I got a call from this number, as well as an 888-763-2429. I am going to assume it is the same place. They did not leave an actual message on my phone, but I heard some background noise like talking and then the click that they hung up. Who are these scammers?

United Recovery Systems called me and asked for my daughter...Collection agency scum

i keep getting calls from these same Aholes. Multiple times per day. I have no money, have been out of work for going on 2 years,have spent every dime of savings, sold everything I have of any value. The last time they called they asked if I had considered selling my car. I tried to work out arrangments with all the banks and creditcard companies last year. Only one would work with me FICA and I have paid them off. Chase refused to work with me, raised my interest rate past 30% and hit me with $500 per month late fees until my account which was only $11k is now over $35K. Now they say they will settle for $5K, how screwed up is this country. American Express did the same thing. refused to work with me and now will take $3K to settle a $8k balance. Why did it take a year and all of these extra charges before they had the decency to willingness to work with people who have hard times going on. I had a great credit rating for 30 years, now I am screwed in 1 year. All of you collection agencies can go %$*& yourselves. I will eat and pay my mortgage before I give any of you a GD dime. So call all you want you bastards, you have gotten every last cent you will ever get from me.

How is it that they can call and call and call.... I have no money, I am going through a divorce.  my soon to be EX husband has locked me and my children out of our house. I have had to attempt to start new again... I was told by the Lawfirm of Victoria, go ahead, charge what you need to charge , worry about paying it off later... and because I had no more money to give the lawfirm, the QUIT me... now I have no representation for any of the court hearings for this divorce... I have an incureble disease (Multiple Sclerosis) and I am no longer able to afford my medication to keep my MS in control. My EX makes 85,000.00 per year, and I only get 20,000.00. I cannot afford anything but rent, a loaf of bread and some milk. now what do I do with these goof balls calling me. I have nothing... and they want more.. and I STILL HAVE NOTHING....

These people are using call banks, with 733-1270,733-1264,733-1243,733-1271. I have gotten up to five calls in three minutes when the phone goes to message or privacy manager.  The callers are very insistent, very rude and patronizing. I have given up trying to stay calm with them.  They also use numbers in the 866 and 800 area codes.  Today I received 24 separate calls from these people; do they really think that my situation can have changed so much in nine hours? And 'peach' has a very valid point about identity and safety.

A person named Windy called,asked for me or my husband, when told neither was there. Started asking when, replied do not know, Windy said they will be there in the next 30 minutes. reply Don't know. Asked who answered the phone. None of your business. Now mam' you must know something your answering their phone. I have to say in this day and age, when our children are told not to give out info over the phone or internet. Who do they think they are calling, and using a threatening voice? Where do they get off. if you ask me, collection agancies should be banned. make the companies do all of their own debt collection. Totla crap

United Recovery Systems are a bunch of scammers and crooks.  They will make threats unless you pay them the money you supposedly owe.  Funny thing is I paid off the credit card they say I owe money on TWO YEARS AGO and had the account locked!  Never once did I hear about any past due payments from the credit card company before these calls started coming in either.  The d-bag's name who keeps calling me is Jim O'Somecrap-or-another.  I'm about ready to get my lawyers on their a***s, this d-bag literally calls me ten times a DAY!

I got a call from this number.  They left a message saying they were from the law office of James A West, Attorney.  Attorney's don't call...they write letters.  I googled the number and found out they're really United Recovery Systems.

I've had this phone for two months. Everyday I get calls from different 800, 888, and 866 numbers. This is odd because I'm the only person who has this number. Members of my family don't even have it. It's an emergency phone. I don't want to waste the airtime arguing with someone I don't even know. This is a "pay as you go" phone and could become costly.

I just want to know, how did these people get my cell phone number?

In the past three weeks I have received over 10 calls from this collection agency, asking for "Mary Peruvia (not sure of last name, seems like everyone pronounces it differently.  I have stated over and over again that there is no Mary as this phone number and to remove my number from their data base.  I have had this phone number since August of 2003 and these calls have started in the past three weeks.  I called 1-888-733-1265 on 6/30 at 8:30 in the evening and told them not to call my phone number ever again.  The person who answered the phone told me to have a good night and hung up on me.

YES I DID THE EXACT SAME THING COZ IT IS ANNOYING PLUS ISN'T IT ILLEGAL TO  CALL SOMEONE B 4 9 AM AND AFTER 8 PM?   THEY HAVE CALLED ME AT 745 AM AND UP TIL 1145 PM

Believe it or not, they left a message this time, kinda.  I heard it click over to voice mail and moments later heard some noise, like somebody's making these calls from their daycare or something, seriously.
Then, i swear to God, "Sea of Love" started playing...creeped me out when I thought back to that Al Pacino movie by same name.  I am tempted to call them back and play recording of...SOMETHING VIOLENT!!!  Will have to research a violent song ...maybe "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" LOL just the beginning bit is enough to get the message accross!
I hate these people.  Should be taking care of the daycare kids, anyway, instead of playing on the computer and stuff.  Sheesh!

Person named Ashley...condescending b from h.  Tells you if you can have a phone than you must be able to make these payments.  Doesn't let you speak...just keeps the pie hole going. This collection agency is unforgiveable...

Keep getting calls even after I told them they have the wrong number. I am ready to have a lawyer represent me in this case. No not your lawyer, one of my 3 lawyers or maybe all of them will turn the knife real nice like. You better stop calling my number. I'll find your a** and as illegal as you are I can be ten times worse. Say a prayer to God Moth-- Fuc--- cause I'm coming for you.
