Just got a voicemail from Ben Watson. He called from 713-766-4288. He left on voicemail to call back to their office at 844-715-7280 and refer to "tracking number" given in voicemail. A man answered and stated it was "Dalton Management Group" trying to serve me papers, as the guy who called was the courier company a "PCS Couriers". Said it was in reference to an old defaulted Loan through Spot Loan. Stated that if I agreed to work with them I wouldn't be served. Beware- this is a scam!

I received a call as well from Dalton Mgmt Group. The lady (Melissa Cole) that I originally spoke with 2 wks ago apparently is no longer working there as of 3 wks ago per Mr. Jovigo. How is that possible when I spoke to her 2 weeks ago. They had a lady call me yesterday on my cell stating she was going to serve me with papers and that she has been trying to get ahold of me but couldn't. That was the first time that b**** called me. Its a waste of time!!!!

this "company's" address is a UPS store in Amherst, NY.   not a real business address.   Their registered agent for licensing in NY is an attorney who works out of his house.   Just licensed in June 2013.  Appears to change company names often. They contacted me with 2 different business names, Dalton Mgmt Group and Alliant Capital.    Can't get owner info anywhere, but think it is a woman in FL named Susan Serio.    Too many red flags.  

Call blocker might be your best bet.

did a little more research.  Their address is a UPS store in Amherst, NY.   clear red flag of a scam.   also found they have changed names at least 4 times in 2 years...another red flag as scam.   don't give these people the time of day.  Their website is also a red flag as it has Alliant Capital as company name and refers to itself as Dalton Mgmt Group once. Easy to tell they cut and paste verbiage as they change names and forgot to fix one. No phone numbers listed, no real address.   I will find out exactly who they are and where they are located and if they are even licensed and report it to every agency I can.   Also calling UPS store in the morning as their policy prohibits companies doing this.

Called parents saying I listed them as a contact and brother saying I was being served on 3/11.  surprise!  No one came.  I use a google voice account which does give my real cell and called.  answered Dalton Mgmt Group.  I requested debt validation.  They emailed me a letter with Alliant Capital letterhead.   said I agreed to a payment arrangement.   I emailed back requesting debt validation.  just waiting for them to screw up because its a super easy way to get an easy few grand when they break FDCPA laws.  lawyers will take these on a pay if you win basis.   don't be afraid; use their harassment to your advantage!  

This is so funny Ben Watson has been calling me for the last three days he call my job today to say he's coming to my job  and coming to my house to deliver the document. I informed my boss at work what was going on and they were waiting for him to come today. I have not heard from him it is now 6:25 I'm still waiting. The number he called me from Was 713-766-4288. I'm putting his a** on blast. These third parties trying to collect money from a debt no one has paid they've already put it on your credit. So why in the hell are they bothering us for money. Not to worry about this Dayton management group they never delivered the document.

BTW:  the email address for the company is bogus as well.  support@daltonmgmtgroup.com - I sent an email requesting their address and fax number because I refuse to call from any phone and this is what was returned back:

Received another call today by the name of Ben Watson for some courier service with documents to deliver to my home.  I inquired to what address did he have and noticed that he called my job from a different number than yesterday.  When he called yesterday to my cell it was from a number with the same area code as my cell.  When I looked up both numbers they seem to be cell numbers as well but it occurred to me all the apps that are available that allows you to dial anyone's phone and it shows a bogus number on your caller ID.  I'm inclined to call that stupid 888 number but it's not even worth the aggravation.  I told him I wouldn't sign for anything that I have no idea where it's coming from and told the guy good luck with his delivery and hung up.

After googling the 888-755-2645 and reading the other inquiries on this page I have come to the conclusion that it's not worth my time.  And I went on the website for this Dalton Management Group and not at all impressed with the website and their contact info is for the birds.  If you have no address or phone number to contact then I have no reason to respond to this phone message.  Just typing this is making my blood boil because its more annoying than anything.  I can only pray that this people find something else to do.

Got a message yesterday evening to call this number back if I have questions because they want to deliver papers to me.  They indicated that they would be either serving me papers at my home or my work place on Wednesday 3/12....after reading all of the inquiries I am inclined to ignore this crap because that what it seem to be.  Sounds likes a scam

I got the same call telling me someone was going to deliver papters to me. I have been called several times. How do you stop this?

Got a call that showed a legitimate business number on the caller ID but the message left the 888 number.  The person identified himself as James Garcia and said he would leave legal documents on Tuesday between 3 and 5.  I'm assuming it's a payday loan outfit but payday loans are illegal in Montana.

Got several calls from a man named Brian Marks.  He said legal documents were to be served on me today by Friday and to called 888-755-2645 if I had questions.  Left a case number and to consider myself notified.  I never called back and was home all day.  No documents were delivered.

Got a call from a man saying he was going to serve me papers, and to call 1 (888) 755-2645 to set up a time. I called the number spoke with another man who said I defaulted on a payday loan and am not being charged with defrauding a business and check fraud. The guy who says he's delivering the paper has called me 3 days in a row regarding the scheduling of the delivery. Today is the big day so we shall see if this scammer even shows up.

I just received this call too.  I would really like to know if anyone received documents and what they were.  Mostly not worried, but just a little twinge of uncertainty....

I got a call today from a man named Alan Kennedy stating that he had legal documents to be delivered tomorrow. In his message he stated to call 888-755-2645, and see if anything could be done. I called the number and they stated the were sending me legal documents because I defaulted on a payday loan and that I was being charged with check fraud and defrauding a business. I can't wait to see what these "legal" documents say. I live in Illinois and any kind of formal legal charges have to be delivered by a sheiff deputy, which this guy definetely was not. Also, they don't call ahead to let you know you are being served.

Got the same call today from a Carrie Turner saying I'll be served onThursday. She left case number n said I've been notified. Idk what this is all about but I'm reporting them.

I got the same call Monday and today from Casey Lopez.  She never identified a company just that papers where to be delivered and if questions call the senders office (888-755-2645).  I called the number - Dalton Management Group - only got their fax number (716-332-6652) & website www.daltonmgmtgroup.com.  I thought I could get their address but it is not anywhere on their website - not even in Privacy Policy page that tells you to mail them correspondence but fails to list the address.  I faxed a cease & desist letter on Monday to them and any company hired by them and they failed to adhere to it by allowing Casey Lopez to call again - which by the way is illegal cause you cannot call anonymously.  I have now filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General Office and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  Hopefully relief will come soon.

Women identified herself as Casey Lopez on 3-3-2014 via phone call from a private number and left a message. She said she was from the "Summons" office to scheduled summons documents. She said the advance call was required by Florida. She was obviously reading a prepared script.

Last time I received a call like this I found fraudulent accounts on my credit report.

got a call from this number said his name was Dean Garret and that they were going to deliver some legal documents by Wednesday left a case number and said that consider myself legally notified. Tried to call my work number was blocked now just waiting for Wednesday.

Received the same message and then they started calling my friends numbers and my work.  Debt Collector or not it's considered harrassment.  Guess I will be sure to share that when I receive these documents.

PC Independent Couriers is how they identified themselves to my work...but they also called my cell and left a message stating they had papers to serve on me and wishing me GOOD LUCK!  lol  Total junk debt collector or something...they don't identify who they are collecting for or anything.  

Did they call again?  they called me wanting to deliver some documents that required my signature?  Not sure even what this is.

What did they deliver?  My ex mother in law got a call for me saying they were delivering documents
