I don't like getting the called by your number. My legal Right to turn you into the Law. We have been getting calls from for weeks. I called them and they say they haven't call my number. I ask then how did I get your number. Very rude individual then said nothing and hung up.

somebody stole my information and open an account in IL while i am livng in WV. they had my ssc, my dob and opened an account with direct TV.
Debt collector called me in summer of 2011 and i sent them all my proved of living in WV and police report id number, they said after that they will remove me from the debt collect. then Jan 2012 they started to call me again about the cable that i didnt open in IL 2011, then i have to pay them $500 to close my account. the police in WV said they cannot do anything with what happened in IL, so i have to pay it.

Have been receiving calls from this company stating they are trying to collect on a debt.

NOt the phone book - internet spam engines. So easy. Try it yourself. Type in your name and see how many possible names jump out. It's easy to see they can't all be YOU. but these rotten debt heads don't care. They work minimum wage and are looking for a percentage...

You would think the brand new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) could help us. It seems all debt collector laws and rules just explain what to do if you are contacted about YOUR OWN debt.

But these jokers keep calling me about someone else. This has been going on for several years and no matter how many times they pretend to take my name off the list, they call back. RPM is the worst offender and has been at this game for ages. Today RPM called in the evening but another collecter named Cavalry Portfolio called during the day for this person that we do not know.

I HAVE to answer the phone, I am the emergency contact for an elderly relative. But I my heart pounds when it rings early in the a.m.. and late at night. So fearful of a medical emergency or worse. Then it turns out to be these scam artists -- or their pre-recorded messages -- abusing me and my phone number.

These people should be forced to pay the consequences for harassing the wrong people. They've been asking for that other woman for so many years that she's probably out of their reach by now. BTW - I've had this phone number for 20 years -- so there's no way she EVER had this number.

I'm reporting to NJ attorney general's office. Please add your voice to the queue.

I get several harassing phone calls every day all hours.
They keep asking for a particular name and when I tell them she doesn't live here and tell them to take my phone number off their list they say ok but they still harass us
They sometimes call and hang up  I put my phone on an answering machine and it rings twice and they don't leave a message

This is RPM, a junk collection agency, they are trying to collect a debt which is already expired as per the State rules.

Just got a call from this number. missed it {oh darn}. called about 4:24, left message. listened to the message, sounded like a dull, low tone, or a bad burp. frickin morons!

Unwanted call from 888-745-9332, Sept. 27,2011, around 4:20 pm, did not pick up the phone as I already checked out the comments on that website.

Automated voice. Seems like phishing scam - asking us to call for "debt collection." We don't have debt or late payments - never have.  After reading the other comments on this forum, will not call them

I got a call from this number right before lunch today and they left a message that was half cut out. The only thing that I got from it was that they were a debt collector.. well I have no debt or bills that I haven't paid so I don't know why they would be calling me... If it is verizon yes I have them but I have never missed a payment or anything so I am at a loss..

I called it just a couple of minutes ago because i was curious and have hadf a bad day and iam in the mood to go off on someone HA HA LOL LOL just kidding ! its 10:11pm and i called it and someone answered so that tells me right now REAL BUSINESS ? I think not they dont stay open at 10:00 at night and furthermore They answered RPM and then when i said someone called me early and i was just wondering who and why i was connected to someone else saying RPM.so i said i wanted to know who called and what was the purpose of their call .the man mentioned that he would go check and see but thinking logically first of all you are suppose to ask for a telephone number right or a name something so you can go find out . so then just because i wanted to see what the guy would do or say i waited 4 minutes before i hung up. YOU CALLED ME!,Iam just returning your call .if i have to wait and you seem suspicious to me then yeah you have 4 minutes no more and this is, if i have the time or feel like dealing with you.Thank you for wasting the 4 minutes of my life when i could have done more productive things.

Got a call from this number that didn't leave a message.  When I came here to see who it was I found out it was Verizon debt collection.  I have never had anything to do with Verizon.  They called me several times from another number that never went past 2 rings.  I will NEVER have anything to do with Verizon in the future now since they obviously like to harrass people!!!

Phone number is RPM, a scavenger collection agency that collects on old outdated accounts. Ignore them. I Just block their number.

Got a call from them today.  Called them back and got a rather rude female telling me they were trying to contact a person that had the same number over 6 years ago.  Informed her either cease and desist the harrassment because we have nothing to do with him and if they did not stop we would be contacting the Washington Attorney General and the Attorney General of the state we currently reside in.  She claimed our number would be removed within 24 hours (from the horror stories I've been seeing, I've got a feeling I'll be filing complaints.

This is one of 3 companies.....call constantly ... never leave a message.  They are harassing...call all hours, any day.

These RPM people are absolutely unbelievable!!  I made the mistake of answering the phone one time a few weeks ago when I wasn't in the position to check the caller ID, and ended up hanging up on the woman on the other end who was literally shrieking at me, probably because I wouldn't tell her what she wanted to hear.  I expressely told the shrieker not to call my number anymore, that if they wanted to contact me they could darn well do it by mail... didn't even slow them down!  In fact, they call MORE frequently since I told them not to call at all!

Today, and this is a Sunday, mind you, they have called 14 times since 9:00 this morning, all from different numbers... it is now 4:15 and their robot just called from 888-745-9332.  Time to start a blocked-numbers list on my phone, anything to get this garbage to end!  I work at home and have to listen to the phone ring all day, only to look at the caller ID and see it's them again.  If it continues, I will change my phone number, which is already nonlisted and nonpublished!!  I hate to go to such drastic (and inconvenient!) lengths, but these low lifes don't hear anything you say to them and I'm tired of being harassed in my home at all hours of the day and night, including weekends and holidays (they called 5 times on Labor Day, for crying out loud!).

This is a bottom feeder collections they use voice over IP so they have numerous phone numbers ...I already blocked about 10 of there numbers....757-990-8975 is one of their numbers too....

Who the hell is calling me from this number?

I've been getting calls from RPM for YEARS.  I thought I had it blocked but just started getting them again from this number.  They want a Jamie Dillon.  I know they just look through the phone book and get numbers that look like it might be the person they are looking for.  They have gone so far as to say that Jamie must be a friend because they used my phone number.  NO THEY didn't - RPM got the number and think they're sly.  Well I'm tired of it.

I am about to track down this "Jamie Dillon" myself and get them what-for.

This company has hundreds if not thousands of different names/phone numbers. They call here even before 9 am which is the LAW for calling people and AFTER 9 pm which is illegal also. They are dispicable; won't answer ANY of your questions. I've noticed since Obama got in office these calls have become twice as bad as previously. I have considered it to be revenge from this corrupt administration for not filling out ALL questions on their overdoing of personal questions on the census last year! I heard in advance that that has happened to several others in past years. GE is calling people nonstop asking personal info about if you have cameras/security systems at your home and if you own it. I told them I'm not THAT stupid to tell a stranger on the phone what I have in security so they could start sending their thieves who've stolen our taxpayer money already, to my home to finish the job. THEN I HUNG UP. I suspect I'll be getting many many more WEIRD govt supported business calls from the worthless General Electric company.

They have been calling us for several months from several different phone numbers and asking for several different people. Often they hang up if we ask who they are. They never name the company that we supposedly owe money to which is fine because we don't owe anyone money.  Listen, if someone owed you money, wouldn't you find them and speak to them face to face?  Wouldn't you hunt them down?  Or would you just hound them with voice mails from an answering machine in the hopes they call you back several months later?  They are not real. Do not call them. Do not waste your time with them. They know you are not the person they ask for because they know the person they are asking for is not real.  What they want is you to call them back so they can charge you for the call.

These people are the biggest bunch of morons known to man.  I received 6 calls in one day and never got connected.  I will just ignore the calls.  I will report them, tho.  I never have got to a real person, so I don;t know who they are.  I don;t owe anyone.
