forbin group (just called them indicating that I would file a complaint with the state and federal for violation of the donot call registry)the telemarketers are only supposed to be calling "businesses".

I just got the call from this number but I didn't answer it.  Instead I googled the number which brought me to this site. They did not leave a message so I have no clue who it was

This number just called my office in Eastern Canada.  I quickly looked it up here and didn't answer.  I love this site.

The company is called Call Box, they do telemarketing for a variety of companies.  They called my company today offering their services.  Their other number is 1-888-810-7464, ext 1358 for sales.

I wouldn't want my company associated with a shady company like that, especially if they don't respect the do not call list.

Just got this nuisance call.  Who would do any kind of business with a company that shrouds itself in secrecy???

These Guys called my office number twice today

I got a call from this number twice within 3 minutes of each other.  A lady answered and said that I had called a Central Operator.  I asked what company she worked for and she said that they answered for numerous companies.  I then advised her that she was calling my Work line because I work from home and advised her that if they did not take me off of their calling list since I am also on the National and State Do Not Call Lists that I would be reporting them to the FCC.  She said that she took my number out of their database.  I then blocked them from ever calling again.

This number has been calling my cell for weeks.  I never pick up.  i blocked my number and finally called back.  You get a weird switching sound on the phone and then some operator answers.  They don't tell you anything and say they need YOUR number in order to forward the call.  Sounds like a  total hoax or ripoff to me.

Didn't answer call; did not recognize number and it had no name or company.  We are on National Do-Not-Call list, so someone is calling about something we don't want.
