left a voice mail on my work phone that I couldn't really understand, from india or something. Then they sent me an email with this verbiage.
" I am a Recruiter with KGTiger and we provide recruiting support services to fortune 1000 companies
My teams work in tandem with our client's executive talent organization. They have asked me to reach out to you personally about a need and I would appreciate 10 minutes of your time to tell you more.I promise you it will not be a waste of your time! When can we connect?"
My note was from Ashe B at kgtiger.com, website is not working right now.

Don't know why this company would call me. I'm retired and have not posted my resume on any site. What got me, though, was that they called at 6:00 A.M.!

I've been in contact with one of the persons from KGTiger. They claim to be working for other companies and I submitted my CV to one of their job offers. I had an interview with them and didn't notice anything strange and they didn't ask for any weird details or cash.
The only weird thing is that the position I was applying for got suspended, and they promised that they will contact back when the position opens again. This is when I started wondering if they are legitimate, but I can't see any other weird sign. Even the recruiters from KGTiger have contacts in their LinkedIn profile withing the companies for which hey claim to work.
Does anybody have real indications of fraud like being asking for money or bank/social security information? I can only find this thread on the case and there is no explicit experience, just speculation and intuition.
Any positive experience?. Did anybody get a job through KGTiger?

I think is is a scam...I received a phone call regarding a job ...the "consultant" has a weird accent..either Indian or African or something like that...I told him that I had a corporate job and wasn't interesting on sales...he start asking me about my salary which I didn't answer of course...he asked me about relocation and then to send him my update resume....
I started to do an investigation and I think this is a scam...because the address on their page doesn't exist...actually I found the house across that address and you could see its not offices around a lot :
http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/12-Passaic- ... /38309347_zpid/
thanks God I didn't send my resume...

I'm getting the KGTiger calls now too. At least 3x a week for two months now (ignoring them all). This one is Emanuel and leaving an email address @KGGroup.com or something like that. And yes, has an Indian accent.
I agree it sounds like Phishing.

Called my unlisted work phone asking for me by name. Considering I haven't put out resumes or applications, that's pretty classy. Claimed to be a recruiter from KGTiger, said he found me on LinkedIn and changed topics when I said my number wasn't on LinkedIn. They've done this to me before, obviously phishing for information, presumably to sell.

I have received several voicemails from Arian George with a heavy accent from KGroup. I am not looking for work but he got my info from Linkedin. I am concerned they are just looking for info.

Got a voicemail from someone with an Indian accent stating he was with Walt Disney. Some educational opportunity in China. I wasn't born yesterday! Guess 'tis the season for the crooks to crawl out from under their rocks!
| Kelly 2011-11-17 16:52:21 Unknown |
Said they were calling from Walt Disney for an exciting opportunity.

I got similar call from 888-738-5815 at my work. The lady who called told me that she got my info from linked in and they have some job openings. She was just collecting my info without giving any specific information about job detail. Looks like overseas caller from accent. I have asked her to shoot me an email but she have not yet. Market is pretty good these days, why we need someone to assist in finding job!! and that to from overseas:)

I just received a call from this number offering me a senior accountant job. Apparantly they saw my resume on monster.com. Does anyone know if these guys are for real or is this just a scheme? I am looking for work, but if this is just a temp agency then I'm not even going to waste my time nor my aggrivation over it.

Received call yesterday and today from 888-738-5815, Mark Brown of KG Search. Says it is regarding job opportunities with large companies. Checked out their website and seems legit but am concerened that he will not e-mail the job description as I have asked to review before our conversation.

Recruiting company- I've been getting calls from this number for the past 3 weeks. When I told the person I spoke with that I'm not on the market and not interested in any position he said "why not?" I thought that was weird. He kept leaving me messages. His name is Vije (spell??)I asked if he was calling from England since he had British accent and he said he was calling from NJ. The weird thing was he called me 5:30pm California time which is 8:30pm New Jersey time. What recruiting company works that late? I'm convience he was calling from somewhere outside the US.

Same as everyone else. Indian accent, offering a job position that I don't need or want. Check this out: I contacted NJ Chamber of Commerce, they don't know about KG Search. BBB doesn't know either. 11, Passaic Avenue,Voorhees, NJ 08043 is a empty lot in the middle of nowhere...I bet you they are a collection agency...don't call them back. Also, why a senior executive answers to this blog...VPs are usually busy doing real business.

Got an e-mail. Somewhat unprofessional. I thought it was spam at first. Suspicious that no last name was used. The position seems to be legit, judging by the way the opening was described in the .pdf attachment.
Then got the voicemail. Not pre-recorded, professional sounding, not from America-but I don't mind. No last name again, so I am still suspicious.

I have received two calls from this number. Their reason -- to recruit my expertise for a "critical assignment in psychology."

This was a recruiter for IT.

I got a voice mail to call 1-888-738-5815 with the KGSearch spiel. Caller ID was actually 1-973-594-0940
Interestingly, this was about one week after I got a call from 1-650-213-2757 asking to speak to me by name and hanging up after I identified myself.

It's a recruiting company called "KG Search." http://www.kgsearch.com
Don't know anything about them, other than receiving a cold call. Couldn't find an entry for them at the BBB.
