Got a text message on my personal mobile phone from this number along with a web address of co@tmomail.net.  Coincidentally I also saw something fishy with my checking account.  I called Chase immediately and they just informed me that I did the right thing by NOT punching in my debit card number and PIN.  Everything else looked OK on the account, but they will be watching it, as will I. Anybody know who this is?

Text message said account frozen call 8887438117.  I did all the wrong things and they took $1300.00 out of my checking account.  Am heading to the credit union to try to fix this. I thought it was the network that my credit union was affliliated with.  I'll never do this again.  The text message had a number 3551 attached to it.  You could text back to it I guess.  Are we suppose to report this to the FCC?  It is fraud over the air waves.

This is clearly a SCAM person trying to get Credit Card and Bank Card numbers! DO NOT CALL BACK OR GIVE ANY OF YOUR INFO TO ANY OF THESE PEOPLE.I kept getting these calls everyday on Tmobile.I tried reverse email address and couldnt find out a name. I filed a form with the FCC because Im on the Do Not Call list and I ask that you do the same. Lets stop these scammers from taking our money and minutes from our cell phones and trying to get our Credit Card numbers.

I received a similar Text message today:

x0@tmomail.net // Notice:Co-Op-Service.Card-Frozen.Call At:(877)447-5851!

From 3894. Be careful, especially if you're on unemployment - Michigan UI uses debit cards - someone can easily mistake this as a message from Unemployment Benefits!

My text said, "co@tmomail.net / / Info: Co-Op- Service. Card- Frozen. Call At: 866 263 3186
I called and it said it was unavailable
Just wondering why they would try and scam someone if they don't even have someone answer the phone.
Also, is this something I should be really worried about?  I didn't give my information out to anyone (that I know of) I just withdrew money from a co-op ATM today... :(

I got a text at 8:17p from serv315@messaging.sprintpcs.com  and the text said FMB-Card-Locked.Call at 8887438117  Just as I read it I knew It a scam.   You have too question everything and someone at these companies are in on it,  That's just BS they  have too much info. about  customers, they should have a better security system.

I received my call at 11:20pm, though I'm in Arizona so that 2 hours behind EST.  It said the exact same thing that you all wrote.  When I called it, it told me my card would be re-activated again after three easy steps.  The first of which was to enter my 16 digit card number.  I'm thinking, "Which one???  I have 14 credit cards!!!"  Needless to say after I pushed 0 and didn't get an operator, I was suspicious.  This is a T-Mobile phone number pulling the scam (I know because I have T-Mobile and recognize the email address associated with the number).  Guess I should call them and see what they have to say ...

I got a call after midnight from this # - Same details as Ela. I went one step further and entered 16 zeros and the automated message was that it was an invalid card # and to enter my 16 digit debit card #. So they're trying to get debit card #s so they can access bank accounts. There are so many scams going around. My husband also got the same text message. I'm calling our carrier today. There is an email address: co@tmonail.net

I got a text at 12:56 am from sender 3574:

co@tmomail.net / / Info:Co-Op-Service.Card-Frozen. Call At: 888 743 8117

This seems to be the same type of scam people were complaining about in August from a 877 #.  I called the number after reading other posts to find out the name of the company so I can report them but the automated mssg is cut off in the beginning - goes almost directly to instruction to enter a 16 digit card #.  Obviously, no reputable company would neglect to have their name heard by customers.
