Yes, I started rec calls on Tuesday. It is a complete scam. I have contacted the sheriffs dept and have reported them. They have also been calling my job so once I caught on to them, my work has blocked them from calling. I also am now calling them continuously everytime I get a chance. They are using the name Ted Kennedy and Richard Miller. The guy gets real mad because I am giving right back to him. keep calling them and eventually they will stop bothering you. Don't be afraid, fight back and give them a run for their money. Next time I call, I am representing myself as my own attorney ha,ha,ha that will teach them!!

What ended up happening with this? Did they actually serve you? I received the same voice message today about dropping something off. I am in the same situation and trying to do some research. I do want to pay back anything I owe but don't want to be scammed. Please let me know. Thank you.

I received a call from a Micheal Miller who is using a blocked number and a Mr. Benton.  I have reported them to the FTC, filed a police report, hired an attorney and contacted the attorney general.  Both of them still call and I ignore the calls.

I received a call from Ted Kennedy a few times. He was extremely rude. Wouldn't give me any information. Said he was going to send the police to my work to have me arrested. I said for what . He said for passing bad e-checks. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up. He called my supervisor's number after I spoke to him the day before and left a message for me on it. He said it had something to do with my bank, Wells Fargo. I haven't banked at Wells Fargo in years. He then called me and left a message for my supervisor asking her to call him and that its regarding me.  I believe its a scare tatic to exhort money from me. I would like to find this disruptible company. They broke so many debt collection laws it isn't funny but what do they care. It isn't a real debt. They are scam artists.

I received the same message but from a guy with a different made up name.  He was obviously reading from a script and also claimed that he would be coming to serve me at my home or place of employment between the hours of 1-5 and that I would need a valid ID in order to sign the "papers I was being served with".  Who does that?!!  #1-If this was concerning a legitimate debt, last I checked, your local county sheriff's office serves you if you are being sued.  #2-What makes these idiots think that even if they were to show up at my home or job, I would agree to show them my ID or sign anything?!  #3-If this so called debt is owed, why haven't I received one piece of correspondence by mail??  I'm just wondering how many people actually fall for these type of scams and end up out of money that really don't have.  Absolutely ridiculous...

I just got that same call, saying his name was Ted canady. he told ne the exact same words, he told u. i hate cramp, like this.

called 15 minutes ago stating his name was Vince Johnson.  Said that I have a "service date" scheduled tomorrow between 1:00pm and 5:00pm at my home or place of employment.  I should consider this notice and have my identification ready at that time.  I was given a reference/account number.  WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never stated the company that he represented or call to make payment arrangementss.
Not calling back.  
No time or money for foolish threats.
If they are coming with a valid debt, serve it.  If it is a false claim, serve it anyway.  I need a good laugh.

This same thing has happened to me and they have my bank account information. What did you do to stop this?

Michael Miller left this number on phone about a case he has.  It was on a private caller ID.  Its a payday/title loan in which my car was repossed.   I owe nothing.  Will go to court to fight them!  He has called with many harrasing calls and different numbers to my job and cell.  Ive kept all recordings.  Ive reported this!
