You guys must not be talking about the same Community Debt Resolution Company based out of Houston TX because I just finished a 3 year program with them & I saved $40,000 on my credit card debt & am now debt free with a higher credit score than I had before I started...Wonderful company, very helpful & courteous customer service!

I got a call from them today and tried my best to run them away by just babbling away at them about my debt and I even included debts I really don't have like 2 large gambling debts I owe casino's in Atlantic City and Vegas and they didn't even flinch. I could not get rid of them and I must have talked their ears off for 30 minutes or so. They must have good training in patience because I truly tried my best to run them off. About 15 minutes after I hung up on them they sent me this nice email on how much they enjoyed talking to me and how much they look forward to working with me. They have a whole lot of forward looking to do! :o}

Got the same notice today.. adding the 800 number to spread the word.... 888-692-3039.
Here is a government website on money matters..
http://www.ftc.gov/moneymatters
Also.. look for websites that have ".gov" to further qualify a site as official. Do not implicitly trust ".org" sites.

I got the same letter I hope no one fall for that JUNK mail. $17,293.00 The check look real good DO NOT DO IT.
jake 2010-03-20 03:11:27 Unknown
I actually got thIs same letter from them over 7 months ago and thought the same thing. But I researched them and found out that they are actually 1 of only 20 companies out of 2000 that are accredited with tasc. The regulating agency for all debt settlement companies. So I went ahead and tried them and I have been very please so far. They settled my b of a card at 20 cents on the dollar within 4 months. I am very with them and can testify this is not a scam. One of the biggest difference with this company was that your start saving money from day 1. No other company I found does this besides them.
Good luck

I received the same letter including the following info (as stated below):
(888) 311-9311
NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF PLAN
16192 Coastal Highway
Lewes, DE 1995
mi2 2010-02-27 15:02:45 Unknown
Thanks to sites like this, I am avoiding a lot of scams. Mine was also a letter from:
NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF PLAN
16192 Coastal Highway
Lewes, Delaware 1995
Also the amount was $17,293.00 but the phone number is 1-888-311-9311.
mark 2010-02-20 18:51:54 Unknown
I found a legit company that is part of tasc and usoba and has a good rating with the bbb, the phone number that i called was 1888-703-4948 and than i visited their site at www.nationalrelief.com and it explained me the pros and cons of debt settlement
JB Houston 2010-02-13 21:02:51 Unknown
Wow! I am qualified for $17,293.00 also! Got same letter,
what a joke. If it sounds to good to be true, than its not true.
Nathan Cooper's posting was so persuasive (NOT!) Idiot can not even spell.
Throwing the letter in the trash.
rham 2010-02-04 20:52:56 Unknown
Same as all above (mine was a "letter"): $17293.00 (avg of debt in my area), looks like an IRS form and has what appears to be a check attached but states under the written amount: "This is not a negotiable instrument. No cash or actual value." The web address is a ".com" so I immediately knew it was not a true gov't website (generally ".org", never "com", at least, never that I've seen). Also, the "letter" comes with "tear-off" ends, much like some W-2's, that further perpetuates the illusion. Very misleading. Phone was 1-888-312-0014, address:
National Debt Relief Plan
PO Box 1802
Washington DC 20013
Googling the web address led to some consumer websites that confirm it is a commercial business with comments you can read for yourself. Google "nationaldebtreliefplan".
Grace 2010-01-21 17:19:31 Unknown
I just received a mail from National Debt relief plan with tel no. 800-894-0399 with address at 16192 Coastal hwy. Lewes Delaware 1995. The letter looks really official like the IRS forms informing that we're qualified for $17,293.00 debt relief. IS this a scam? Pls. help and any comments and ideas will highly appreciated

I got to the same letter as everyone else. When I researched this through the Better Busines Bureau, they never heard of them. Sounds like just another scam to put more people into even more debt. Some debt resolution. The phone number they gave me was 1-888-231-8943
KingKrikkit 2009-11-16 14:30:49 Unknown
I received the same letter, and as I do have significant debt I looked this up. I'm a pretty trusting guy, but I'm not stupid, I found many references to this mailing that says that it is indeed some sort of scam.
The number on mine is 1-888-824-4364.
It does look very official, but is not.
I wonder if they even scam enough people to pay for the printing and mass mailings they must do just to try and grab even 0.1% of the people that get them. Must work, but I try not to be one of those uninformed that fall for the "too good to be true" garbage out there.
bri 2009-11-14 16:32:01 Unknown
Same letter with a different #888-824-4364 what a joke!
Sandy 2009-10-28 22:52:58 Unknown
I'm wondering if this National Debt Relief is legitimate and trustworthy. I talked with a representative for about an hour yesterday and it is government ran and FDIC approved and yes they do charge a fee but they settle with your creditors for you so you're paying the creditor about half of what you would've paid and in half the amount of time. What's been your experience thus far, since your message sent earlier says you enrolled?
Martha 2009-10-19 00:01:58 Unknown
