Same as both comments above.

He called me, said his name was Jason, and that he could help me with my credit card debt. However, I do not own any credit cards (just debit cards) and told him I am not interested. He seemed impatient, and said that I should call him back if I was interested and left this number. He then hung up before I could say anything.

I am on the TPS, and will be notifying them.

Male caller who identified himself as Jason. Seemed annoyed that he had to leave a message rather than speak with me directly. Claims to have called several times, and since he "doesn't want to bother me" that this will be the last contact. Offering assistance with credit card debt.

Credit card companies always have a debt solution company they recommend, and almost always the one they recomend is legitimate. What they don't tell you is tht once your in their program they wreck your credit rating. They don't do it until you have had them reduce your credit line to what you already owe.
One thing for sure, you can't borrow your way out of debt.

I actually called the number back and they helped me in a credit counseling program to get my rates reduced and they are looking to help my mom as well.  I am 2 months into the program and everything seems to be going through as promised

Just received message from Jason at Debt Resolution Center on my work line atating that he had tried to reach me several times (um, no).  Called back out of curiosity and to hassle them a bit, but got to a voice mail box that was "too full to accept additional information".

Debt Collector
Received a voicemail at work from someone named Jason who said they had called and left several messages to resolve credit card debt.  Left his name and the phone number 888-747-2532 and that the name of his company was "Debt Resolution Center."  Since I've never received other calls I was suspicious and did a quick Google search on the company.  Found out this is a known scam.  I never give out my work number for this type of thing.

I recieved a call as well same guy Jason. He has not tried contacting me as he has stated in the voicemail. The voicemail just sounded like a scam so i googled the called back number. Thanks for posting this everyone. I agree The post by "Fred Richardson" is from someone at their company. It's the only person in this entire post to put their whole name. They aren't too bright.

I got this exact same phone call from Jason with the Debt Resolution Center. He said pretty much the exact same thing as everyone else had heard. I'm still a dependent and I have no credit card in my own name, so I'm sure I have no debt. I'm glad I was able to find this!

Non-profit Organization
Same here!... I got the call so i called the number back, then got in touch with Sam. He helped me consolidate all of my payments into one simple monthly payment. In that proses he said that he would be able to lower the  rates on my cards.....

i looked them up and did a little research before I moved forward with it. I found out that they work with a non-profit company. Now I could say that I'm very satisfied with their services and am happy that I made that call back!

I just received a voice message. The caller identified themselves as Jason and left the following return number: 1-888-747-2532. He indicated he has tried calling and getting ahold of me several times, which is incorrect, and also expressed a wish to help eliminate my credit card debt, which I do not have. Appears to be a scam. Using a search engine, I found folks with a similar experience as my own and am therefore filing a report with you. Thank you.

Google maps has

Jason from the Debt Resolution Center called me and left a message lieing that he had called several times. He left the phone number 888-747-2532.  When I called back I spoke with Sam who confirmed that Jason had just left.  I asked Sam to give me the address of his organization.  When I stated he was required to do so by law he hung up on me.  So I called back again.  This time I talked with Kevin who reiterated as corporate policy the fact that they do not give out their address.

Fraud.  Calling Sheriff's Deputies government issued cell phones and claiming they got the number from forms filled out at banks or at online Debt Settlement websites.  Just trying to get credit card info from people.  Claimed to be based out of Costa Mesa, California, but refused to provide a mailing or physical address or any other phone numbers for their business.
